W. o. w. So it's December already. My favorite time of the year, yay (October is out of the question lol)! Didn't see it coming though. Time flies by so quickly. o_o;
Anyway, we watched two movies a few days ago.
Chicken Little is cute, but sad to say, mediocre (it won't live up to the other Disney classics, nor pose a threat to Pixar). The characters are adorable but you'll grow to forget about them a few hours later. The plot was focused more on the little things rather than the big picture itself. Nevertheless, it's still funny and contains some emotional spice in it, making it a good-enough family movie. Sadly, I know many will agree that it doesn't pack a great punch.
The Myth. Sad to say, I didn't like the movie that much. The other internationally-released Asian flicks like Hero and House of Flying Daggers are way, way better. IMO, the storyline (and how it was shown) is a bit cheesy, as in ah-I've-seen-that-already cheesy. Also, the plot was a bit rushed in the end. The characters were not quite original (so is the plot, but I've said that already). The only redeeming factor is, yes, Jackie Chan's fight scenes. Still superb and entertaining, with his signature adrenaline-rushing yet comical choreography. If it weren't for the fight scenes, I would've slept during the entire movie. (And no, I *don't* sleep during movies.)
Oh, and I saw the new trailer of Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and it looks really promising. Not to be really biased and all because it was my favorite "childhood book", but it really looks nice, and Disney might once again take the cake for this. [incoherence] Hmm, somewhere in this blog, more than a year ago, I was babbling about C.S. Lewis' masterpiece and how I'd like to see it the big screen. Well, wish granted. Yay! =D [/incoherence]
Hahaha okay, my downloads are nearly finished. I just basically wrote something here for two reasons: 1) the blog is too dead from such a long hiatus, and 2) I'm just finishing off some downloads. What downloads, you ask? Well don't ask. o_o ... Taebin! Taebin! Taebin!
Mmmkay so I want to start December by actually getting an okay-enough amount of sleep, so I'ma sleep now. o_o;;;

The House.
IloveitIloveitIloveit. It made me realize the importance of my existence, hence brightening up my gloomy day... or, er... night. Thanks to Abubu for the link. Btw, I'm a good liar *sees the total contradiction in those words anyway*. So there.
Anyway, I just started playing a bit of Fatal Frame III: The Tormented to somewhat "test" it first. Yep. It's fun until some translucent being with a butcher knife suddenly appears to chase the neverending crap out of you. It looks promising, and I'm sure it's a great game, but I haven't gone that far yet to comment much on the gameplay and storyline 'coz the random translucent being with a butcher knife suddenly appeared to chase the neverending crap out of me. Just remind me to stay the heck away out of any kinds of cameras (and windows and mirrors and tatami mats and corners and shadows and tea cups and cupboards and... basically everything) after playing. ^_^
So there. Sadly I can't play SC3 as of the moment. I don't know what happened, it just suddenly stops loading after the Playstation 2 screen. Maybe it's the corrupted-file thing they were talking about, but I don't exactly know. Well, it's quite okay anyway, 'coz there's no challenge at the arcades yet.
And so I say adieu to all... for now.
New layout. Squee.

AHAHAHAHAAH YAYAYAY AT LONG LAST! :D After almost a year (OMGWHUH? Has it been that long already?) of pure Takeo goodness, I decided to go for videogames. Wee. Current layout is Tira from SC3. Why choose her? I dunno, I just think her weapon is so darn cool (connection = ?). :D Thanks to Abi for the spankin' new layout!
Anyway this'll just be a short entry. Just for the sake of having a new entry along with a new layout. Ha ha ha. Yeah I suck.
Went to the mall earlier, even though I had little sleep. After months and months of absence from any PIU machine, I decided to play again. And it just made me realize that I haven't done anything yet to fulfill any of my plans (of making a freestyle routine) back then. Ha ha ha. Yeah I suck.
Okay I can't really think of anything to say, except that I am now loving that song of Lee Hyun-Do's *points at current music*. Sadly there's no stepchart for me to practice with. Well, not like I am going to practice it anyway. *kicks self* Ha ha ha. Yeah I suck.
blah-isms.

I somewhat don't like this band (read: mainstream-ish emo-ish goth-ish stuffage), but I have to say that the song is quite nice. So is the music video. But let's not get to that. :D
Man, I can't seem to write a lot these days. Decided to archive the damned page when I realized that the oldest entry is dated September something. Brrr. It could also be the fact that there's not much change in life right now and it sucks. Well, wouldn't make a difference otherwise anyway. But let's not get to that. :D
We watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last weekend. I'm not exactly a Harry Potter fan, but I dare say the movie is great, IMO. The director focused more on character development instead of bombarding the film with too much fantasy elements (which can get pretty tiresome). I don't want to spoil much since the movie is just getting released tomorrow here, so let's not get to that. :D
As for some new-ish PS2 stuff, we just recently finished RE4. They toned down the OMG-IT'S-A-ZOMBIE-*heartattack* factor, and went with the Silent Hill-esque creepy environments and story (horror videogame producers seem to feast on the "freaky cult" storylines nowadays). Now that I mentioned it, I guess I should finish the other extra stuff. But let's not get to that. :D
For SC3, well, recently I stopped practicing. What's the use? No arcade to play at anyway. IMO, SC2 is still better, since SC3 lacked that oomph factor which SC2 clearly has. What that oomph factor is, I'm not quite sure. SC3 focused more on the side dishes, which makes it entertaining but easy to get tired at after a while. Also, most of the overused characters have been toned down (except that damn Mitsurugi >_<), and each were given an individual style. New elements to the gameplay and character's moves list have been added and changed that it's even crucial to re-master the whole game. But let's not get to that. :D
Anyway, enough lame-ass pseudo-reviews (I just need to rant :c rofl). I just realized that it's already mid-November. One month to go, Christmas time :D (I don't even want to use the popular "time-flies-so-fast" routine right now). It's my favorite part of the year because of YAY gifts. I always love to stare at the dim glow of christmas lights, it feels cozy and warm. Hopefully I can save up some money to give gifts which aren't half-assed lol. But let's not get to that...
...'coz I'm overly incoherent with all these stuff I'm blabbering about. Blah.
