So long Fred "Rerun" Berry

Thursday, October 23, 2003, 08:54 p.m.

Dudes, sorry about not updating for a while, pitas.com's server went down, and lost some posts and changes and I couldn't log anything for a couple of days, but I'm working on a new web page on our server, and hopefully will have that going next week. In the meantime...

Tanya would like to hear a little Queen for Triple Shot Thursday:

"Bohemian Rhapsody"
"Who Wants To Live Forever"
"One Vision"

And I want to hear a little Van Halen:

"Jump" - I don't normally really like that song, but I heard it this week, and it made me feel good.
"Hot for Teacher"
"Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love"

I am updating the fotolog every couple of days, so please keep checking that out. Later.

You know, I don't really like lotion. Something has to be really dry for me to put some lotion on.

Please e-mail me your requests for Two for Tuesday - artist/group and two songs, please.

Oh man, I just noticed that my comments program is not working because they said I am a heavy user and need to pay to keep using it. I need to think about this as I may switch to another blog program that has it's own commenting, so I don't want to pay out for a month or so and then not use it again. This totally blows - there was no e-mail or anything about this, so for the time being, please e-mail me any comments.

Do you eat stuff that's been dropped on the floor?

Well, evidently they are filming this movie in and around the Wellington area, including Upper Hutt - I'll let you know if I have any celebrity sightings.

This week in NZ has seen the debut of Punk'd, Scare Tactics, and Jackass. What I love is how some people in NZ rag on American television, saying how crap it is, and yet, these are the kind of programs they buy to show on TV here. And people watch them here, just like they do in the States - that's why they buy them. You know, there are some times when you want to watch a John Pilger documentary, and sometimes you just want to watch someone being scared to death by an alien. Why can't we have both on TV, and all just get along?

Well, you learn something every day

The Feathered Back Hair Site

So, did you have feathered back hair? I tried, but I had to use a lot of hair spray, and then once I started combing my hair back during the day (using the comb from my back pocket), the hair spray would disappear and well, I'm pretty sure my hair just went limp and lifeless. I still use a blue vent brush I bought at Mott's back in the day - man, that must be the best dollar ever spent.

NO NO NO!!!!

When is President Bush going to stop lying? The rest of the world did not think of Saddam Hussein as a threat - the only noises came from the U.S. And are the Iraqi people better off? Well, a lot more of them are dead, and more women and girls are being abducted, and the electricity is pretty dodgy, and now there is depleted uranium lying all around. And what would you do if one day you tried to go to work but the building was bombed? I guess you're not getting paid, eh?

Look, I'm no intellectual and I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said before, but I'm just tired of the U.S. looking like a bunch of jackasses because of the lies of the administration. I cannot believe people are still happy with Bush's performance.

OK, back to whatever you were doing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE!

Ahoy, it's International Talk Like A Pirate Day!

Tonight's cocktail - Green Apple Fanta and 42 Below Vodka, served up in a martini glass. Um-um good.

Horrible day here in NZ - a little 6 year old girl has been missing for over a week, and they finally found her body today and charged her stepdad with her murder. Not sure why yet, everyone said he was really good with the kids (the girl had an 8 year old brother), I just feel sorry for his 7-week old son.
