Interesting article
for two reasons. Foremost, it's a mainstream conservative argument against discharging gay soldiers (though this is at the end of the piece). As if that's not enough, it explores some recent instances of blatant homophobic pandering by Democrats. The writer is self-aware enough to note that "Republicans rarely appeal to gay voters." Ha.

Am I back to blogging? Dunno. I've been thinking more about the left-eating-itself problem, esp. after last week's electoral meltdown (not that the left was involved, mind you). Is my poking at the left's problem part of the problem? Details later - I owe too many e-mails and calls.
I've been busy.

The Bran Flakes
are playing! The Bran Flakes are playing!
Come join me next Wednesday the 6th at I-Spy to catch my pal Larry's band celebrate its latest CD release. Steve Fisk will be playing, too, but you should come just for the hijinks of Larry et al. Em said after last year's performance "My face hurts from smiling so much!" If that's not a high-caliber endorsement, then the terrorists, oh, you know.
And they hardly ever play live - don't miss out!

As Mozilla is to IE, Chandler will be to Outlook - smaller, stronger, and non-proprietary. (Have you used Mozilla yet? I've been on it for months and love it.) Oh, and here's Mitch Kapor's blog about the Chandler project and other Open Source Applications Foundation info.
