So, tests are pretty much over. Okay, so I have another one next week. It's not quite as important. I may actually get a chance to start answering emails this weekend. I'm on a slight euphoria that may be a product of too little sleep this week. I was much too excited over the 78 I got on my mineralogy midterm, but I think the excitement was mostly because the past four years of geology clicked today in class. I always love when things click. Suddenly, the weathering processes of tecto- and phyllosilicates, depositional processes, climate, etc., etc. all linked together in nice, useful ways. Yay for sericite! On the website front, I think this is one of my longest periods of time without an update when I wasn't out of the country. But, only 16 more pages, and the translation of ch. 3 of Seifuku no Koibito will be complete. Geez, this was a long chapter. I'm a slave to the public. *grin*
Thank you all for your emails of encouragement. Yes, yes, SnK is coming. I'll even give it priority, I promise. Er... after the episode of Tokyo Mew Mew I promised Kereberos I would translate for him tomorrow. *ducks rotten fruit* Sorry!!
*Run away you who dislike yaoi!* This is for all of you who have sent me the lovely emails; I'm sorry it's taking me so long to find time to translate. Once again, I blame it all on Tomoya thinking too much. It's really rough (I haven't even spell-checked it yet). Here's a sneak peak: Pg 71
Pg 72
Pg 73
Pg 74
Pg 75
Pg 76
Pg 77
Pg 78
To get more out of me, feel free to offer me bribes. Right now I'm dying trying to find Inuyasha adventure/romance fiction with a) Good grammar, b) A storyline better than your average harlequin novel, and c) Good characterization. I'm looking for mostly Inu/Kagome or Kouga/Kagome, but Sesshumaru is acceptable as well. As long as it's well-written! The two that I've found were: Becky Tailweaver's White Dog and Ookami-chan's Turnabout is Fair Play. Email me or stick 'em in my guestbook, but feed me fics and I'm a happy girl. A happy girl is a productive girl....
I really can't take any more midterms right now. Or meetings. And I have to get started on my JET application soon. *Headache*
Am ticked-off that the David Bowie concert sold out weeks before I even had a clue he was coming to Boston. Art history midterm tomorrow... I really don't think I'm going to have 180 slides memorized. Damnit.
Just discovered that David McGuire has been drawing more Citrusville: http://citrus.keenspace.com/.
So, I've gotten four emails asking for more "Seifuku no Koibito." This never happens. I'm in shock, I'm in awe.... I'm wondering what people saw in this cutesy manga that they didn't see in kick-ass ones like "Afuresou na Pool." Maybe people who visit my site prefer cutesy? I wish people would tell me these things.... "Kono Hana" is going to be a shocker. *snicker* Midterms over! I can sit back and relax for a bit... Shannon's comming to visit me in Boston this weekend. Huzzah! And I can watch some of those "Hikaru no Go" episodes I've been resisting all month. I'm such a good girl. 0.o Hey, Joe! You're the only one who reads this damn thing, I think. What a sad life we lead.
I'm 99.999% sure that I've managed to upload everything successfully this time. Let me know if you still manage to find any strange errors, please.
I love those guys, I really do, but they have some of the worst luck ever. Right now my index page to Katei happens to be blank. Don't wonder, just accept. They're having space difficulties, or something like that. In the meantime, the newest trans. for Seifuku no Koibito are on display in the files folder of my update list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/katei_updates/. You'll have to join the list to look at the files, I think. I may be wrong. |
