And I don't give a damn 'bout my bad reputation
Hey, does anyone else out there watch Freaks and Geeks? I love that opening song, and pretty much all the music in the show. I think I will have to buy that Joan Jett CD. Unless Freaks and Geeks has a soundtrack, maybe I need to check that out too. The show is pretty good too, although I relate more to the geeks than the freaks. Sigh.
Also, am going to start reading some Harry Potter, and noticed something interesting. In the UK, Aus and NZ, the first book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, while in the US, the book is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Anyone know why? I couldn't find an answer on the net, but maybe someone knows.

"Brut, PACO RABANNE!, or Old Spice"

Hey, can anyone tell me what the above quote is from? "Anyone, anyone? Voodoo Economics." What about that quote? OK, enough of the quotes.

Happy Birthday Jennie!

After living with a guy, why do I have the feeling this site will probably be very popular? Via the above site.

Lord of the Rings Preview
Hey, they are showing the first previews of Lord of the Rings on the Internet on Friday. Check out the site above for more information.

In other LOTR news, Simon's friend Simon got called to be a Rohan warrior, but he didn't think he was going to do it because he was "too tired." Dude, but you get to be in a movie! What're gonna do? Can't force people to do things they don't want to do.

They also have this cool white tower up there that would be really neat to get married in, but for some reason I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe I'll call and find out.

Dealey Plaza Cam
Happy Birthday Beth!

Dudes, the above link is for the Dealey Plaza Cam. OK, here's my idea. If you are ever going to the grassy knoll - OK, let's say the West End - let me know the date and time, then you can go there and wave at me, and I'll see you on the webcam! Won't that be fun! Oh c'mon, you know it would!

Happy Anniversary Jennie and Bob!

Woke up to another earthquake this morning, although this one was pretty minor. Simon didn't even wake up, but I did. The house was creaking and the bed moving again. Evidently this is going to be happening quite frequently the next few months, especially when the planets line up May 4-5.

And another bummer. Don't really want to have a religious church wedding, but asked Simon's dad to do it anyway because I thought he knew we weren't churchgoers and wouldn't be too heavy on the religion, and I thought it would be rude not to ask him. WRONG. Supposedly next week the vicar for his parish is coming by here to ask us why we aren't having a church wedding, because he needs her approval before he can have the wedding outside the church. AAAGGGHHH! And we also maybe wanted to have the wedding at this movie museum in Foxton, because we think it might be too cold to have it outside during the middle of winter, and no one thought that was too good an idea. I am now thinking of asking someone else to do the ceremony, so it won't be religious, and so we can have it where we want. Anyone have any help for me?

Earthquake!
The world must be coming to an end, because y'all had tornadoes, which made the news here, and I survived my first earthquake. It happened at 2:30am this morning. I woke up to the bed shaking, and I thought someone was in our room, then I heard a roar and the bed really started shaking. I was yelling "what is that" and Simon's like "it's an earthquake." When I finally got the light on, it had stopped. Luckily it was a small one for us, and nothing was broken or fell over. But pretty wacky just the same! I couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

I see naked people
We decided to have fondue Sunday night, because Simon has a fondue set but we haven't used it. So I go to the store to get some stuff for the fondue. I was gone 30 minutes. When I come back, Simon said "I stabbed myself." I'm like "what happened?" He's like "well, there was a fire." ??? What happened was he was filling up the little burner with the methylated spirits, and some of it spilled on the table. So he cleaned it up with a cloth. When he goes to light the burner, the table catches on fire. He uses the cloth to put out the fire, which also catches on fire, and which he throws on the carpet. He tries to stamp it out, but no dice. So he grabs the cloth, and for some reason he also grabs one of the little fondue forks. As he is running towards the door, he has to jump over this big cardboard box we have in the floor for his Fitness Flyer he just bought, and he gets a little off track and runs into the door frame. This somehow causes him to shove the fondue fork into his shoulder. He does get the burning cloth outside, where it is now just ashes, and Simon looks like a snake bit him. I can't believe I missed the whole thing.

By the way, the fondue was fabulous, and you could hardly taste the blood at all.

I can spend hours (ok, maybe minutes) doing this

Happy Birthday, Erin!

Just a notice that our clocks changed Sunday, so we are now six hours behind Texas. Well, really eighteen hours ahead, but it's just easier to calculate six hours behind. See me if you need more help on this.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Birthday Blake!

Simon is tutoring this guy in FileMaker or something, and anyway, the guy thought it was too late last night for Simon to take a cab to the train station and catch the train, so he let him drive his car home! Would that ever happen in the States?

Also, had my first hot cross buns today. They are supposed to be eaten on Good Friday (Bun Day), but just like anything else, they sell them early to make that money!

Do these kids want to drink Hi-C like we had to?
Well, not too much going on. We are supposed to be on a pilot program at work, but the computer systems are not working, so we can only do so much. But, they are shouting for morning tea tomorrow anyway, so who's complaining?

Hey, check out Blake's new site
OK, if anyone wants to hear a really tragic and sad animal story, e-mail me and let me know. It really is horrible, so horrible I have to share it with someone! This story is rated NC-17. Thank you.

Bunny Survival Tests
OK, no need to send Peeps (if anyone was going to). I have found yellow Bunnies, and blue Peeps. I have never had the blue Peeps before, mainly because I usually go with the more traditional yellow, but I'll take what I can get.

Well, the new job is going pretty good. Still in the training stage, but I passed my first test with flying colors, so I'm doing OK. Can't wait to actually start working.
