Happy Birthday Stacy!
I forgot to mention that Simon and I slept through a fire at a house across the street from his parents on Christmas Eve. Everyone got out OK, but the house is gone. And what's even creepier, the house across the street from THAT house caught on fire earlier in the week, and a man died. So there are two houses across the street from one another, burned. They were both appliances that caught on fire, so they think it was just coincidence. Weird.

At the beach, I saw a seagull that didn't have any feet, only little peg legs. He seemed to be doing all right walking in the sand, though, so I didn't worry about him too much.

Well, I went walking today and finally broke a sweat! The weather has been great this whole weekend, hopefully it will keep it up. And Laurie, I found the path up to Cannon's Point close to the house, so I'll start practicing my tramping up there, and hopefully when you come again I can make it up there!

Simon bought a Bedford van so he could haul his motorbike around, and he was moving the stereo (someone had put it under the front seat - yeah, that's handy) and he asked me to go get him a cassette tape - "A good one." SO, I got him Mi Tierra by Gloria Estefan, which is a GREAT tape, but not exactly the one to be blasting out of your van, trying to impress the girls in the nabe. Yeah, it's a pleasure being married to me.
