You know, the best thing about having a tattoo on your ass is when you have to get a shot back there, and the nurse pulls your pants down and sees the tattoo for the first time. Really, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I used to stay up until like 1:00 in the morning, watching TV, reading, or both, and then I would have a problem getting up in the morning to go to work. Now, I'm watching TV at 9:30-10:00 at night, and I fall asleep, sitting upright in my chair. So I get up to brush my teeth, wash my face, etc., and then I'm WIDE AWAKE, and have to read or do something to get sleepy again. But then I can pretty much get up in the morning no problem, and I'm never late for work. What's the deal? Am I just getting old?

I can't believe this was published on this day in history, and not, like, Christmas!
I noticed in our bathroom at work a sign has appeared that says "PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY" with a clip art pic of some outstretched hands. I don't know who put it up, and I don't know why. And I don't know why it says "thoroughly". I guess I better stop just rubbing my hands on my pants, as this may not be interpreted as thorough. You gotta watch yourself in foreign countries all the time. They don't put up with American shenanigans.

Olympics Coverage

Did anyone see the opening ceremonies for the Olympics? I thought they were pretty damn good. The song by the little girl could have been left out, but otherwise, I thought they were very creative and moving. And we got to see Olivia!

Naked Ass on the Front Page!
A radio station here wanted couples willing to do anything for $2000, but they wouldn't say what they had to do. When the morning arrived, these two students who got the chance found out they had to ride scooters through the central business district during the morning rush hour - naked. And they did it! And it was on the front page of the newspaper here.

Dr. Peter Snell
They had a "This is Your Life" program on TV here the other night, and they honored Dr. Peter Snell (see link above). The funny thing was, he now lives in Dallas, and works at UTHSC in exercise physiology or something. Anyhoo, they said every Tuesday night he meets his wife and sister-in-law at El Fenix. They even try to get the same waitress, because she just brings out their food and margaritas, she knows what they want. The show even sent a camera over there to film the sister-in-law and waitress at El Fenix. It was pretty damn funny.
Whoa, it just thundered here. It hardly ever thunders or lightnings, just rain rain rain. I better run outside to see if there is a big lightning storm. Bye!

Well, it's the first day of spring here, and I celebrated by going to see Me, Myself & Irene(by myself). Any movie that starts out with Junior Brown's Highway Patrol is all right in my book. I was singing along while glaring at these little teen girls being noisy after the movie had started. That whole damn soundtrack was good as a matter of fact, I suggest you check it out.

The other day at work a friend of mine, Sharyn (age 21), called in to a radio station trying to guess who sang Ebony and Ivory. She guessed Simon and Garfunkel, and the DJs said "Get outta here" and hung up on her. She freaked out and said she was really embarrassed, and kept asking me if I had heard it, and if that was a bad answer. I told her "Yes, it was a bad answer, because it was by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney, two of the biggest pop stars of that time!" Anyway, she kept worrying me about it until I finally told her to stop it, this was not something to worry about. I don't know, the older I get, the more I turn into Crankshaft.

I thought this would be funnier.
One time, we were on vacation driving through Mississippi, and we stopped at this GIANT rest area. Miss Mississippi herself was there serving coffee! Anyway, a woman came strolling out of the restroom area with a piece, nay, a MILE of toilet paper stuck to her shoe. I screamed, and my mom told me to shut up. I'm assuming the woman eventually got the toilet paper off her shoe, and my worst fear is that that will happen to me for screaming and laughing. Well, not my worst fear, but you know, it could happen. So be sure and check those shoes today. Just another of Robin's helpful tips.

Everyone Poops
As I was logging on to Amazon today, I hit the "Recommendations" button for shits and giggles. Was I surprised when it came back with the book "Everyone Poops", which is appropriate because I poop a lot, a CD for Hunters and Gatherers, an Australian group Simon really likes, and the game Diablo II, which Simon also recently purchased, and is spending most nights playing. It's like they have a window into our life. Creepy.

Absolutely perfect day here today, I could actually wear just my t-shirt with no jacket on, went to a park, watched some fantails skim along a pond, then fly around me, then went on a tiki tour, just driving around.
