OK, we've got a lot of things to get to, so let's get started.

In addition to Mr. Rogers, we also say good-bye to Tom Glazer, folk singer and writer of "On Top of Spaghetti" (thanks Cherri), and Howie Epstein, Tom Petty's former bassist.

Team New Zealand is now four down in the America's Cup after their mast broke while racing today.

It tastes like...

chicken, according to Stacy, and

victory, according to Dennis, and

burning, according to Ralph Wiggum, which is my personal choice.

If you go to this radio station's site, and send them a "Where in the world are you" message, they might call you, and I might hear you on the radio in the morning. How cool would that be? But you should listen to the station first, because they will ask you what song you want to hear, and they will play your song after conversing with you briefly. OK, get clicking now!

People, I am coming to you live via ADSL! Whoo hoo!

Cynthia got the trivia question from a week ago, the answer of which was the America's Cup. For those not keeping up, Team New Zealand is down by 3 to Alinghi.

Sorry I haven't been posting lately, my stomach has been super jacked up, but I am feeling much better today. Yay!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!

I won a raffle yesterday at work - bottle of Jim Beam and a four pack of Kahlua and milk. Drinkies, anyone?

I was looking at a recipe in a magazine yesterday, and the first ingredient was a "tube of sugar cookie dough." Is this what recipes are like now? All pre-made stuff mixed together? I don't know.

Another LOTR hottie - why do I like those elves so much?

Sorry I haven't posted this week, my eyes have been really tired lately, and I haven't felt like staring at the computer when I get home. If I owe you an e-mail, don't worry, I'll get around to it eventually!

Simon and I are going here when we win lotto - it is the coolest hotel ever.

Sign the petition to get Freaks and Geeks released on DVD. Come on, you can do it for me. PLEASE!

I made baked ziti yesterday, and it was fabulous. Except I couldn't find ziti here, so I had to use pene, and I couldn't find provolone cheese here, so I had to use romano. But it still turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHIA!

Well, looks like it was a kinder, gentler Waitangi Day this year, so that is good.

We had enchiladas sans tortillas tonight as Simon put the tortillas in the microwave for 10 minutes, not the one as suggested, and they burned. But then I didn't cook the apple pie long enough and it was still cold. So we're even.

Today is Waitiangi Day. Please check out Malpractice's entry on February 5 for an essay on what it's all about and what is going on now. It's no Fourth of July celebration.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

Well, got to watch the Super Bowl, sans American ads. It was a good game. I did not watch the half time show, as I do not care for Shania Twain. And was it right for Celine Dion to sing "God Bless America"? Or am I just being picky?

So long, Nell Carter.

Well, Mom should be here tomorrow, so I have to clean the house up tonight. Looks like the clouds are rolling in too, so the weather should be perfect. I think we're just doing stuff around the Wellington region, so that will be good. OK, later.

Inventor of jalapeno lollipops died.

Went to a wedding Saturday, and it was really nice. It was at their house, which has gardens all over the place, and as soon as we got there, drinks were served - constantly, your glass was never empty. Then they rounded everyone up to sit down, outside in their front garden, and they finally showed up about 10 minutes later. The guys all had on modified Austin Powers outfits (the jackets were a little longer, but they did have lace at the cuffs), with the groom wearing teal and the other groomsmen wearing fuchsia and gold, and the bride was wearing UT orange (sort of), and her dress was very renaissance style, and she had paua beads sewn all over it. Her bridesmaids had on hot pink dresses, and her ringbearer (13 year old girl) had on baby pink and a tiara. After the very short ceremony, more drinks and appetizers were served, while they drank martinis and wandered around taking pictures in all their gardens, then dinner was finally served where I tasted my first duck, which I loved, and after they cut their cake (which was green and orange) they served chocolate martinis. Fabulous! They had set up a disco in their house, but most people were dancing outside because the weather was so great. We left soon after dinner because we had an hours drive back home and had left the dog but I enjoyed myself immensely. Weddings are good if they are not your own!

Hey so has anything been going on? I'm learning a new position at work, just for helping out, plus now I can pretty much do everything so I should always be busy.

Got my eyes checked today - no change, which is good. I will probably be legally blind when I am old if they get any worse.

Gwyneth and Tom are down here, both for different movies. Gwyneth is filming Ted and Sylvia, which is directed by a kiwi, and Tom is filming The Last Samurai. So movie mania continues here. I'm pretty sure I'll hear something about Tom every day.

OK time for Seinfeld. Later.
