So anyway I did my first corpsman support thingy last thursday and it was boring as hell. They got me to do it by bribing me with a steak dinner. Well I went and all and I ate meat like I have never eaten before. Then I go back to work and my sister e-mails with those animal cruelty links. And then she tells me how she has turned vegetarian and it's been like two months. Then I get this huge stomach ache and all of sudden all this stuff dawns on me. God is punishing me for eating those poor animals. No wonder my whole family is lactose intolerant we were never meant to eat those poor creatures. So I am giving vegetarianism a shot. It is very very hard and right now I am findig it difficult to give up cheese/milk and eggs cause they are sooooo good and eggs especially have lots of nutrients that I would have to supplement if I was a veggie-eater. Argg..wish me luck people I think the meat seduction is gonna be very irresistable these coming weeks...

ehhhh not much going on lately..just the same old shit. One big change is that I have been thinking a lot about my future and what I plan to do with my life and I realized that I am actually a pretty good inventor. I have come up with 4 ideas that might make me really rich and they are pretty useful stuff too. So I thinking seriously about patents or entrepreneur shit. I think that might be my direction in life. I ordered fish online and they should have been here a week ago but noooo...are they here? nooooo..and they were supposed to send me an e-mail telling me if something goes wrong and they haven't so I am assuming they sent it but it hasn't gotten here yet which sucks cause they might be dead by the time they do. Oh well other than that I am just planning on what to do about the holidays coming up I want to go home for christmas so I can be there for my sister's 21 birthday. Let's see how that goes down.

I am very sad today. I actually cried a little but I tried really hard not to while I was at work, but it was really hard not to. Bluey my female Betta..died. It happened sometime in the early AM. It was heartbreaking but she was battling Dropsy for quite a while and I ordered meds online (the hard core anti-bacterials like tetracycline) desperately trying to save her at the first sign of her sickness (which all started with a nipped fin) but here I am almost two weeks later waiting for my shipment and my fish is floating in her little quarantine tank dead. *sigh* Such is the fate of someone living in the boondock desert. Since nothing is available for miles away.. hours away, I am forced to order shit online *sigh*. It's times like this that I really wish I was home, if my fish had been home I would have been able to run down to the local petsmart and buy the meds I needed right then and there as soon as she showed signs. But no, instead I had to watch her slowly die cause I am stuck here in the middle of nowhere. This is bullshit and I know what I have to do now to make my life better..it will get me in srious toruble but it would be worth it ti have my freedom and sanity back.

Been a while. Most of september was uneventful except for all the stupid shit that happens daily in my life of course..not worth writing.

Well October is finally here. My Birthday was uneventful also. I had to work so it was no surprise to me that it was gonna suck. I also got handed outpatients on that day and it happened to get really busy I might have had at least 4 and then one became an admit and of course she delivered before like 12am. OH well. The only real highlight of the whole night was my friend Fernando. She bought me a nice chocolate cake (which so went against my diet but sacrifices had to be made) and she also got me a card that said the sweetest things. She is a good friend ^_^ the sentimentality was enough to keep me in neutral spirits throughout the hectic night.

Saturday was great thought. My friend Johnson invited me and another friend to go to palm springs with him and spend the night at this ritzy-ass hotel/villa place called the Desert Villas owned by marriot. It was amazing! I should have brought a camera cause I had never been in something so beautiful before. It was a shame that we only got to spend one night there. But man what a night! We bought a whole bunch of food to cook and brought movies too. It took us 4 hours to cook everything but it was worth it..though after all that time waiting we all got full eally fast I only ate one plate of food before I was ready to roll over and die hahaha. We started watching Godsend but I fell asleep half way through cause I hadn't slept since Thursday morning by then. Damn the rooms even had a whirlpool in them and I never got to use it..what a waste! If I didn't have to work today we would have stayed another night..just goes to show how the military always comes through to ruin a good time augh...*sigh* oh well..better to hae experienced that opportunity at least for one night than to never have been there at all.

On the way back we stopped at the main JW hotel and got to walk around it. It was amazing beautiful in the lobby. There were parrots and canarys. Even a river that winds around the hotel with free boat tours! They also had a starbucks and I tried chai tea with soymilk for the first time in my life..it was delish! Never thought tea and milk went good together till this morning lol. Outside in one of the hotel lakes they even had flamingoes...man I should have brought my camera.

Hard to believe I was there just a few hours ago..but either way it was a great memory and a nice way to spend the day after a cruddy birthday, kinda made up for all the shit eh?

On a sad note though my betta blue is sick. It looks like she might be developing dropsy and the meds I ordered online are taking forever to get here! I hope she pulls through cause she has lost interest in eating lately. I will be very sad if she dies so I am praying she makes it ok.

Well anyhow I am at work right now like always. I have to take vitals and 3 babies so I gotta get going now @_@
