current music: Katamari Damacy OST - Lonely Rolling Star

Haha, I'm not really sure what to write. Or what to write about. Damn I feel so uninspired. :D

Oh well, beware of the randomness.

Been playing Katamari Damacy until my head gets rolled up in the process. Yeah, I've finished it and all but, it's not enough! The OC in me (well, if there is, in the first place) wants to collect all the Royal Presents, Eternals, comets, and perfect scores. We all know that it's not gonna happen though. My patience is quite short-lived when it comes to doing side-quest stuffage. :D

I mean, look at Kingdom Hearts (out of 34675190 other games I technically finished but haven't finished yet) for example. I promised myself I'd beat Sephiroth first and get Sora's ultimate weapon but, look at it now. The CD is practically rotting in a corner, probably being used as a mating area for mice and roaches. Same goes with Suikoden III. This is why I shy away from most RPGs. I just don't have the heart to finish everything.

... And that's why I love fighting games. 8D (ROFL @ utter insignificance)

Seriously, I can't think of anything to write about. Writer's block perhaps? Or has my brain been rolled up in a katamari? Or... maybe I just need more PIU practice (I dunno how though, not much space here in the house). 8D

Oh, and to add more randomness to this post, I just want to say that I just found a Katamari Damacy pr0n LJ page. Yes, people do have incredible minds and a sick sense of humor (but this I gotta say - big props to them, LOL). And no, I didn't go there, from fear of being scarred for life. But you might want to search for it if you get turned on by the The King Of All Cosmos' manly physique. *shudder*

Just a few things I've learned from the past few days.

1. Playing Katamari Damacy for three hours nonstop will make you dizzy as hell. I nearly threw up from the dizziness. Or maybe that's just me. Har.

2. Constantly humming the previously said game's theme music will NOT annoy the people around you. Instead, they'll hum along. Coolness. 8D

3. Playing Ez2Dancer and Pump It Up! for more than three hours nonstop will get you leg cramps. One game for each leg. Awesome. Then again, maybe it's just me. Har.

4. LEG CRAMPS HURT LIKE HELL @&#%@^#!$#&^$!!!

5. You can still play PIU after getting leg cramps. Or not. 8D

6. Steppers who bar-rape look like penguins on steriods.

7. Penguins on steriods may soon murder steppers who bar-rape.

8. Maybe I'll disguise as a penguin on steriods soon to have an excuse to beat the everlasting crap out of a stepper who bar-rapes.

9. Hurray for Trucker (from the Agitator PV) and The Little Boys (from the Hill PV)!!!!!!!!1111111oneoneeleventyeleven

10. As you can see, I'm not making much sense recently. :D

Sweet. <3

FRIGGIN' CRAP. I just made one whole entry about roaches. Roaches, dammit.

Anyway, nothing's new with my nonexistent life, bleheh. Not surprising. I could probably sleep for days and it won't matter much. So don't go around being shocked and all if you find me in a paper factory, making... paper. o_O;

In other news, Squee and Smee are finally beginning to sound like real owls. No more "squeezed stuffed toy" sounds. Err... actually they still make those sounds, only more raspy, like a piece of paper being scrunched up. ...Well, who am I kidding, they're not owls. They friggin' meow, for goodness' sake! o_O;

And my thumb has a nasty blister too. No, not from making paper. I don't have anything new to play so I just continued my record in Need For Speed: Underground 2. I could use the right analog stick instead of the buttons but... okay I need to shut up and get serious help. o_O;

Friggin' crap, I'm going insane! Like... paper! OMGWTFBBQLOL

current music: Buck-Tick - Heroin

An hour ago, I was just starting to feed the owls when a heard a sound. That sound. The sound of crispy, flapping wings. I looked up and saw my dreaded enemy. So I hurriedly went inside the house, as if hearing the poor, hungry birds say "WTF! WE HAVEN'T EATEN YET, YOU WUSSIE!". And I just sadly gave them my apologies while watching the cockroach fly by outside. ROFL.

And a few hours ago, I was waiting for a taxi cab with Abi and Tack. Something brushed past my arm. I looked around and saw nothing. Then a cockroach flew by between the two of them, as if aiming at me! Darned roaches! WHAT THE FRIGGEN' HECK IS THEIR PROBLEM?!

Backtrack to two nights ago. It was late, and I was using the internet. Then I just felt something that crawled on my foot. And yes. It was a cockroach. AND A BIG ONE AT THAT ASLASDASDSDKJH. It was practically 10 centimeters away from my foot and I missed hitting it with my slipper. Friggen' hell, just the sight of them makes me lose my hand-eye coordination! So it ran away, leaving me no other option but to abandon the living room just in case it suddenly lands on my face. Good grief.

Lesson of the story (er... stories)? ROACHES ARE EVIL! But oh well, most of y'all know that by now anyway. This has just been a really bad cockroach week. Feh.

current music: Nell - Marionette

Watched two movies during the weekends.
War of the Worlds was alright. I didn't like the character development, but since its story is from a book, I can't blame the scriptwriter. Haha. The scenes of the alien invasions are really well-done though. What can I say, it's Spielberg.
Fantasic Four was pretty good. At least it didn't turn out to be something like the other Marvel (comics) movies like The Hulk and The Punisher. It's quite fun to watch, given the typical comic-book plots and scenes. Blockbuster hit, but nothing out of the ordinary.

And speaking of films... my uncle is directing and producing a short film, about a government conspiracy involving rumors about vampires attacking the rebels during the time of the Japanese and Americans in the Philippines. Am sure it's going to be pretty cool. We were supposed to go to the shooting last Saturday but we came late (as usual, geh). Should have been fun watching the actors and finding out how a film shooting goes and stuff.

Now, World Pool Championship. 16-year-old Taiwanese player Wu Chia Ching is the new champion, defeating the likes of Manalo and Hohmann. And he sets a new page in history for being the youngest player to take home the cup (and $75,000 like whoa). Lucky kid. Geh, it's now over, so I have to wait for another year to watch some classy pool action. -_-;

Oh, and lastly...

*beep beep boo-doobeep beep puu~*
translates to: Happy Birthday Takeo! No matter what they say (*coughmachinecough*), you're still a good ol' human being to me. ROFL. XD

current music: L'Arc~en~Ciel - Lover Boy

Heh. Listening to this song makes me want to dust off the bass guitar sitting in some dark corner waiting to be played (because it's been weeks now since I last took it out, LOL). Tetsu does the most freaky basslines in the JRock scene. Plus it's a nice, upbeat song... kind of like a "soundtrack" while driving around the city. It's one of my favorite songs from one of my least favorite L'Arc albums. Hmm.

Anyway, moving along. The WPC matches earlier were really exciting to watch. Especially how Marlon Manalo whitewashed two Taiwanese players in succession. And his next opponent will be Mika Immonen, a former world champion and one of my favorites. It doesn't matter who wins in that match IMO, I just want to see a good game. 8D Okay I'll stop here before everyone stops reading LMAO.

Well... there's nothing more to read anyway. Hahaha. XD

current music: Dirty Vegas - Days Go By

Been watching the 2005 World Pool Championship these past few days. Sadly, and quite surprisingly, most of the top players were eliminated early (some didn't even make it into the knock-out rounds), mostly by the new "still-unheard-of" ones. Quite interesting. Or maybe not. Of course I wanted to see the big guns battle it out later in the tournament. Most of the guys I was rooting for are already out. But... oh well. At least we have new names to look forward to next year.

One of the key factors that made the tournament this year a bit different (and more challenging) from the past ones is the tighter corner pockets. Many of them good players missed out on clear shots, especially the 9-ball itself. So it definitely turned the tide on most matches.

All this championship thingy makes me want to go play pool again. It's been pretty much two months since I last played. I might be getting rusty already. Bummer. :< Oh well, I could just walk a few blocks from here and play anyway. 8D

current music: Honey Family - The Rap: Act 3

Whoa, I'm getting quite interested in KPop, thanks to PIU and Ez2Dancer. Okay, more like, K-hiphop. Hahahahaha. Gahahahahah. Hah. o_o;

Okay, a bit of news flash here: I won't be studying this semester. I still don't know whether I should continue studying at UST next sem or continue studying at another school, preferably a tri-semestral one. I would probably be working in the meantime (andplottingtofrytheassistantdeanofartsandlettersintoacrisp), but I'll be sure to resume studying.

Anyway. ^_^

Nothing much to say, actually. The country is still in ruins. I hate getting into politics because it'll only make me blabber a lot. Not that the government officials (who keep on pulling each other down like filthy little crabs on a cooking pot) and the dumbass citizens (who don't know anything but to dance crazily on the streets, ousting anyone who sits in the president's chair) can read it anyway. I don't want to sound apathetic and/or pessimistic, but I can't care much because there's really no hope for this country anymore - well, with its current situation. Now I'm beginning to doubt democracy.

The Xbox here is back, so I guess I should finish SW: Knights of the Old Republic soon and begin with Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Or I dunno. I'm getting tired of RPGs and stuff. I need something fast-paced (though my brother is already playing Ninja Gaiden, gah). The Xbox isn't converted to play copied CDs yet, so until then, I have nothing else to play. Hahaha. 8D

*thinks of something else to blabber about*

*fails to do so*

*waves as a goodbye* o_o/

Ahahahaha. So uh, yeah. New layout, thanks to Abubu. It's another Takeo layout, so shoot me. :P

// just passing time.
Thursday, June 23, 2005 // 04:18 p.m.

Yeah so I have nothing to do and all. Everything's just killing me. So I'll just post a few pics of my pet owls, Squee and Smee.

...eh?
chubby little fellas.

Tried playing Pump It Up! Exceed 2 yesterday. Terribly sucked, LOL. Tack and I were stuck at the normal modes. No wait, we're stuck at the normal modes and the Pierrot song, thanks to Ez2Dancer. LMFAO. While everyone was busy overplaying Beethoven Virus and Canon-D and Dignity and whatnot, we were busy overplaying Pierrot. Eh... actually up until this moment, the Beethoven Virus song is ringing in my head, over and over. It's like the Arcturus (-_-;) of PIU. Oh well, but with 1 token per game, who am I to resist? :P I just have to find the mp3s and the stepcharts and I'll try to do the freestyling. B-boy moves. LOL.
