Lockwood = loud, creaking house
We are living right now in a Lockwood house, which is a nice house, only it is very loud. I am constantly thinking someone is in the house with me with some of the noises I hear. And on a windy day like today - it's like someone is knocking on all the walls outside. I'm still not used to it.

Also, Happy Anniversay to Stacy and James, and Laurie and Mike.

My voice is my password
First, Happy 10th Anniversary to Terri and Eric on the 9th!

Simon got a new computer, the G4, and also the new Mac OS 9 operating system. It looks to be pretty cool, with a voice password! Also, you have your own user account so you can put your bookmarks and stuff there, and no one else can see them. Or see what sites you've been surfing to! Whoo hoo!

Corn fritters, anyone?
Yes, I made corn fritters for the first time yesterday. They are a pretty common food here in NZ. I was looking at the pasta mix I was going to make for dinner, and it showed it served with corn fritters. So I just got on the net and found a recipe that had the ingredients I had, and whipped them up. They actually turned out OK. Simon said his usually turn into one big one, so I was pretty proud of myself.

Also, can anyone tell me why you have to sift flour and other ingredients together. I didn't do it, and it turned out OK. I was just wondering.

Madness...One Step Beyond!
I just put that link in there for my brother and sister. I think that is one of the first videos we ever saw on MTV. And it was kind of weird. Simon really likes Madness, and we were listening to them on a tape in the car, so I thought of that.

In other Simon and Robin news, we're getting married. Yes, I can't believe it either. It's going to happen when my mom comes in January. I have made zero plans, so I'm sure it will be some last minute thrown together thing, but that's OK.

Anyway, that's all for today. Later.

So long, Madeline Kahn
So we went over to Simon's friend Tim's house last night for Tim's 30th birthday. His uncle was making curry. Someone said the chicken should be pretty mild. So that's what I got. Let me just say, I have never eaten a food that made me sweat before. Next time I'll stand at the end of the line and wait until everyone else has started eating. Then I'll probably just end up with rice and bread. Which is OK.

So long, Gene Rayburn
Man, didn't you watch Match Game? I even watched it again on the Gameshow Channel at like 2:00am in the morning when I couldn't sleep.

Well, it is really nice here today, so I have the doors and windows open. This means the bees come in. Most houses don't have screen doors or windows. So big bumble bees and little honey bees just fly in the house, and they can't figure a way to get out, so I have to run around opening windows for them. Then sometimes they still don't figure it out, and then I have dead bees lying around.

On the plus side, the Parsley Pig is growing nicely. Maybe I'll have a green thumb yet.

get one too!
Hey dudes, I have my own website, where I can keep you updated on my goings on, since my #$%^ e-mail will only work for about five addresses at a time. This way, you can check it if you want, and if you don't, that's OK too. I won't be cluttering up your mailbox with my e-mails. Well, this is all for now. I need to learn some html, and fast!
