Yeah so I have nothing to do and all. Everything's just killing me. So I'll just post a few pics of my pet owls, Squee and Smee.

...eh?
chubby little fellas.

Tried playing Pump It Up! Exceed 2 yesterday. Terribly sucked, LOL. Tack and I were stuck at the normal modes. No wait, we're stuck at the normal modes and the Pierrot song, thanks to Ez2Dancer. LMFAO. While everyone was busy overplaying Beethoven Virus and Canon-D and Dignity and whatnot, we were busy overplaying Pierrot. Eh... actually up until this moment, the Beethoven Virus song is ringing in my head, over and over. It's like the Arcturus (-_-;) of PIU. Oh well, but with 1 token per game, who am I to resist? :P I just have to find the mp3s and the stepcharts and I'll try to do the freestyling. B-boy moves. LOL.

current music: Duel of the Fates

Yep, beware. Lots of random stuffage here. All squeezed into one teeny-weeny bit of entry. o_o

First off, Batman Begins is awesome. I don't want to make this too long (and end up with a full review because ZOMG it's Batman DUH) so I'll just list a few key points. It's not like any other comic book movie where you only see gay costumes and flashy action scenes and the stereotypical OMG-I-have-to-save-the-world superheroes and MOOHAHA-your-ass-is-mine villains. It's not like the previous Batman movies where it sort of centered on the villians and not the protagonist himself. This one totally captured the Batman portrayed in the comic books. The story is all about fear - how Bruce Wayne coped with it, learned to embrace it, and used it against his own enemies. Psychological, yes, and that (the story) is what makes it interesting even for the non-comic book fans. The only drawback is that it's not as spectacular (meaning, they still have to polish up a few weak points, like the cinematography for the action scenes, etc) as, say, the previous Spider-Man movies, but it's okay because a sequel is already coming... well, at least the ending scene in the movie says so. o_o

Second, the Revenge of the Sith videogame for PS2 was quite alright. I... okay, we finished it for only two days, I think. Not your typical must-not-miss videogame but it works well when you're not doing anything else. There's a versus mode and we (my brothers and I) played that a lot (heck, if there's even a versus mode for a Sesame Street videogame, count us to play that mode over and over), thanks to our competitive nature. XD The videogame shows a few deleted scenes... okay, the parts in the game are actually the deleted scenes, so fans of the movie musn't miss this one out.

Third, a few days ago I bought this book, The Coma, by Alex Garland. It's only a short one, only 200 pages, but really expensive. But it's all worth it, I guess. The story is basically about a man who was ganged-up by a group of teenagers and that led him into a comatose. After a while, he seemingly made a full recovery but he noticed that something is not right - memory lapse, a certain indifference from his friends, etc. It turns out that he's still in a coma, and he's only dreaming. And he had to find a way out - a way to wake up. Well, truth is, the story here is my worst nightmare. Not being able to point out what is a dream and what is reality. Or being conscious in a dream and not being able to find a means to wake up. Hmmm. Actually I can babble on and on about this for hours, so I'll leave it for now. If you're fascinated about stories like these, it's definitely a worthy read.

Last, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be released this September 14. I saw the latest trailer a week ago, and it was awesome. So, being the good person that I really am *snicker*, I present to you a few screenshots here. Oh, and don't complain if it's too blurry or whatnot. The action sequences are so fluidly executed that it's hard to capture a clean shot. Yep, it's that good. o_o (btw, I made it a point to capture stuff that aren't shown on the past trailers)

Wow, I felt as if I just advertised a movie, a game, a book, and ... another movie I guess. o_o This whole thing is just an advertisement! You were pwned! O_O Heck, if only I get paid to do this. But no, I present you these for I am a good soul. Indeed. :)

+ rain.

current music: fake? - Snow

Egh, it's raining again. Rain, rain, rain. It always rains at night. While to some people raining is good, to me, it's depressing. The sound of the rain even annoy me at times. But it mostly makes me feel empty. Or I dunno. *shrugs*

And I've been in a really crappy mood lately. Maybe it's because of the rain? Maybe. Maybe not. I just realized that averagely, in one day, I only get to have around 8 hours of human contact thanks to my sleeping disorder. LOL. It's late at night (ok, I should say really early in the morning), it's dark, I'm all alone, and it's raining. Enough to drive anyone mad (ok, maybe only me). Situations like these tend to make me think about everything. And I do mean everything. From the most nonsensical subject to the most important one. Sometimes I can't even distinguish anymore whether it belongs to the "important" category or the "unimportant" category. It just makes me go nuts and feel blank. Hahaha. Hey, maybe you guys will see me on Arkham Asylum someday *snicker*. @_@

Speaking of Arkham Asylum, we'll be watching Batman Begins in approximately 15 hours. Wee.

...

I'm excited, I really am. o_o

Happy Birthday to Alan! Happy Birthday to funky monkey Kohta! And yes, both have the same birthdays (June 3). Hmmm... no wonder... XD

Okay a lot of stuff happened since my last update so... here's all the stuff in a nutshell: I'll still be studying at UST (woopee!), VF4 FT is in Megamall (yes!), we watched Madagascar two days ago (physically fit, physically fit~), I played more Ez2Dancer (I like to move it move it~), we'll watch Batman Begins on tuesday (aaaaa!), am reading Batman: Knightfall again (ah, childhood memories), Pierrot (omg), and two days ago I had the best dream EVER (ZOMG AAAAJSDAKJDH).

Of course that's not all but that's on the top of my head right now. Plus, I'm too lazy to go in detail. Will probably do it tomorrow. Ja~

(awww, don't they look like the best of friends here? *snicker* XD)

+ just... stuffage.
Wednesday, June 1, 2005 + 05:33 a.m.

Well, the overnight hotel stay didn't get pushed through, but it was okay. I mean, all I wanted was just to go swimming. We just watched more Pierrot (wooo thanks to Michyu for the videos XD) and played Ez2Dancer during the weekend. Heehee.

Ehrm, Pierrot. It was an overload of madness. XD I love their Skull Armament concert (SKULL ARAMAMENT lol)! Every Pierrot concert (or any other JRock concert for that matter) should be like that! Raging crowds, headbanging music... everything! And no queer dancers everytime Believer is played. LOL.

Thanks to all that Pierrot overload, I'm thinking of playing the bass guitar again, because the poor thing is neglected after *coughacertainconventioncough*. And we'll do our own Skull Armament cover gig. If only we could find a guitarist or a really good drummer (and no, I'm not talking about Takeo). o_o

Okay I'll move on before I blabber random stuff about all that Pierrot stuffage. o_o

Played a little Ez2Dancer. A few more practice and I'll be okay. But I can't, thanks to the gang who frequents the arcades. I'd die if I can get a machine here at home. Yay. Oh well, I could practice at home with only the stepcharts, but am just too lazy. Yep.

Eh what else... am just sleepy so I'll continue this next time. Heehee.

+ the tormented.
Thursday, May 26, 2005 + 05:29 a.m.

Eh. This is weird. I've dreamt of something weird/bad/scary, and it's funny it had to show up now while I'm already recovered from my frequent-weird-ass-dreamz0rz illness. o_O It's been a really long while since I've dreamt of something which makes my heart pound like hell when I wake up (and that kind of thing is usual back then, believe me). Tsch. Oh well, I can't really spew out the details because it involves... *cough* yes. But, argh, after waking up, I don't feel like sleeping again, ever.

And speaking of sleepless nights/days/whatever, check out Fatal Frame III: The Tormented. It'll be released on Japan this July and the US version late this year. This is probably the only series of videogames that wouldn't let me sleep well at night. Well, Silent Hill, yes but... that game is only scary while you're playing it. Fatal Frame attacks you even when you're not on the game, especially if you have a wild imagination. Will talk more about it later.

Okay, my dream doesn't have anything to do with reviving the good ol' Fatal Frame days because I just found out about FF3 tonight. Now that I have unlocked and opened Pandora's Box (Isadora's Box LOL nvm)... I may have difficulty sleeping later. Heck, I may even have trouble staying up until early morning. Argh.

+ :D
Wednesday, May 25, 2005 + 05:59 a.m.

current music: Buck-Tick - Dress (Bloody Trinity Mix)

Hmm. I don't know why many people don't listen to Buck-Tick... they didn't stick around for 20 years (this year is their 20th anniversary) for nothing. Some people say their songs are boring but to me a lot of those songs are intense and smexxxy. LOL. Plus, Atsushi Sakurai is the best damned vocalist ever. Well, to me, that is (before some of you throw rotten tomatoes at me). I love his voice and how he sings onstage. Intense. :D

Anyway, yes. Obviously, I dunno what to write. I just don't want more than a week without a new entry, that's all. Heehah. Well, as if I have anything good to say anyway. :D

Last Saturday, we went to the UGotGame event. It was okay, actually I wouldn't know because we came late. As usual, PC game stuff, so I can't actually relate. Yes, they were playing Xbox and PS2, but I was led to think that Guilty Gear was the only game there (because it's the only one being played everytime I check). Why, why on earth is Virtua Fighter not revered here??? I should just fly to Japan or Korea where they hold VF tournaments most of the time (and get my ass kicked haha). Ehrm anyway, back to UGG. Here's something funny - after Jiru-chan's iMac G5 crashed (much to her embarrassment I believe, sorry about that o_o), a group of guys near us mockingly said, "Hooo! Gumamit na lang kasi ng Mac! Maaac! (Geez! Why don't you use a Mac instead?)". I dunno if they are real idiots or if they even got embarrassed when they learned (hopefully) that it is a Mac. o_o They need help. Oh well, we all do. :D

So we got to play Ez2Dancer after the event. And that time I was thinking of practicing the harder songs. I haven't yet though, but I can already follow the steps in my mind while listening to the song and looking at the step charts. There might be a difference (as to actually doing it), but, whatever. :D

Er... so what else... oh, we're planning to go for an overnight hotel stay this weekend. I hope it pushes through, since I haven't gone to any other outings (of sorts) this past summer vacation. Heck, the rainy season is already starting and I haven't even gone swimming yet. Poor me. :D

And with that, I shall say adieu, since the sun has already risen and now I need to force myself to sleep. :D

+ quick blabber.
Wednesday, May 18, 2005 + 05:39 a.m.

current mood: tired. sleepy. blah.
current music: Pierrot - Medianoid

Played badminton this evening (...yesterday) after, what, three months or so? Thankfully, I get better after months of not playing. Haha. That means I only get worse after constant practice. Yep. Weird, but true. And since it's been a really long while since I last played, my right arm (and wrist) hurts like hell that I can't even lift it easily.

Plus, it rained heavily... which is a good thing. Normally I dislike heavy rains (expect for it being a reason for class suspensions hoho), but thanks to that, the air is cooler right now. Actually it rained while we were playing, which is a really good thing because the cool air was energizing. Nobody wants to run around afraid of getting a heat stroke. Hoh.

Okay so what else... wow I'm really bored to the point that I update regularly these past few days. Haha. Well, the Xbox isn't here right now so nothing else eats up my time (aside from long hours of sleep). Unless I get a new PS2 game, that is. And speaking of PS2 and Xbox, the PS3 engine is three (or was it two? can't remember) times more powerful than the upcoming Xbox360 engine. Hmm. Dammit. I just hope they won't release those two yet. Because it will be frustrating not to get one as early as possible. Ugh. Heck, it would be more frustrating to not get one at all.

Oh, here's a random cockroach encounter. Last night, I was fixing something. When I turned around, I saw a cockroach on the sofa near me. Of course I quickly ran, but just then IT FLEW RIGHT INTO MY ORIGINAL POSITION, missing me by a few inches. The bastard was actually thinking of landing on me! Thank goodness I quickly swerved away. WHY DO COCKROACHES HAVE THE ABILITY TO FLY ANYWAY, DAMMIT. They should just burn in hell. Creepy 'tards.

+ rakuen.
Monday, May 16, 2005 + 05:26 a.m.

Eh yes, got nothing to do anyway, so why not.

Went out today and yesterday (finally). I was already beginning to think that outside the house is a very barren place that holds not even a single lifeform. Hoho. Summer vacation is a couch potato's ideal paradise. Or prison. Whichever you want to call it.

Watched Kingdom of Heaven today (technically yesterday). I don't know what to say actually. Well, one thing is for sure: the cinematography was awesome. Overall, it was good, but unlike the other Ridley Scott movies, this one didn't actually spark something up in me. But it's a good movie, nevertheless. Maybe I'd appreciate it a lot if I hadn't watched Revenge of the Sith three days ago (yep, hangover). Hahaha.

Well, the message (in the movie) was nice anyway. People confine themselves into their religion too much that they fail to feel its essence. Religion is just religion, nothing else. What matters is that you know for a fact (yes, fact) that God is in your heart and mind. If that's the case, you can't go wrong with anything.

Oh, there's one thing in the movie that really cracked me up though. When Saladin brought his forces to Jerusalem, the pope told everyone to save themselves by converting their religion to Islam for the meantime and repent to God later. LOL. That's just downright... egh, I can't even find a word for it. And here he was supposed to be the pope, the pillar of faith. Heh.

Eh what am I blabbering about? I just can't sleep anymore. I'm sleep-deprived but I can't force myself to sleep before the sun actually rises. My poor, poor eyes.
