Yup. It's a Happy Friday, or at least it was. I decided I would take the Chinese.gif off my blog, but I have to extend thanks to Bret for creating the image. The image, which read, "My Perfect World (Utopia)" in Chinese, just did not go with the green scheme of the background of the web journal. The BG of the image was white, and it just looked like this "chunk" in the middle of the page. Still, thank you BRET for creating the image. Denny extends his deep gratitudes to you!

Today was pretty good. My Chemistry grade is raising at a constant rate, but ever so slowly, mind you. The Algebra II quiz did not count, thank goodness, and I got a well deserved A on my quiz over vocab in AP English. Ah, that feels good.

I decided I would change the music, but I need suggestions. Maybe I should add words or something. Hmmm. Someone complained about slow connections getting a messed up version of the music, anyone want to verify? Anyway, until I get some suggestions, I'll keep it as is. Kudos for now.

Thank you BRETABEL.COM for making Chemokinetic its site of the month!

Sorry for not updating much lately. I have been terribly busy. Midterm grades were captured yesterday afternoon, and I still had an A- in Chemistry, unfortunately. So, while I am working my butt off in Chem, I feel great in most of my other subjects. I am so surprised I was worried about that Business Tech I test, which was easier than writing my name down on a piece of notebook paper. A Farewell to Arms, the book we are currently reading in AP English, is much better than The Sound and the Fury. I tell you, that stream of consciousness stuff gets annoying after writing a six page paper on it. I am anxiously waiting to find out what I got. Other than that, I should note that President Bush is on his tour of Asia. I believe China is his next stop, but what really irritates me is that the students asking President Bush questions have been pre-chosen and pre-written! Great, great freedom of speech crap.

On another subject: does everyone know about babelfish.altavista.com? It's the best site alive for future foreign language people! Check it out sometime. Kudos for now.

Chicago was much better than I thought it would be. Always the same familar smells and sounds, places, stores and restaurants. That's the Chicago Chinatown for you...always so predictable. Unfortunately, we got back too late for a movie with my friends. Drats. I wanted to see John Q, which seems really action-packed.

I got an e-mail from my English teacher, Mrs. Shaw. She said my paper had many good ideas (YES!), but it needed more strength. We'll see. I think I might take my late paper, just so I can get another weekend!

Thank goodness the CABLE INTERNET IS WORKING!

Whohooo! It's been an exhausting weekend. I have finished all my homework, except for some Science Olympiad stuff, but I really don't take that as seriously as I should.

Tomorrow, Dad and I are taking a trip to Chicago's Chinatown. Won't that be fun...a father/son bonding experience. *cough, cough* I finished my paper for The Sound and the Fury and e-mailed it to Mrs. Shaw already. It took me soooo long to finish that paper, and I doubt I will get an A on the thing. Despite everyone else, I am doing topic A on style. Anyways, I wanted to see a movie with some SO people tonight, but it seems like everyone is busy, so I guess one Science Olympiad party is good enough for an weekend. Maybe. Probably not. I had a great chat with Sarah yesterday. It's always so refreshing to talk to her! Hey, President Bush is on a tour of Asia. Interestingly enough, it seems like he's going to meet with Chinese leaders and talk about Taiwan and other controversial Chinese issues. Interesting. Hmmm. I doubt their talks will get anywhere since the CCP is set on such a high standard of rule. It is going to be the one-party of China forever! That's something to look forward to. Oh, I need some feedback: should I keep the music, change the music, or get rid of the music? E-mail me or do something! Kudos for now!

There would be another Science Olympiad party, but I decided I would have better things to do; plus, Mom's put me on social probation, saying I have to finish all my work before I go out again. Oh well. I still have some reading for AP US History, which should not be hard at all, and I still have to finish my paper for The Sound and the Fury, written in stream of consciouness. If you haven't read soc before, you are in for one heck of a time, especially with TSaTF. The paper is simply horrible to write concerning style. Ick. Maybe structure was the better paper to do. Hmmm. I dunno; all I do know is that I better get an A on this paper! Shaw doesn't offer extra credit for the second semester! Ugh.
