Hmmm..I gotta change this layout but I am too lazy to come up with a new one so I think I will just explore a few sites that let you "adopt" theirs hehe..so a new one should be coming soon.

Strangely I was looking up some stuff when I cam across a Shaman King fansite and I realize..omg..the manga ended in japan! 32 volume!! I only have up to 23 >_< I must know how it ended! The last thing I read from it was the defeat of the golem and Chocolove getting his jaguarman power and that was it! So now I am on this mission to educate myself on what happened. What I am reading so far is that most people were dissapointed with the ending..was it worse than people's view of the anime ending? (I didn't think the anime ending was that bad..besides Ren came crawling back to Yoh's place bwahahah). So if anyone wants to give me a quick update, please do so. Meanwhile I'm off to find out..

Oh! chp 52 for D.Gray is out by Yanime and the raws are out at Timcanpi.net (I still don't understand why Yanime translates SUman as SOman when the katakana is clearly "Su" I mean there is no mistaking it for "So"..besides katakana is too simple to mistake..which is why I side more with Timcanpi's translations hehe even if Yanime is quicker about it.)

Awww...shit. Shit shit shit. So..I find this really awesome group, BUT it's an LJ group. So now I have to go and get an account to fully interact. Why is this a bad thing? Cause I have this measure of loathing for LJ and any other pay blog place. See, Pitas is free and it provides total html customization..it really gives you freedom to do whatever. I am not an avid blogger..I just post things from time to time when I feel it necessary to rant. So, paying just to write meaningless rants is just a horrid thought for me. BUT then LJ cranks out these "communities" and there are so many legions of LJ junkies that these places actually work as opposed to many forums and clubs that go stale quick. *sigh*...what to do. I detest LJ's format of doing things..but maybe this once, for the sole sake of posting abilities, I'll stomach the place..augh.

LOL this test was very interesting to me because I have such bad luck with relationships. [D.Grayman Scanslations]

OMG! OH MY FREAGGIN GOD! Could it be? Have I finally left this horrid slump I have been in for new material?? Oh yes..yes yes yes I have FOUND MY NEW ADDICTION!

What the hell am I talking about? D.Grayman that is ^^. I went down and used my sister's comp (which has broadband), downloaded all the available chapters of this manga, burned them to a cd, and then spent about 2 days reading them all..up to chp 51 I think they are (no not two days straight..just two days total silly).

I absolutely adore this series! It's so grim yet it has so much action and the characters are interesting, the stories can be so heart wrenching and sad but all in all it keeps you going..I couldn't stop reading and that is a rare thing for me since my eyes usually get overloaded with the images and I take many many breaks from my usual tankoubons. But this was addicting! It started out a bit slow and I initially thought that it resembled a little too much of a Hagane/Shaman King/Hunter x Hunter mix..(is this done by the same author as FMA? The style in the character faces looks kinda like it only this is more of a goth? genre type. I am too lazy to look up the info). But I kept on going, I thought the conflicts between Kanda and Allen was cute, though Kanda is a bit too cold hearted about things for me to like him too much (surprisingly). Allen however was too adorable! So optimistic about things, but ultimately realizing the way things are..the hard way! Anyway it wasn't till Rodo(Rhode?) shows up that series picked up a lot! SHE IS AMAZING! I <3 Rodo cause she is so wicked but she LOVES what she does and she does it with style..such an evil lil kid! So I am all like WOAH at this point and from there I was hooked..seriously. Then later Rabi enters the scene and I am like so "oooooh he's cute!" and finally Allen has someone he can get along with fully (Linali doesn't really count cause I think she might be Allen's love interest in a way..augh it's so heavily implied) so of course I am seeing shipping possibilities the whole "I wanna call you bean sprout but Yuu already calls you that" thing was just to cute! But I think the character that really gets at my heart is surprisingly Crowley just cause his story was so sad and then he becomes so adorable when he joins the group. I mean the scene with him playing poker and losing his clothes..omg he looked so helpless it was too adorable! Awwww..Oh and btw the whole scene with Rabi and Allen tied up in the tentacles of the man-eating flowers..oh man..*nose bleed* I really think the manga-ka did that on PURPOSE! For all us echhi peeps..ANYWAY now they are up to the Suman arc and I am dying to know how this will turn out!
1. Cause Allen is also a parasite type so in a way does Suman's situation foreshadow his destiny should Allen ever doubt his Innocence?
2. Cause I want to know what became of the non-conformer boy Linali saw? Did he survive? What did he become?
3. Where is Cross!?!?!?!
4. Is Linali really psychic? What are those odd dreams of hers!?!

Man! I am like dying! And you better believe the fanart ideas are seeping out of my ears almost..it's incredible my drive is back! Also Linali is ok in my book. I mean she is a typical female figure..-tch- ..I mean she cries in almost every freakin volume! BUT she is a wicked fighter, her boots rock! (though it is so typical that the chick would get a wardrobe weapon..augh). So I guess she is ok..though the Allen/Linali shipping is too heavily implied without much reason for it..it's distasteful. I prefer Linali with Rodo..the doll thing just gave me tingles or with Kanda just he doesn't know she exists so it's kinda cute and because she knows what he is like.
And I am very very intrigued by the Noah Family! Are they really family? Are they really human like Rodo says? How many are there? Why do they follow the Earl so blindly even though Allen indentifies him as the devil and Rodo just laughs it off. Why is Allen called the False Apostle (prophet)? It is hard to see which side is doing the good or the bad. They kind of remind me of the Ryodan in Hunter x Hunter, so evil yet so close (and Tiki kinda look like the danchou, complete with cross type design on ther forhead). The bit with Rodo doing homework and Tiki helping her was too cute! I think of them kinda of like the angels of the apocalypse cause after all..God does plan on annihilating this earth someday ne? Doesn't the Earl kinda wanna do the same thing? So anyone protecting the earth against doom..would not be following the real God? I dunno it's way deep @_@..ooo I'm such a heretic! Uh anyway..I want to know much more about them..we are only being giving droplets it's enough to drive one mad! I want another Allen/Rodo face-off...that pairing is so hot!

Uh anyway on a side note it amuses me how much Allen looks like an older version of my orikara Endel. Though some things differ between them, the hair style, attitude and eyes are too close! Also Rabi and Allen sort of remind me of Damien and Endel as a team..hehe. Oh well..my characters came first ^_~ fufufufu..

*sigh* Other than that my friend Hansy went off to Japan last friday and he will be gone for a week. I hope he is doing ok and that he is having fun I can't wait to see the pictures he takes! Awww...anyway that signature will be worth something when he becomes famous..and you know I have a way with telling the future..heheh.

Great,,the one day I decide to water the back yard and what happens? Well it was afternoon granted and some of the grass looked like it was thirsty, so my sister is tending to the flowerbed and I decide..hey I might aswell wet the grass a bit. So I go out there in my short and sandals and of course my legs get a little wet and WHAT HAPPENS? 100-million mosquitos attack me, that's what!!! Well I can't say for sure they were mosquitos but I know I have a hyper-sensitivity to biting insects and whatever they were..they were attracted to the moisture cause when I finished and went inside is when the intching started..so now I have welts all over my legs. And you wanna know the interesting part to this story? My sister only a few feet away..didn't get even a look her way from those bugs. She didn't suffer a thing and it's not like the mist wasn't hitting her at all..augh. I mean I KNOW my blood tastes good, I've licked enough cuts/scratches/bloody-lips to know it does tastes wonderful..but to the point where she wont even get one courtesy bite? Really..

Well other than that my latest addiction has been playing GTA San Andreas..don't get me wrong..my sister and I hunted this down the DAY it came out..but it's just been collecting dust. Why? Cause I knew my addiction to Vice City was gonna be nowhere NEAR this..and I was right. I decided to finally give the thing a whirl like two days ago and that was a big mistake cause now I am hopelessly addicted to the damn thing..I even DREAMED about parts of it..or at least the neighborhoods. My ony joy in life is doing random things like getting to the "unlocked" parts of the other areas and outrunning the police with 4 or 5 wanted stars (it usually racks up to 5 after I crash into, or run off the road a few coppers)...other than that I just LOVE killing people and taking their money. Climbing on roofs and sniping them with head shots has become a great hobby of mine. My mother saw me slice a hooker's throat and she thought it was a horrible game..I told her the bitch didn't give me my money hahahaha. Partly true..she gave it up once she was laying in a pool of blood though hahaha...anyway now I am looking up cheats of course and wanting to get back to playing it very badly..oh bliss.

I finally gave in to all the fan art I have seen for the manga D.Grayman. It loos juicy SO I go around looking for scanslations and I find a place only the files are in batches for like 30+ MB..doesn't sound too bad..unless you are on a dial-up like me..so what does that mean? About 3 hours of downloading for like 7 measely chapters. Yeah..I think I'll wait to use my sister's comp for that project hehe. Anyone know if this series is worth checking out besides it's art? I really know NOTHING of it's plot or whatever..it sounds complicated from the little summaries I've read..I so hate complicated series..but the characters are just to neat to ignore. I'm a sucker for good art. Well gotta go addict myself some more!

*sigh* This if the first and only time I agree with Disney on anything. Miyazaki films. *nods* yep..when it comes to importing these masterpieces I am all for it..even if it is under the shiesty, commercial, Disney empire.
*shrug* on that note I highly suggest you all go catch Howl's Moving Castle in the theaters. I had seen it in japanese a few months back and when I heard it was coming to select theaters this past thursday I was very excited. Well I finally got to see it today (if only curious as to how the dubbing would be) and I can totally say it was decent. My only gripe is that Howl is just way more charming in japanese, his english voice was kinda deep for someone so pretty, and Sophie's young voice sounded kinda raspy...but everyone else was great! Markyl, was cute and Witch of the Waste was well done, and even the sorcerous Suliman was adequate. Calcifer was a good attempt at the japanese version..though you could tell it was a kind of "forced voice" on the part of the VA, but he still hd his firey charm I think ^_^. For those of you aware of the VA scene..Crispin Freedman does the voice of Turnip Head and of course he did well ^_^ Yay! I'm so glad Disney finally went with talent over fame! My biggest gripe finally overcome in some small part.

So yeah everyone go see it if you have the chance! It is a darling story with beautiful animation and you'll leave going "Wow that was weird but so so beautiful!" *happy sigh* if not at least go to support anime on the big screen..it just needs to become a moe integrated part of american culture rather than a 'novelty' as it's still seen. So go..go now!

*cough* other than that I have been rather sad lately. The reason I haven't written since..last month is because I got this sudden funny inspiration to do a little comic-snippet thing in my head, and I did I finished it..it's only like a short 25 page story thing..born when I started jotting some random characters on my sketchbook and realized "hey this could be little story!" Maybe someday I will scan/edit/upload but not any time soon hoohoo.

The part that made me sad was that after my little ravenous scribble-fest I felt my right hand become increasingly sore..more than usual.

I lost heart when I realized that any possibility of any career I could have gotten in the art field flew out the window. My hands are shot and that's like a pianist breaking his fingers..the end.

Don't get me wrong though! I can still crank out my usual piccles and such..but as far as getting a job someday actually doing what I like to do..it's just not gonna happen too demanding for a chick with hands that can barely handle typing for periods of time. *funny since my entries are so long hehe*

Anyway moral of the story..take care of your hands, don't over work them cause once they are shot that's the end.

Other than that I am happy cause I got to chat with some of my friends again online. it's not often that I run my AIM..but I did today and there they were. Happy me ^^. One of them is none other than the famous Slimu/Hans Tseng, I knew him from way back..for the uninformed he was one of the first Rising Stars of Manga winners, so you know he's got talent. He'll be at Anime Expo selling his manga if you'd like to see what I am talking about.

It still angers me how talent like his gets only the slightest look..while other people have their crap pimped out and making beacoup bucks off of em. Zoot! Carajo! Kuso..
