i smile whenever i see you
no matter what state
my mind has been enduring.
it's like the intense sweetness
that you encounter when first chewing
a piece of bubble gum
but the taste fades
just as my smile fades

the same darkness returns

so i just finished reading "the masque of the red death" by edgar allan poe in english (i've decided that i love edgar allan poe, basically just cuz he's krazy) and i discovered this song by thrice. it's written about the story and it's so good. enjoy.
