I feel bad, so egocentric. I guess I'm a bitch. Though some part of me says that this is the best course. And people say it's the best course. I know it's true. But why does he have to come over all happy smiles and good natured. Why can't we fight? Have arguments. That way it would be so much easier. This whole thing is tearing me apart and I can't handly being a fake anymore.

This relationship ends tonight.

Had a great weekend at An I always feel very comfortable there. Like a short vacation from this concrete hole that's called Almelo. (Again I stress that I'm the only one allowed to bash Almelo since I live here ;) Is it the ever presence of tea?

a few notes:
-An can be just as scary with a cam as any dwa..err I mean Reggie
-Tea is good
-Angels to the rescue! ..erm
-mmm..elaborate dinner
-An has a 1001 different frowns (could be more)
-Fly you fools! :3
-It's great to see a suck-animation sometimes (Lotr)
-An can run like the wind!

Extreem stress week! It was littered with homework and late night assignments. Eventually I semi pulled trough. I wasn't able to do one assignment involving a report but the rest I did fine, earned myself 3 shiny studypoints for or a whole lotta work. (that's 4 assignments: 3 studypoints max)

Gonna do absolutely nothing now!

It's orange right now and there's a tiny nailtop of lighted moon left. In a few minutes it'll be all orange. Bloodred sounds better though :)

You suck Twentsche Tubantia newspaper. Thank you for telling me the ending of the Matrix on the frontpage! So if you happen to have that paper (I doubt it) Do not read the article. Don't!

I opened the newspaper this morning and hey, I saw a text about the Matrix on the fronpage, little did I knew that I was doomed when I decided to read it. Never heard of Spoiler warnings did they »_«;

Reading about the Voyager 1 nearing the edge of our Solar System.

Ever wondered what would happen if this was your 'how to play a record' guide? ..err. Let's hope the creatures out there have bigger brains. (the actual gold disc doesn't contain the text, what would be the use of that anyway?)

Esspecially since Bush has been spouting nothing but conservative muddle."Here's some progressive thinking alright. "..Everybody's allowed to marry.."

For a more elaborate report I point my finger to Leo, Kees, Arnoud. I got a school report to finish :(

Ah, back from a short hiatus (that's what they call it right?) Not that I'm done with the busy days of school, nay they are just beginning. Though I feel less stressed then yesterday and this morning. Yesterday was one of those days that smashing your head on the desk seems like the best idea.

Being that yesterday was officially a free day and me spending it till 20:30 on school could have contributed to the desk smashing bit. Ah well, guess it's all for the greater good, that's what they keep teling me. They must be messing with my mind again.

Wait, I'm not finished complaining! No, don't leave yet! Er..damn!

And have a wonderful birthday Leo.

Have to complete a video assignment for college, that would't be so hard if I had my own camera. But the thing is that the school provides these camera's to lend. Wich means good or bad weather, if you reserved a cam you'll have to make do. Yes, I was badly prepared, but worse; it was pouring outside. I was lucky to schedule another day. A vacation tuesday that is. Let's hope for pleasant weather.

And I'm now completely broke! Untill monday that is, then I can spe..noo NOO I musn't spend all my money!

't was the day of Geekfest '03 and it could be considered great fun. With the LU pocky, the people and even the rain and the walking. All in no particular order.

I managed to arrived at Amsterdam CS around the reasonable time of 12:27, felt a bit exited at meeting so many new people all at once. I've known Leo for some time and I had seen Isabel and Dama briefly on the anime convention. Sharon, Arnoudens, fub, Inge, Luna Puella, Sol Nuada, Halfnorn and tartanscarf I had not met before. So there were a whole bunch of people that I was lucky to meet. I wish I could have talked to all of you morey and get to know each one of you. I missed out on a couple of proper goodbyes! I shall promise to nag less next time (I am a whiny bitch! Sorry Leo ;) ). What have I learned from this experience:
-There is no camera.
-Leo loves his camera
-Halfnorn has funky hair wich I felt compelled to touch but didn't.
-I am not the only one to attract ma..err peculiar people (sorry Halfnorn)
-Inge has a low capacity for alcohol..nee just joking ;)
-Fub is a very considerate guy and is always willing to give up his pocky for the greater good.
-Icecream is also sensitive for the laws of gravity
-Dama has a cool jacket and besides that a cool personality as well.
-Arnoudens is always willing to help the needy, and accepts foreign currency too!
-Luna Puella reminds me of Claire Danes and has funky glasses.
-Sol Nuada has his own more coherent speeches about the meaning of life.
-Do not run into the locker area at the station
-Sharon keeps cool under any condition and is strong with the force (the force of resisting anime that is :)
-Tartanscarf and purple mix and match very well.
-Isabel was (also) willing to share her umbrella and has an expression that says: 'I am thinking and contemplative'.
-Someone should hit me on the head.

I'm now officially declaring homework my enemy! Raaah! Come at me like the evil demon you are! *grr*

For finishing my homework I treated myself to a Dreamwatch (Sci-fi/fantasy magazine) I call it a treat because the magazine is too expensive but a great read. All those new series coming out this new tv-season are making me antsy.

Was in eighties mood today as I put on the recently bought (record thing/LP) single of the Labyrinth Underground song. I finally found the wire connecting the recordplayer. Unfortunately my mom wasn't in the mood for any mood except for a dark cloudy one.

My mother keeps accusing me of being laks non-caring. Maybe she's right, because as of late I feel like things are just moving by and I hardly pay thought to things I used to think off. At the same time I feel content.

It's like my feelings are slowly being ignored by myself. Do I really care? Maybe it's the after-summer that does this to me.

My college days are littered with all kinds of reports-to-make, not one of my favourite occupations. Exams I can handle but with reports there's no control except for the deadline. I know I'll end up working my arse of on the last day. So far so good!

Early weekend for me. My mom is bugging me to call my father. I like having my father here but now it's for the wrong reasons. You see, my mom is pretty broke. Even more so then me. She automatically thinks that my dad has money and the only reason he's allowed to visit is because she thinks he has money. Argh..! I'd really like to slap her.

First day is over, let college come at me! I can handle it! (for now)

The day was long, sometimes a bit tedious, but none the less interesting. There were supposed to be two other girls in my XY-marked class but they never showed up. Nobody even seems to know them. Like they never even existed. Trainride home was extremely tricky. There was some sort of accident causing delays of 2 hours between my err..final destination Finally arrived home exhausted.

I'm gonna try and keep the news section a bit more up-to-date then it previously was. That means that any improvement to it is earth-shifting. If you have no clue about what news section I'm talking about (yes I'm talking about you LJ-er ;) I'd say to look at my actual blog. Yes I'm a pitas whore! :P

Tomorrow the first real day of college. Don't have any books yet and I'm not sure about the whole process. Hope for the best!

I had myself a busy couple of days. First there was the celebration of An's birthday last Saturday. Had lot's of fun, got to meet some new people and got persuaded to sleep over. Damn persuasion tactics! I also confessed the status of non-single Co. Something that I still have trouble believing in myself. And I still seem to be clueless in this whole boyfriend thing. Someone put me out of my-so-called state and give me a real brain!

Sunday I returned home after a lazy breakfast and a disturbing movie about a gay drooling cheerleader which was amusing but not awe inspiring (as some might have hoped ;)

Then came monday which had me standing up early to attend the College introduction course wich I feared greatly but ended up being not so bad at all. The male-female percentage continues with 3 girls in each class. I now reside in class K1F of 'Art and Technic.' Hooray me! The people in my introduction group where almost as laid back as me and no one forced me to drink beer (niet door je strot te krijgen dat spul). We played some games, had a barbecue, I drank orange juice and after some noisy cafe we retired for the night only to start anew the next day with some ancient games (spijkerpoepen anyone?) and a tour of the Grolsch factory. har..har.. That was probably one of the most boring tours in my life. And I didn't care much for the free 'drinks' afterwards (toch nog bitterballen).

Here I am, I survived, though my mom's date-y person is not what he appeared to be, so she's in the deep end while I'm actually looking forward to this coming year. I wonder how long my mood will last :)

*cleans up*

If you haven't noticed the media rouse behind the 3rd installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy you might have been locked up in a basement or a cave. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm also looking forward to part 3.
Here's a slightly older link that might interest some of us: The White book 1 and 2, by the great Ian McKellen himself.

One of my favourite and pretty much cult movies is 'Battle Royale'. Not to be taken seriously, plotholes here and there, a farfetched story and controversial at that! Ingredients for a perfectly entertaining movie!

Ah yes! The news: Battle Royale Part 2 is currently in Production stages. What could this mean? More controversial action involving student slashing gore? Wouldn't mind, but I'm looking for a new approach. What made Battle Royale a fun movie was their bizarre approach to a concept involving 'only one may survive'.

The setting takes place one year after Nanahara and Noriko escaped the perils of BR (and evil teacher Kitano) and the story is situated in an alternate universe. This could prove interesting!

Teaser, weird..but curiosity fetching!

A new anime by SE:Lain creators Yoshitose Abe and others called Texhnolyze. The first episode was recently broadcasted in Japan so I guess fansubs are soon to follow.
The story seems to be dark and unusual (another cult hit?). Interests are easily sparked by Abe's typical art and character designs. Gackt sings the ending song called Tsuki no Uta. More English info.
