Well, I'm part of my conference’s honor band now. The honors band is a band made up of the top band members of each school from our conference. Usually, only the first chair person goes. Sometimes even the second chair person may go if they have a lack of an instrument. However, I am the only Bass Trombone in the entire conference. Even though I am last chair, I get to go to honors band. While its great I can't help but feel like it’s not fair to the other three people in my section that are above me and will not get to go. The first chair trombone from my school is also going. The only euphonium in our high band is going too. He says I'll be fine, but I am still worried. Shtetl is going because she is an amazing flute/piccolo. Here's hoping I know what I'm doing. Oh, also, our marching band will be one of seven bands to perform in the Indianapolis 500 parades. As a racing car fan I can honestly say YES! WOOWHO!!! OH YEAH! *does a happy dance*

I got my wisdom teeth taken out today at about 8 am. The anesthesia hasn't worn off yet so I can't feel anything. My mouth is bleeding and it tastes funny. Touching my lower lip/jaw is like squeezing a gel ball. I can't feel a thing. So far it doesn't look like there is any swelling. Man, the minute they put the anesthesia in my blood stream I started to get wozey and about 10 sec. later (I kid you not) I was waking up and being ushered down the hall into another room. Weird huh? I have drugs for pain and antibiotics. I haven't taken any medicine yet because I’m not in pain and I can’t swallow becuse my mouth is full of blood and my tongue is still asleep. Oh joy. -__-;;;

Yeah! Finally, I'm on the third disk of ff7. *celebrates* So last Saturday my grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I made a power point highlighting their lives just for the occasion. I don't think I’ve ever learned so much about their lives. In the wake of my other grandfather’s death I've taken a keen ear to any stories or family history I can hear. I can't believe how interesting it all is and I can't help but want to meet some of my relatives that are no longer on this earth. Anyway we had red (spray painted with a coat of glitter gold) battery powered Chinese paper lanterns as center pieces at the party to match my grandmother's dress. Some of my mother's cousin, Rolly, and my cousin, Danny, tied all the helium balloons they could find onto one lantern and we sent it for a flight. I wonder where it went. If anybody finds it congratulations! I woke up in early morning (following the party) to find I was a victim of food poisoning. I was so sick that I made seven separate trips to dispense the contents of my stomach. This was spanned between 4 am Sunday morning and 2 pm the Sunday afternoon. You do the math. I was finally able to choke down Pepto-Bismol but by that time I was so weak my mother had to lift me up herself because I couldn't even move my arm to drink the medicine. No, I am not exaggerating either. It was terrible. We ended up spending the night at my grandmother's because I was to ill to get into the car, let alone get home. Ugn... To make this even better, another one of my cousins, Charlotte, wants to have the reception for her wedding at the same place that the 50th anniversary dinner was. I wonder if it's offensive to bring your own food? -__-;;

Today we launched a spud-zooka in my physics class. It was fun. I can hardly believe today was our last real day for the year. Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we have exams. My little brother, the lucky devil, gets off completely on the last day when he exempts out of his history final. So I guess that’s it. I am going to miss this year’s seniors more then words can say. I’ve known them since I started at my school and now they are leaving. Just a few short weeks and I’ll never see them again. Bye you guys. I’ll miss you.

Well, today I have the cold from hell and tomorrow I have two tests right in a row. I hope that I will be at least a little better tomorrow. I plan to go to bed early and I am drinking plenty of fluids. One of my friends mentioned that eating wheat bread helps to absorb mucus and helps to make your throat less sore. I’ll have to try that. I am also drinking my mother’s special cold blend of tea. It includes honey and lemon. I think the citric acid kills germs and honey, in addition to coating your throat and making it feel much better, is a natural antiseptic, as I understand. My friends at lunch were throwing advice at me left and right. It made me feel pretty special. I am so unbelievably happy and lucky to have such great friends that care so much. I felt bad, though, because I went to school in the first place. I hope I did not infect anyone unintentionally. I was so worried at the end of ninth period that I actually asked my teacher if I could have some Pinesol so I could clean my desk, which I had breathed on. At least it’s clean.

After two hours of raking leaves I am the proud owner of two new Yami no Matsuei DVDs. Thanks to the wonderfulness of the Internet they were about ten dollars total (with shipping and handling). I finally got of my lazy ass and put up a new background and song on this page. The song is "Eden" from; you guessed it, Yami no matsuei. I actually had another new background up before but, due to the color scheme, it was a pain in the ass to get text to show; so I changed it and I actually like this one better.

Well, Tomorrow's a happy birthday to me. Now I can watch R rated movies and nobody can stop me.... and practice OGT's are all next week but since I'm a junior I don't have to take them. Wheee. So our symphonic band got a 1 in contest, which is good and qualifies us for state competition. It seems like a lot of the band doesn't want to go but I do. Oh, and for the first time in about 10 years (I think, it could be longer) The chorale got a 2. Mr. Z (The choir director) is going to be pissed on Monday. For the first time since I didn't get in, I'm glad I'm not one of them. Good luck to you all, hope he doesn't eat your soul.
