So, by way of Sailorstar165 I've discovered my new favorite online game, Fiesta. It's a highly entertaining massive online role playing game with anime style charters. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is about as addictive as crack. However, as with every game it has it's draw backs.

My current rant is about the games "Party" feature. The "Party" feature allows users to join in groups with other users and attack monsters together for more fast paced experience point accumulation. For example my character (A level 20 fighter on the Epith server, guess what her name is?) gets about 20 EXP per monster. In a party, with the 35% experience points bonus that all parties get, I get around 10 EXP per monster. However, the monsters die three times as fast so I end up with 30 EXP in the same time that alone it would take to get 20.

Also, the use of parties allows for the talents of all classes. Currently, there are four classes on fiesta. These are Fighter (Me), Cleric (Sailorstar 165), Mage and Archer. Fighters have stronger physical attacks and better defense, clerics can heal and buff (to increase the stats or abilities of characters thereby making them stronger) themselves and other, mages have strong magic attacks which are long range, and archers have good long range attacks too. In the ideal party, mages and archers lure the moster towards the party, the fighter takes all the damage and protects other party members, (know and "Tank"ing) and the cleric heals and ups everyone. It works out really nicely when done right. Even the fighter cleric combo is pretty awesome.

However, parties usual need some specific in game etiquette. While not a huge deal to some, it can be rather cumbersome to have to justify yourself every time you need to go turn in a quest, rest your eyes, or take a crap. No party requires that level of politeness, but it is expected. >__< I tend to be overly polite to people online and like to only join a party when I can fully devote my time to it. Also, a good party works their way around to all the party member's quests as fast as they can, but it's never as fast as solo-training. I like doing stuff alone because it's faster and you can do what you need right NOW.

So, what's the problem you ask? While some (thank God for people like Gonon) on Fiesta are more then happy to accept your party invitation decline if you say: "Sorry, I don't want to party today" or "I'm solo-training for now. Thank you anyways. Perhaps another time?", others seem to think this means "I just want you to keep sending me invited until I cave in and beat my head against a wall." Often times, these won't-take-no-for-an-anwser people also use only "chat-speak" or flat out don't bother to spell check. While minor misspells don't bug me (why would they? I make them all the time), if I can't understand you AT ALL then I'm super frustrated when you keep sending me party invites though I've said no. I'm not sure how to respond to you because I'm not sure you speak English. Period.

My all time favorite misspelling, which I still haven't figured out, occurred today in another one of those "I caved in because they wouldn't leave me alone parties". The guy who invited me said "IM MOTHING" in the chat window when I tried to say no to his party. What does "IM MOTHING" mean? Do you need to crawl inside a closet and gnaw on some wool sweaters or something?

Whatever the case is, in general parties on Fiesta are useful, but if the person says "no" DON"T KEEP INVITING THEM T__T.

It's official. All my finals are done.

One a much better note, yesterday Brandon and I went to Cedar Point. It was physics day all the high schoolers were running around with they're instruments taking measurements. The lines were obscenely short especially towards the end. It was cold, but SO much fun. We walked all over the place and rode all the rides I wanted to. I think we got on all the ones that Brandon wanted too. Silly me was like "HEY! It's 55 out with a horrible 15 degree wind chill. Let's hit the giant ferris wheel." It was freezing. I never felt cold when I was 147, but now that I'm 133 (or lower, depending on the day) I'm always cold. Oh well. Back to happy notes (XD) I owe Brandon majorly for getting me out and about. Thank you! I'm also slowly replacing all my clothing. It's time consuming and expensive but I gradually getting jeans that fit me better and shirts that aren't so short. Today I hauled out a whole plastic bag full of clothing that no longer fits me. In it, one pair of jeans I bought in the fall of last year (they stretch out too much once you've worn them) and one of my favorite pairs of shorts (I could pull them on over my hips and they would fall right back down to my ankles). I still have more to get rid of, but I'm so attached to some of it that I can't part with it yet. Maybe next year.

Two more finals and I am free for the summer. NO MORE CALC! *celebrates*

Is it normal to have two sup-pumps? In my house it is. One of them fizzled today and we ended up with a mini flood. Due to rain, our basement had an inch of water in it. >__< No real damage has been done, minus some extra laundry and a electrical splitter.

OH! I just discovered the library's new e-books thing. Apparently, public librarys in the state of Ohio can check out online books which automatically "return" themselves for you. Head to your local library's webpage to check it out!

So, once upon a time our front yard was a mud hole. It happens every night it rains. Tonight was different, however. Tonight, Mr. Dark Red Lumina thought said mud hole was a driveway and went to turn around in it. He ended up stuck a good 6-8 inches in the mud.

After he left to go get a tow truck, Brandon and I noticed his car in my front yard. We dropped by the bar next door to ask Harry if his patrons might have used our yard as overflow parking (which has happened before). I talked to Harry but none of his customers were driving a red car.

I called dad who called the police and took some photos of the car. Apparently, Mr. Red Lumina was perfectly sober and just a little confused about what a driveway looks like. He's calling his insurance agency to get a tow-truck for his car.

He'll be dropping by tomorrow to work with us on damages. It doesn't look like many except some flattened grass. I suppose we'll see the extent of the damage in the morning light.

I have a new halloween costume. (To see a picture got to: http://tinyurl.com/2dzzo6)I fit into the small perfectly but the skirt was too short, so went a size up. The girl in the picture was wearing the small. I also got different leggings (I'd show you the picture but the model is skanky...so... no.) I'm still loving my new car. Well, it's not really mine... but it's close enough until I go away to college. Nice and safe with heated seats and a moon roof. I'm sitting in my car at Lccc and some jerk is blaring his music. And, to think, I sit out here because it's quieter. Oh well... Right now, I'm listening to "God is a Girl" by Groove Coverage. I'm really starting to like this group, but I've got to listen to more songs to be sure. Anyway, I should go do my homework now >__< Have fun!

9/11/2007
And now for something completely different.

Well... Actually... Not really... oh well...

Anyway... Having a boyfriend is a lot of fun. It's nice to have somebody who listens, to have somebody who wants to do stuff, who likes being around me because I'm me. It's like having another friend... but not... hard to explain... However,my parents and everybody are giving me all sorts of crap which kind of dampens the glory.

I'm really getting sick of having them refer to him as a "boy toy". For crying out loud, HE'S A PERSON NOT A THING! I don't enjoy hearing anyone, much less a good friend referred to as a object which is played with and then thrown away. That's just so... so... tacky. NO ONE deserves to be compared to something like that. EVER! Sheesh, ever heard of common courtesy? I guess like common sense, it's a myth.

Forget-me-not
Before I begin let us take a moment of silence for those lost 6 years ago. Is it just me or has everyone forgotten? The paper barely mentioned it. People seem unaware. No one really remembers, and the country is banished back to a state of perpetual hatred for those different then it. We're all so busy with our mediocre little lives and who-said-what's that we seem to forget that people died to protect us. Whether you believe all is wrong, all is right, or all is so freaking confusing that wrong and right are sleeping with each other, you must respect the lives of others. When it comes right down to it we have learned that some people will never play nice. Hate blinds so many, why should we, the enlightened, be just like them?

Why can't we be friends?

8/28/07
I have my driver's license now. The first thing I did with it was "run" a red light with my mom in the car. >__<;; Luckily, no one is hurt and my mom is convinced I "misjudged the light". I still say I was in the intersection but I suppose it was a freaking huge intersection. Oh well. I nerded out and got a Webkinz. Her name is Arsenic (ala "Arsenic and Old Lace"... S'nic for short) and she's a Persian cat. I think she's cute and Webkinz (NERD WARNING) seems like fun. I also got some meds for "pain management" from Dr. Jhaveri, so hopefully I won't be so uncomfortable. Anyway, life seems good and there is talk of procuring a car for my winter use as my mother uses the van when they salt the roads (mainly because she doesn't want her baby, the Mustang GT convertible, to get rusty). I hope everybody is doing as well as I am.

8/24/07
The first week of college is over and done. I've caught up on most of my homework (give or take a reading assignment or two), and seem to be doing pretty well. I owe Tita BIG TIME for letting me car pool with her and for waiting until 3:00pm for me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. THANK YOU! My psych class is looking to be the favorite of the lot though it may also be one of the hardest. My history class seems like it's going to be a freakin' cake walk, but I haven't seen the tests yet. I suppose I shouldn't jinx myself. Band.... makes me feel very... bad at playing my instrument. Turns out the Lccc band is also a community band. In fact, my section, consists of three people total. Two of them are adults with careers and the like. Did I mention I can't hold a candle to them playing wise? >__< Lot's of practice required, that's for sure. I have a headache from too much sun and too much cigarette smoke. I'm starting to think that half of Lccc smokes. I suppose it's their choice and all that but I dread walking outside for fear of the smokers that hang by the doors. I need to avoid them more. On a more annoying note *scratch scratch* I was eaten alive *scratch* by mosquitos *scratch* yesterday *itch itch scratch*. It's driving me insane. The total number of bites comes to.... 10. Yuck. Oh, I now have a USB mouse for Choco, my lappy. It's pink leopard print. ^___________^ Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler (Thank god) AND is cedar point day. I'm absolutely bouncing off the wall in excitement. (Which is not good for my headache). Here's hoping it'll be cool and partly sunny but not rainy!

8/13/07
I finally have most of my books for my classes. I'm short my history text book (which may have to be bought new >__<) and my psychology book (which isn't in yet). I'm still trying to switch my math class to the morning but drop day (when they dump the schedules of all the people who haven't' paid) hasn't occurred yet, thus I cannot switch my classes. Hopefully that'll happen soon. I also am car pooling with Christina to get there as I lack a driver's license. We plan on keeping up the car pool once I get it but switching cars every other day. Should be fun! I'm waiting for the library to get "Fracture" in because I'm turning into a Anthony Hopkins fan. Perhaps I will go there later. Feet are still blistery from my three hour skating session so I an go out side and enjoy that. I went up to the high school to find out more about the LCCC band director (who plays trombone XD). Colin looked sick. I hope he'll be all right. I must contact Mr. Day and start up lessons... I'm dead already. Someone *coughcough* has been skipping practice over the summer... ^___^;;;

8/6/07
Whitney came over today and we watched "Lady in the Water". It was a really good movie though my bad habit of talking through movies put a damper on it. Sorry Whit! Colin got his new water backpack which he has been obsessing over all afternoon. I need to call my cousins.... I should probably do that this evening seeing as the trip to the farm is Saturday. ^__^;;

Failed driving exam. Killed two cones and nearly killed a family.

My parents are back from Arizona. My mom's graduation went well and all seems fine. I went to the movies with Brandon on Saturday. We saw Ratatouille which was funny. There was some kid crying though the whole thing but overall it wasn't too horrible... well... except for the part where Brandon got his foot stuck to the gum. Sorry about your shoes! The we went back to my house, played bored games and ate lunch, went back to his house for movies and computers and stuff. Let's see, Sunday Brandon came over and we watched movies and washed his car. Today was HOT. I hate humidity. It totally drained me and I almost fell asleep at work X__X. Tomorrow is supposed to be just as bad. Here's hoping for rain. Friday the 13th this week! W00T!

...I guess I have a boyfriend. Funny how these things turn out, huh? ^___^

7/4/2007
Happy fourth of July everyone. I've finally put up an new page, updated my friends list, updated the fan listings an got some new tunes. The song you hear is the opening to Kodocha, called "Ultra Relax". Weird title, I know. Also I posted my g-mail calender (thank you king) so now you guys can know my schedule. It isn't open to the public for obvious reasons *coughcoughcreppystalkerscoughcough* but if you drop me a line at crimsoncatneko@gmail.com I will let you in. Oh yeah, new quiz results too -->. So let's see here... life... Well, Lisa, Tita, Paige, Sarah and I went up to visit Lisa and Sarah's mother. The grave yard was beautifully kept and we had fun talking there. I also got to drive Tita's truck. Fun, neh? Green Box is going well. There are so many little kids though. Very sweet but... I'm decidedly not a kid person. *raises hand* Never having kids...EVER. I've been talking online to Brandon recently. The conversations are always fun and I really enjoy having somebody to chat with at the end of the day. He has also been helping me with my spelling, which, as you know, I need badly. Props to him for complementing my hair and teaching me the ways of the mixer & compy. I feel enlightened. ^___^ We went to the fireworks with his family last night and I almost have all his little nieces and nephews names down... almost... That family is one of the most witty and charming families I've ever known and they always make me feel like I live there. Last thing, I finally got my lappy. It's name is Choco because it has a Chocobo sticker on the back of it and it hates me. (I hate you = choco in Spanish)
