I would lick substances off his body if I had the chance. Granted, I would do the same to Ken from L'arc. YUM YUM YUM. Although, if I had to choose one......hmmmm.....that would be tough. Ken looks like he could appreciate a female's loveliness, but Gackt would probably want you to appreciate HIS loveliness, not that there's anything wrong with that. I would bask in his presence.

Hmmm....that's a very tough choice. But I'd probably go with Ken...First. LOL. Then I'd want a go with Gackt.

I've got an ingrown nail, which sucks. And I miss the almost 70 degree weather we had the other day. Seriously, WTF?

Hung with Miya at Starbucks last night. I seriously missed her, so it was nice to catch up and laugh. She got her hair did, so it was looking very pretty.

Hmmmm...what else? Eric has been bothering the shit out of me. I cannot believe he's made it to where he's at. He's such a fucking FOB and a douche. I correct him at least twice a day and I tell him that "It's not in my job description" at least four times a day. I've already got enough on my plate, thankyouverymuch.

Wintertime is so boring. It's too cold to do anything. I've got antsy energy. I've been trying to work it off: I've written, played the shit out of Persona 4, re-read every book and manga I own...ugh. And now I got my fucking toe to worry about. But I don't have a whole lot of vacation time left, so it's going to have to wait until January or February before I can go to a doctor. I'm going to try to soak it in Epsom salt every night.

I'm craving mac and cheese all of a sudden...

I really want to go to Starbucks, but Hut is at a new store and I have no idea how to get there. Of course, I could always go to his old store, but the creepy guy works there and has this HUGE crush on me. So...I'll pass. He used to tell Hut things like: "You shouldn't be looking at other girls like that or Tara'll dump you and go with me." *rolls eyes* Hut had to inform him that I knew he was just looking and sometimes we look together, because I do know a hot female when I see one.

Our laptop also contracted a virus, which was totally not my fault. It was working fine last Saturday when I left to go to my aunt's house and then when I called Hut on the way home, he told me he'd been on it for hours and it suddenly stopped working. We finally got it fixed, although it's slow as hell. We want a new one but can't afford it right now.

My stepmother's company holiday party is today. I'm debating on going. I called in "sick" to work on Friday and told my dad I wasn't feeling well. I'm sure you're wondering why I was invited to my stepmother's company holiday party...she's worked at this place off and on for like 15 years. I've practically grown up with the owners and stuff. I know all the workers and it's being held at my dad's house. My dad knows how to throw a fucking party, let me tell you. It's adults only this time and he bought literally CASES of beer and alcohol. He's having a BBQ place cater it and my dad is making cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, etc...all from scratch. *sigh* Oh well, I really just don't feel like driving to Woodbridge by myself and back. But it's okay. I'll stay home, play Persona 4 and wait for Hut to get home and we'll have a nice quiet Saturday.

I am definitely NOT one for country music. But this Thanksgiving, we went to my dad's house. He cooked WAY to much food for just the 4 of us. And my stepmom let me watch the entire season of TrueBlood on HBO on Demand. I LOVE that fucking show. I'd read all the books they are based off. It stayed pretty true to the books. They added a lot of stuff and side stories, but it all fit because the books are just from Sookie Stackhouse's point of view and I think it would be boring and over pretty quick if they had stuck with it. There was also a ton of sex, which even at 22 is still pretty awkward to watch while your parents are sitting there. But the guys were hot (especially Sookie's brother, and I found the guy who played Bill very attractive). And, surprisingly enough, I liked the theme song. It just...fit, I guess. So I downloaded it. And if you know me, that's amazing, because I'm not a huge country person. So I'm a little amazed. I can't wait for the series to come out on DVD.

Other than that, having a quiet weekend. Hut rented the new Tomb Raider game for me. I also downloaded the demo for Mirror's Edge on Xbob Live. Today we woke up late, had food and then went over to Miya's. Miya and I went to the mall. We'll probably hang out tomorrow. Downloaded a bunch of songs off iTunes. Did some laundry...pretty boring stuff. Ugh, I got a neck cramp now.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS DUDE'S HAIR???? Every picture I've seen of him his hair looks like this. It's called shampoo, conditioner and a BRUSH!!! USE THEM!!!! When you are a movie star, you have to have a certain image. I know he likes the "disheveled" look, but plenty of other Hollywood guys have it and their hair does not look sticky.

Normally, I don't try to curse as my opening subject, but it just seemed appropriate.

My boss, Kathy, has accepted a position with the government (we work for a contracting company, btw). So she's leaving us. And guess who is going to be acting supervisor???

FUCKING ERIC. FOB, annoying as hell, stupid, lazy, fuckstick ERIC. A blind, one handed monkey with mental issues could do Eric's job better than Eric can. And now he's my direct supervisor. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?????? I am so pissed because EVERYTIME I go to him for help, when Kathy's not there, he doesn't know WHAT TO DO. Plus, he's lazy as all hell and tries to give off his work to other people. He thinks he's the shit and that he's always right. AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

Kathy said the posting for her (the supervising) job will go online next week. I am half tempted to check it out and see if I qualify. Or, I'm applying for another job, because I sure as hell WILL NOT let Eric drag me down. If he's the supervisor, there is a good chance our contract won't be renewed next year. Because he's a fuckstick.

At home right now, got off early today. Just signed up for a livejournal account, just in case.

So, I'm listening to The Beatles, perhaps my all time favorite band. Any time I'm pissed off, I put in "Can't Buy me Love" or "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da" and crank that shit up. It makes me happy and I sing at the top of my lungs. Hut knew of the Beatles, but I've been making him listen to them more, so now he can sing along with me.

Toki and I have decided that we would write a much better vampire book than Twilight. And, as I observed, our vampires would have no moral qualms about premarital sex. They would be sexing it up BIG TIME. Because, hey, you're dead. What else are you going to do? I think having as much sex as you can would be pretty high on the list. Because NORMAL vampires can't get people pregnant, nor can they get any STDs. So hell, I'd be sexing it up if I were a vamp. Aww yeeeahhhh!

So, you all need to read Toki's review of the Twilight series, because it's fantastic. I did read the books and my IQ dropped...seriously.

Despite all that, my mom and I went yesterday to see the movie. Luckily, I had several free movie passes, so I didn't waste any money on it.

So we were in the theater with a bunch of teenage girls who were like "OMFG it's EDWARD!!" everytime he walked onto the screen. *rolls eyes* I bet all their panties were soaking wet. The movie itself was lamesauce. The only thing going for it was a cool song by Muse. Bella panted waaaaaay too much. Edward's eyebrows bothered me. The lines were cheesy and awkward. There was an emo Asian kid who was slightly annoying. They played BASEBALL (no shit). Jacob wasn't actually too bad looking. Alice ripped the head off the evil vampire trying to kill Bella. Edward and Bella went to prom (she was wearing a cast on one leg and a Converse sneaker on the other. CONVERSE to prom? Jeez, at least wear a cute flat shoe or something.). THE END.

Did I sum it up enough? My mom and I were cracking up throughout the movie. So much so that people actually turned around and looked at us. We couldn't help it, it was JUST TOO FUCKING funny. I literally had cramps from laughing and trying to keep it silent.

SOOOO, that was about it. Twlight movie=lamesauce. In other vampire stuff, Hut's co-worker, Karen, lent me the Sookie Stackhouse novels. HBO based a TV series off them and it's called TrueBlood.

These novels are great. They are funny and a great read. The vampires in these books are relatively normal in that they sleep during the day, sunlight burns them alive, they have sex (but can't get a girl pregnant), and stuff. There are shapeshifters and werewolves. In fact, one of Sookie's boyfriends turns into a seven foot long, four hundred and fifty pound Bengal tiger. How fucking sweet is that? Her boss can shift into anything, but chooses a collie or the occasional lion.

Dir En Grey

Okay, updates about the Dir en Grey concert. I got off work early, showered and put on my awesome outfit. It was Nana-esqe. Very tight fitting brown pants with a design, red long sleeved shirt, high bitch boots, studded belt and my necklace. We went to Miya's to finish getting ready. She did my hair: tight twists on one side and then big hair on the right side. Looked fucking AWESOME!! She did my eye makeup too: dramatic liner with red eye shadow. We met up with Art and 2 girls (I can't remember their names...) and then met up with Rowie and James at Starbucks. We got there right around the time the doors opened, maybe a little after. There was some food there, we had a couple of drinks and I bought the new Dir en Grey CD.

The first band was actually pretty good, can't remember their names. They got the crowd hyped up. Then Dir en Grey came on.

Hut and I ended up getting separated from Miya and everyone else. They were "stage Kyo angled toward Toshiya" (Rowie LOVES Toshiya) Toshiya still has one side of his head shaved, which is odd. Hut and I were stage Kaoru (whom I originally thought was Die, both had their hair covering their face. But Die had more silky straight hair. More on Die a little later...)

The concert was AWESOME. Kaoru totally rocked my socks and was oogling my boobs (which looked pretty large in the shirt I was wearing.) Hut and I managed to get pretty close and I SWEAR that Kaoru made eye contact with me on numerous occasions. I was screaming like a rabid fangirl. Towards the end, Die did come over to get some stage love from that side...Kyo of course stayed on his little platform because he is a prissy prima donna. Nothing wrong with it, but still.

After the concert, they were tossing out guitar picks and I ALMOST CAUGHT DIE'S GUITAR PICK. He threw it at ME!!!!!!!! Because, by that time, I was practically at the barrier and screaming my head off. But some white fat chick caught it...the ho. Fucking HO.

Hut consoled me by saying he was proud that Die and Kaoru knew a good rack when they saw one and that rack was his girlfriend's rack. He also said that meant more than having some ho who's probably only known about Dir en grey for like a few months catching the guitar pick. I was still pretty mad and managed to trip up the girl and Hut "accidentally" spilled some of his drink on her.

So I got my CD signed by Die (who glanced at my chest first) and Totchi. They shook our hands and smiled and said thank you about a dozen times. It was so freaking adorable. I wished Kaoru had come out...booo. I knew Kyo wouldn't.

Other than that, Jack acted like a jerk. That about sums it up without too many frills. Hut was silently furious about the whole thing, and if it had probably carried on, bad things would have happened. Hut may not look like much, but DO NOT get him angry. That is one scary mother fucker when he's angry. And yeah, he may not have a lot of muscle (got some abs though) but he's fast and smart. Luckily, I've only seen the beginning before one of his friends was able to calm him down. The second time I saw it was at a club when some guys came up to me while he was in the bathroom. Luckily, Miya snatched me up right away, but when I told Hut about it, he wanted to beat the shit out of them.

Anyhoo, moving along. So the new CD is okay. I like a few songs off it. I miss the old Dir en Grey a lot. Have yet to see the DVD it came with.

Hut is also contemplating getting a new hairstyle. The one he's explaining to me almost sounds like Kaoru's, LOL...Hmmmmmmmm

Big updates

Okay. So I promised an update for everything going on in my life. So here we go:

NJ/NYC Trip
So my brother's wedding was on October 10th. I, of course, was a bridesmaid and during the rehearsal, I somehow got roped into going first. The hotel sucked ass, the walls weren't very soundproof and you could hear every car outside. Plus, we had to room with my mom and stepdad since I couldn't afford my own room. And my stepdad likes to sleep in sub-zero temperatures. Hut and I practically slept with every blanket in the room plus squished together to stay warm. I, of course, had to be with the bride and the other bridesmaids all day on the actual wedding day. I was bored and felt awkward the entire time because I did not know any of them. Bride included. The day got a teeny bit better as it wore on, but let me tell you, I was super happy to finally put on that damn dress and get to the church.
Unfortunately, I hit a tiny snag. The damn tailer didn't hem my dress enough, so not only did I have to go out FIRST and then had to worry about not fucking tripping over the damn thing. My thoughts as I walked down the aisle went like this:
"Omigod, don't fucking trip and fall flat on your case. Holy shit, my cousin is recording this. Don't trip. Fucking smile! Okay, pull it back, you're fake smiling. Holy hell, is Josh actually going through with this? Don't fucking trip. Fuck the stupid tailor. Fuck, why did I have to go out first? Don't trip!"
And so on and so forth.

The pictures we took at the beach afterwards were kinda cool. I still have yet to see them. The reception was like fucking prom with so much drama. I think I was the only bridesmaid who actually stayed in the reception room for the entire time. Most of them were outside fighting or arguing. Oh well. Saturday morning, I met my Aunt Barbara, Uncle Howard and my Oma for breakfast, then my dad's brother, Uncle Wayne and his wife, Aunt Joy came down. I hadn't seen Wayne or Joy in about a million years and I was so exited to see them. We all chatted for a while. I had already showered and gotten the car packed, so Hut and I had a little time before we had to go. Then my dad and stepmom came down. I was mad at my dad for something he said the previous day at the wedding (which I will not repeat), so I basically ignored him. Then mom and my stepdad came down. We chatted for a while and then Hut and I left.

It took about an hour to get to Toki's house and I was so fucking excited about it. We got there and visited a bit, had some DELICIOUS apple pie, met Squishy and we were off to Dunkin Donuts and then the PATH train to NYC. Being with them was so much fun, despite Tai's crazy driving. They took us to the Museum of Natural History, which was a little dated, but it was still cool. We walked around the city A LOT. There were so many people all rushing about and the tall buildings...it was awesome! We went to Chinatown and Hut bought some Bleach figures at the underground shopping area. Chinatown smelled fantastic. Toki wanted to take us to Beard Papa's, which sounded great. Miya and Jack were also in NYC and they were going to meet us there. We stopped at another Dunkin Donuts, walked the wrong way for a while, turned around and made it to have some of the BEST CREAM PUFFS I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE. These things were awesome. Miya, Jack, Bobby, Bobby's brother and Graham were there.

(On a side note: I saw more Dunkin Donuts in NJ/NYC than I have ever seen in my LIFE. We have 4 in the area and they are all at least 10 minutes away. But in NJ/NYC there was one like on every corner. It was donut heaven, I tell you!)

Afterwards, we got a little turned around and Tai asked for directions back to the PATH train from some gay guys outside a gay club. And these were SUPER gays. They were dressed so nicely and looked so prim and pretty smoking their cigarettes and eyeing my boyfriend's adorable ass. (Yup, I saw it. Hut didn't, but he TOTALLY got checked out). When we got back to NJ, we were dying of hunger and went to a diner for a late night meal. It was great. We also saw the Iron Sheikh! But before I could make up my mind if I wanted a picture with him or not, he had already left. Then back to Toki's place and Jun came! Toki made homemade brownies and we all sat around her table talking before passing out. I swear, Hut and I got the best sleep out of the weekend on Toki's living room floor. Seriously. I slept straight through the night.

It was so comfortable being up there. Hut and I had a great time, hanging out. I miss them a lot. Like right now, I wish I could call Toki and be like: "Let's go to the mall!" or something. ;_; I miss them...

In other VA news. I bought a car! I needed a new one, since we took mine to NJ, I noticed it was making a LOT of funny noises and behaving oddly when we got back. I got a Pontiac G5 GT. Payments are pretty good, about $400 a month, especially with this economy. My insurance is only about $100 dollars more a month. I'll have to scrimp on a lot of things, but since winter is here, we don't go out much and Hut is in a better position financially, so I think we'll be okay. I'm considering getting a part time job on the weekends, maybe Starbucks with Hut or something.

On the up side, I have been writing a lot. And I mean a LOT. Which is probably what takes me away from my beloved blog *pats her laptop*

And I need a new laptop. Ours is dying a very slow and painful death. And it will cut into my budget for my dollfie. *sobs* Hut and I are trying to determine if it would be more cost effective to have his cousin upgrade his PC. More on that later...

And we both have been totally engrossed in Eternal Sonata. We had gotten it a while ago, and stopped playing it until Tai got his 360 and told us he bought it, so we returned to it. I love it. And, as I mentioned to Tai, I had no idea Chopin was so sexy and had such a marvelous voice. I would totally have love children with the 360 version of Chopin. Go ahead, take a look

So I'm packing up for this weekend. I don't have work tomorrow or Friday. Friday is my brother's wedding and so we are driving up Thursday. Since I'm a bridesmaid, I've got to be up for the rehearsal.

Hut bought an incredibly smexy suit I can't wait to see him in! XD XD XD RAWR. He is definitely going to be the smex.

But the BIGGEST news of all??????

I get to see Toki and Tai!!! We are going to be staying with them on Saturday and going into the Big Apple!! XD XD XD XD XD XD XD I can honestly say I'm looking more forward to that than I am my brother's wedding.

Okay. So I'm PMSing and bitchy and I can freely admit that to everyone. I'm also bloated, cranky, and restless. Played TFU for a while. Surfed the net a bit. I'm also craving Triple Chocolate ice cream but I ate the last of it last night. I'm also pissed that my face has broken out a little. Ah, the joys of womanhood.

Hut and I had a all right day. Slept in, lunch at Friday's, then off to Springfield mall. I had 2 objectives: I need blush and I wanted to get a new purse. I ended up buying blush and pretty pink eyeshadow from the MAC counter. I then bought a skull sweater. No luck with the purse, though. So Hut suggested Tyson's Mall. We must have gone through every store. I ended up finding a black and light gray checked one at Nordstrom's that Hut bought for me. We also got this delicious tea at Teavana. The came back, waited forever at Popeye's for dinner (I LOVE that place, lol). And now we're home.

Going to my dad's tomorrow. My stepmom is so paranoid about what to wear to my brother's wedding that in addition to the outfit we got her last weekend, she bought 2 more dresses and needs my opinion. *rolls eyes* At least I get a free breakfast (I still have no idea why my dad insists on me coming to his house at 9am) and I can fill up my car with cheap gas.

Tomorrow Hut also is going to pick up Matthew from the temple. He apparently can't stay home by himself (he's 14...so I'm not sure what the problem is. He knows right and wrong...) and his aunt works a booth at the temple festival. Last week, she brought Matthew with her, didn't get home until late and then said he could stay home. So we're not having that this weekend. I told Hut this is not going to be a normal thing. Matthew is in high school now and shouldn't be missing all these days like he did last year. On the up side, I did tell him how disappointed I was that he stayed home last Monday. He said he got up with his alarm and was prepared for school. So this time, he called us and asked if we could pick him up. Hut said Matthew is afraid of failing school because he knows I'll be upset. So I guess that's good. It does seem to me I'm one of the few people who keep involved in his school.

I've had the week from hell at work, so I'm glad today is Friday. I've done jack shit with my school. I need to order the books, but I'm poor. I lead a pretty boring fucking life right now, LOL.

Hut and I went out to dinner with his co-worker, Doug. He's this older guy who's cool and laid back. We went for Thai food and talked and laughed. It was nice. Right now I'm mindlessly surfing the net while Hut is playing Final Fantasy Tatics on his DS.

Speaking of games, we got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which I will refer to as TFU. But anyways... It's all right. The camera angles SUCK like some major lamesauce and more than one they got in the way in a boss fight. And the game also lacks a "lock-on" feature. The characters walk weird and Starkiller reminds me of a Cabbage Patch doll and not in a good way, like that creepy doll killer way. And there is definitely a love story involved, but I'm only on the third mission and really haven't gotten to it and honestly, I could really care less. The game definitely wasn't worth the $60 I paid for it. I should have used that money to buy some new clothes or something.

I suggest either renting it or waiting for the price to come down. Oh well, at least I have Tales until the new Final Fantasy comes out and then only a year left until Bayonetta comes out. I'm also curious about Mirror's Edge, a first person parkour game.

How can I be sick????? WTF? Yesterday Hut and I were out with my dad and stepmom and I had a stuffy nose all day. I thought it was just a combo of their excessive chain-smoking and my allergies. But, when I got home, my throat started to hurt and my head felt all stuffy and I was exhausted. Not the normal kind of tired, but EXHAUSTED. I passed out at like 8 something.

Shit.

On the up side, I got shoes to wear with my bridesmaid dress. Macy's at Springfield has a MAC counter! XD XD SO I was able to buy more eyeliner. And my dad bought me this pair of Steve Madden black slouch boots I had wanted, but didn't want to buy because they were $100. XD XD I told Toki last night that I pretty much thought it was a guilt gift from him, but I'm definitely not complaining!

I think I'm going to the pharmacy...Man, it's too early. Why couldn't I sleep in??

I'm DYING for this Vivienne Westwood necklace I saw on Ebay. It's a steal at about $95-$100, but I don't have the money. It's like the one Toki has and I've ALWAYS admired hers. And I'm doing this British-punk style for the Diru concert in November and who else better to wear than Vivi????????

So I took today off because I felt like it. It was nice. I played Tales of Vesperia all day and then went to Barnes and Noble. I bought Nana vol. 12, Zombie-Loan vol. 3 and Vampire Knight vol. 5 and I got the new issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly. *sighs* $36 I shouldn't have spent. I KNEW I shouldn't have walked into the manga section. There was these two teens looking at manga and they were whining about how they could only buy one. I walked right over and picked up 3 and they glared daggers at me. I've already finished reading them! I devour manga.

Then I met up with Miya at her house and we talked and then went to Starbucks. It was wonderful to sit with her and just talk. XD

So, Hut is playing Tales right now and I'm watching Zombie-Loan. I'm trying to figure out who sings the ending theme song. I recognize the voice, I'm just stuck on who it is.

I also wanted to punch out a co-worker because he spouts off shit he doesn't even know. He basically said all this shit about my boyfriend: how he wasn't all that good looking, didn't have a good job, blah blah blah, and I told him he didn't even know Hut and he wasn't one to talk. Jackass. I felt like taking off my stiletto and driving the heel into his right eye. Fucker. Just thinking about what he said makes me angry.

Now I'm hungry.

So I had a good birthday. Mom got me Diru tickets, Dad bought me a bracelet and took Hut and I out to a fantastic dinner, and Josh got me a $50 giftcard to EB Games and a $25 giftcard to Express. And thank you to everyone who gave me lots of birthday love! *smooshies* And Miya and I even got a SURPRISE birthday party! I've never had a surprise birthday party in my entire LIFE. It was so much fun and I love my friends.

Moving on to dorkier things...

A lot of video games are also out/coming out that I am SO hyped about! Already Tales of Vesperia came out for the 360 and I love that game! I've been playing the heck out of it. There's even a long, silver haired badass named Duke *cough, cough SEPHIROTH, cough hack*. And a sexy voiced Commandant Alexei. But I have a secret major crush on Yuri Lowell (the main character) and I'm trying to convince Hut to grow out his hair to cosplay him. Very unsuccessful right now, but I'll keep working! Tales just has a great story and likeable characters. Infinite Undiscovery also came out yesterday. I got it, but it's kinda "eh". Not really what I was expecting. The battle system is a little strange. The story so far has me slightly confused (you can chain up the moon, apparently, and harness it's power for evil) and the main character is named Capell and plays a flute...I think that's enough said. And then: DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNNNN.......

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed come out on the 16th!! WOOHOO!! That game looks like some serious AWESOMESAUCE. Hut downloaded the long trailer of Xbox Live and it looks great! The only thing is, the trailer definitely hints at a love story (with a super hot blond woman. Man, she looks great) and I can only pray to the Being-That-Is that George Lucas did NOT write for this game. Because, let's face it, if our world was being held hostage by savage aliens threating to incinerate us alive and our only hope of redemption was George Lucas writing a love story...well...I hope aliens like us well-done, because we'd be done for.

And the secret apprentice's name is Starkiller. And if you're a dork like me, you would know that Luke Skywalker was supposed to be Daek Starkiller. Ah...I am a serious dork -.-'

Hut also downloaded the trailer and the things you can do with the Force ROCKS. It's pretty sweet. Like I said...AWESOMESAUCE.

4 days until my birthday!

So I'll be 22 on Friday! XD I'm not expecting anything. Miya and I got a surprise party this past Saturday, which was sweet. She's got the pics up on her myspace, and I need to get mine up. XD XD XD XD We had such a wonderful time, I didn't want to leave, but I was EXHAUSTED because I had to go to NJ for Corrine's bridal shower. I got to see Josh though, which was nice. I miss my brother ;_;

Hut and I also saw Tropic Thunder, which was hilarious! We might go see it again. I loved it! Tom Cruise redeemed himself slightly from a paranoid, freaky nutcase to just being a plain wacko, LOL.

I'm still waiting for my review at work to get my yearly raise >_< Everyone says I should ask about it, but I feel weird doing it, you know?

And I'm excited fall is coming, for the first time ever. October is my brother's wedding and my dad has decided to stop being a prick and actually is going to show up. And then we get to see Toki-luv and Tai!! And then in Nov. is the Diru concert. We're going with Miya, Jack, Rowie, James, and probably Phon. XD I'm so psyched!!! XD XD XD. Rowie said last year, the members all drank bottled water and then spit it out over the crowd. Okay, that's gross, but since it's Diru, I don't mind. I'd rather have Ken or Gackt do it, but I'll take what I can get, LOL. And Rowie saw them last year at Ram's Head, so she knows the place and promises that we can fight our way through the fangirls!

Okay...I am kinda disappointed, because my dad hasn't asked what I've wanted for my birthday yet. But maybe that means I'll just get money, which is fine with me. He's taking Hut and I out to a really fancy dinner on Friday, so I'm excited. Then Saturday, Hut and I are going to the Ren Faire with Wade *rolls eyes*. I'll have to remember to take Excedrin with me. I always get heat headaches. And then Sunday, we'll probably go see Hut's baby cousin, Amin. Although, his cousin (Amin's mom), Nam, tells Amin to say hi to "Uncle Hut". Nam and Hut are close in age, so Hut considers her his big sister. It's sweet and I can't wait to see him.

Oh, and work still sucks. So, I guess that about covers my updates, LOL. And I still have to wear a fuck ugly bridesmaid dress to my brother's wedding >_<

Wednesday

After work, Hut and I ran errands including getting some snacks, paper cups, plates, and cutlery. I also bought a new t-shirt and hat to wear. I then tried to work on my cosplay.

Thursday

So, after staying up way late on Wednesday trying to finish my Guilty Gear cosplay (I was going to be Bridget). I woke up early, packed a few things, and at about 8 I went to Hut's work for a Venti Mocha Frap. I watched him work a bit and then went to see my old assistant manager, Ailien, over at Chevy Chase so I could cash in my coins. After that, I headed back to Starbucks to have lunch with Hut and then I had to run errands. I went to the bank to get cash, went to get a deck of Uno cards (because I have NO idea where ours went), had to get another box of hair dye, and then get my hair cut.
By the time I got home, Hut was back, so we finished packing, loaded the car, did like 3 runs through my list to make sure we had everything, and then went to the grocery store (ice, snacks, soda, bread), got gas, put air in my tires and we were off to Baltimore!!
We got there like 7-ish and I called Toki who said already a line was forming around the building to pick up the pre-reg badges. Hut and I scored an awesome parking spot right near the elevator and we hurried down to get in line. OMG, it was Thursday and already people were smelling like B.O.!!! And there were all these fake goth girls and boys and the really annoying fan-people. I think Hut and I were the only ones dressed rather normally: I was wearing jeans, tank top, and flip flops and Hut was in shorts and a polo I think.
When we got in the building, we saw Toki, Tai, Jun, and Akio who we all hugged, but Hut and I had to get in the line. After getting our badges, we met up with them and hugged and talked, and laughed. We all went back to the room: This room was AWESOME!!! Despite the fact is vaguely smelled of cigarettes (it was a non smoking room). Tai helped Hut and I unload our mondo amounts of luggage and crap back up to the room and we all got settled in to drink and exchange stories. It was so wonderful seeing all of them. We stayed up until about 4am. I tried to work on my cosplay, but ended up giving up. I HATE half-assed cosplays, so I didn't do mine, but I'm glad I did. There were SOOO many half assed and ugly ones. Hut and I brought an inflatable air mattress, which was an awesomesauce idea, except the girl who borrowed it from us punched a hole in it and by the time we woke up, it was completely flat. I was so PISSED! >.<

Friday

After we all woke up and had some DELICIOUS pb and j sandwiches, Toki, Tai, Hut, and I decided to go swimming. It was a gorgeous day, a little chilly. Hut got cold really quickly in the pool because, of course, he has no body fat. Then, it was back to the hotel to shower, change, and lounge around before heading down to the con. )and went to the dealer's room and Artist Alley, where I managed to score some excellent art I can't wait to frame! XD Toki also bought me smut XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD We also went to Johnny Rocket's for lunch. Because I was so damn hungry, my grilled cheese sandwich, chocolate milkshake, and french fries tasted like sex. That's right, SEX. Delicious.
We ended up splitting up, Toki and I headed back to the room and Tai and Hut went to get beer. Apparently, they were solicited by the guys outside the strip clubs: "You Asian guys with your long Fabio hair, the girls love that shit." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Jun and Akio were also still wandering around con. When they all got back, Hut had to re-dye my hair and then we sat down to play Uno and wait for Miya and Jack to get there. I had a few beers, and we were all laughing and having a great time. And then Tai started making up words to Michael Jackson's "Beat It." He was like: "Sa-ma-la-ta-teet-it-beat-it" so some shit like that. I laughed so hard I almost pissed my pants. Miya, Jack, and Bobby got there and then apparently, Art's friends that he was supposed to room with, bailed on him, so Jack asked if he could stay with us. It was cool having everyone in the room. It was a little tight tho. Art slept at Hut and I's feet and I was so worried about kicking him in the head, I hardly slept at all.

Saturday

In the morning, I had to take 2 Excedrin, because I slept like crap. And I keep my Excedrin in a plastic bag and they look like fucking e. It doesn't help that they have "E" stamped on them. Lee also joined us. We all showered and then Miya, Jack, and Bobby had to get their badges and Jack wanted to eat. We all changed into our cosplays. I tried to iron on the emblem on their jackets, but the transfers were too light. We then had to style Tai's wig and the like. We ended up getting downstairs about 2:30-3ish. We were joined by a guy cosplaying Kanon and then some other peeps. Other people recognized Hut from last year and he had some fan girls ask if his Spitfire wig was his real hair. I'm not kidding you, it really did look like his real hair!!!! Pictures were taken and then some really retarded looking cosplayers showed up, including one girl with dyed purple hair, a leather jacket, and jeans, claiming she was a part of our group. YEAH RIGHT. God, I hate cosplayers like that!
Miya joined us and we took some more pictures and then we all wandered around and down into the dealers room. It was cool getting stopped for pics! XD. We all split up, so it was me, Hut, and Miya as we wandered around. The 3 of got hungry, so we went across the skywalk to pick up food. Jack called Miya (he had been in the room sleeping) and she went to go meet up with him, so Hut and I sat next to the waterfall and took some pics. Those pics aren't up yet, because I have to rotate them and stuff. I had a lot of people come up and ask to take my picture. I think it was my boobs. They were kinda in-your-face.
We all met up again, went to the hotel, changed and chilled. We watched TV and had some excellent times. Hut went to the game room and came back because we all decided to go out to Power Plant Live. It was sad that Miya had to go ;_;. So we all took a bunch of group pictures. There are some really cool ones! After Miya left (;_;), we all headed over there. We went to a place called Angel Rock Bar. When I first saw the sign, I swore it said "Angel Cock Bar". Can you tell where my mind is? I had my ID scrutinized at the entrance, because I look like I'm 13 in my picture. I need a new ID. We had a lot of fun, dancing, drinking, talking, listening to Tai make up words to Joan Jett and telling everyone he loved them and how Hut and Lee were his brothers from another mother. LOL. XD The bar closed at 2, so we were walking back, listening to Tai say he was going to punch everything in the dick, including women, the Verizon building, EVERYTHING. Jun was also wearing some smexy heels and doing an America's Next Top Model strut. She looked smexy, as did Toki and Akio. Rawr. Then, when we got to the Inner Harbor, there was a cop and I told Tai to "shhh!" He said okay and was quiet until the cop left then turned to me and said: "Gab, you know I'd punch that cop in the dick!" LOL LOL LOL LOL.
When we got back to the room, Jun and Akio went for a walk around the hotel and Tai ended up in the bathroom. Lee, Toki, Hut, and I played Uno and talked, checking on Tai every once in a while. At one point, Toki and I had to pee so bad, we had to go the hotel's bathroom on the 3rd floor. Hut even tried to bring water to Tai at one point, not realizing Tai wasn't throwing up but actually using the bathroom and in Hut's own words: "I saw the black forest." He immediately backed out of the bathroom, LOL. We all PASSED THE FUCK OUT.

Sunday

That alarm went off WAY too early. I was so sad it was Sunday and the day for us to leave ;_; We showered, packed, loaded up the cars, and checked out. We all headed back to the con for one last go around. I bought some figures and an Orihime cell phone strap. Hut and I then met up with Toki and Tai and got some lunch. We all then met up at the place across the convention center to eat, along with Jun and Akio. It was so sad. I felt sadder and sadder the closer we got to the Hyatt parking garage. I pretty much cried when we all hugged goodbye. I have to agree with Toki, that I now feel closer to everyone than ever. We left around 3pm and got home around 4. I was so fucking sad, that I even cried when I got home. I did not want con to end.

But, on the bright side, we are hopefully going to see everyone in October and then Toki said they would like to come down here for spring break! I'm so excited!!! XD XD I can't wait to see everyone again and party with them and talk to them. I wish we all lived closer to each other, so we could see them on a daily basis, or even on a weekly basis. Thank God for the Internet!

I love old jazz, big band and swing music. The stuff from pre WWII: Benny Goodman and the likes. Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Blanks, Duke Ellington, Count Basie. How cool was "Take the 'A' Train"? Or "Swingtime in the Rockies"? "Daphne"? "Jumpin' at the Woodside"? These people were pure motherfucking musical geniuses, born ahead of their times. My dad loves this stuff and we listened to it a lot in our house.

Go listen to it. I DEMAND it. This stuff is awesome.

So we didn't get to see Dark Knight in IMAX. They were sold out! ;_;

Hut was asked by a friend of his to be in a Indie-type movie and we thought we were just meeting up at Wat Lao (the temple) to meet the director and Hut's friend. But they were actually FILMING. It was hot, I was annoyed and hungry. We got there at 11:30 and didn't leave until after 7pm. Hut didn't even get filmed because the director wasn't sure when he was going to get to Hut's scene. They were too busy trying to make a non-Thai girl speak Thai and she was horrible at it. Ugh. Hut was pissed because his Saturday was ruined, so he grabbed me and left.

On the upside, one of the temple's older monks took a liking to Hut (called him "son") and took me and him on a tour of the temple's property. He was the temple's artist and actually did a lot of the decorations on the temple roof. He gave us icy water (which, after spending hours outside tasted like liquid fucking gold. It was DELICIOUS). Also, the temple became a refuge for wild cats and one of them took a liking to us. Hut and I named him Hide. He was playful and friendly. He wanted to be petted and cuddled. I almost took him home with me. I took pictures of him instead.

Busy weekend so far. Went to Dad's house this morning, he's going to help me re-do my Ringo pants for con. I also got a black Joker shirt and some hot pink Converses. I also got my contacts!! I'm getting my hair done soon and Otakon is coming up!!! WOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOO. Even better is that I get PAID the day before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Dark Knight last Sunday. GO SEE THIS FUCKING MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG, Joker STOLE that movie. And I am not joking. There were times where I wished Batman and Harvey Dent would shut the hell up and get onto the Joker. Seriously. And to think my beloved from 10 Things I hate About You and A Knight's Tale could be so horrible twisted and demented was just astounding. He really did a fantastic job. Rest in Peace, Heath Ledger. Hut and I are going to go see it again soon. I can't wait!!!!

I hate heat

So, Hut and I are recovering from our busy weekend. I am about to get in the shower and he is still at work.
Thursday was his birthday dinner at Clyde's. I got an adorable dress and some AWESOME fushia shoes to wear. Our reservations were for 10:30, but no one showed up until 11pm. Hut was pissed, but he faded into the "What-the-fuck-ever" kinda mood, where he gets all quiet and just shrugs when you ask him something. Mira and Sina were the first to show up, they were all dressed up to go out, so it cheered Hut up to escort 3 fine looking women into the dining room. Mira bought Hut a shot which didn't sit well with him. He had been up since 3am, had no dinner, and the shot was more like a full drink. So Hut got a little tipsy and then Miya, Jack, and company showed up. We ate and drank and left around 1:30-2am. Hut and I went home and PASSED THE FUCK OUT. But not before I gave Hut his birthday present: a Wii!!! XD XD

Friday morning I was up early to start cleaning and doing laundry. Hut and I picked Matthew up and then we had some errands to run. By the time we got back, our roommates' 4th of July party was in full swing, so we ate a little, but the 3 of us didn't really feel like being social to them, so we stayed in our room and played Wii. After watching Fairfax County's fireworks and then Hut's fireworks, Matthew ended up sleeping at our house.

Saturday morning Hut had to work, so Matthew and I just chilled and we took him back home when Hut got off. Then Hut and I went to his gay boss's house for a BBQ which turned out to be super fun. :) We played badminton, had shrimp and scallop kebabs along with bbq short ribs and TONS of side dishes. For dessert we had a fruit tart that Hut and I brought along with fudge and a chocolate mousse cake! Then we had a crap load of fireworks and we all sat around talking until about midnight.

Sunday was Hut's actual birthday (along with Tai's!!!!) and we went to my dad's for breakfast, came home, showered, and then got ready for his party. We had Pad Thai and fried rice. All in all we had Lang, Hieu, Chau, Wade, Boy-Band Andy (yup, we call him Boy-Band Andy-he's not in a boy band, though), and Dan came by. We all played the Wii, watched crazy YouTube videos, had ice cream cake, took shots, and lit fireworks. After everyone left, Hut had to take Wade home, so I cleaned up and was out like a light when he got back.

Both of us were so freaking tired yesterday. I kept dozing off at my desk, plus I had a headache all day. Hut was watching me play No More Heroes on the Wii and eventually passed out on the floor. Both of us got to bed around 10pm. I woke up STILL tired. Ugggghhhhh. And it was hot as shit outside today. DC needs more shade.

So, after trudging through the heat of DC, then I came home and worked out, I'm a little sweaty and slightly odorous.

I am ALL finished with my classes for this semester!!! *air fist pump* I did my final this morning and just finished 2 video cases. WOOHOO!!!

I'm getting ready to go work at that wedding. I'm feeling lazy, but it's a quick $200.

I haven't cut my hair in about 3 months. My bangs are so long and annoying me, so lately I've been pulling ALL my hair back into a ponytail, which I hate because I have got a massive forehead, but it annoys me and it really has no style. Hut said he'd pay for a haircut for me and the dye job for Ringo, but I'm terrified that the people are going to cut to much. I tell them half an inch and they end up taking 2 inches. I also hate myself for being lazy and just pulling it all back.

Hut bought me an iTunes giftcard yesterday so I've been downloading songs like mad, lol. I need to register for Otakon and get the final cosplay. I got the wig and I need to trim it and make some adjustments.

Work sucks. It's hot and I hate these fucking office whores. That and school, which I'm finished with on the 30th! Woo!

Saturday I'm working for my dad's friend. He's a caterer and needs some help with a wedding. It's a quick $200, so I'm down. I think Miya mentioned the beach on Sunday. Thursday the 3rd we're going out to dinner at Clyde's for Hut's birthday. His birthday isn't until Sunday, July 6th. He'll be an old man: 28! ^^

On the down side, my mom called me last night and told me my kitty, my roly-poly Pumpkin-head, has cancer. Last time I saw him he had lost a lot of weight. He's a talkative cat, but Mom says he hasn't talked much at all and hasn't eaten hardly. He used to sleep in the basement, but Mom and Kevin let him have free run of the house, and Mom said he usually sleeps in my bed during the day, but at night, lately he's been sleeping curled up next to her.

I am devastated. I cried for over an hour last night and then I couldn't sleep. Mom is taking him to a specialist tomorrow and I might take off Friday and spend the day at the house, just keeping my Pumpkin company.

All right, thank god for the break in the major heat wave. I thought I would die walking back and forth to work. I've been wearing a lot of skirts to work lately, so that helps.

Hut is at Lang's house...working on his car, which decided to break down AGAIN. So yah, I'm a little peeved because it was working just fine and then he had to go mess with it. Oh well. So I'm home, surfing Ebay for some deals, but haven't really felt anything worth buying. I am going to purchase a cosplay but I'm not telling anyone what it is! It'll be a surprise! ^^

I wanna get a haircut, but my hair is actually growing and is getting long, so I don't want to run the risk of the lady cutting too much. I'm excited for my Ringo cosplay because I'll be able to use my own hair with some extensions and some clip on bangs!

My brother is in town and probably since I don't have to cut my hair, I might go out to dinner with him and my mom. Saturday I'm going to PA and Sunday I'm going to see my dad for Father's Day. So busy weekend for me, but I'm okay with it. I've been a lazy bum the past few weekends, so I'm looking forward to going out. Last Friday I had a wonderful time with Miya and then I got to hang out with her at the store on Sunday, which was cool! ^^ We looked through Japanese fashion magazines.

Okay, going back to Ebay to look for some extensions. I'm hoping to find some cheap ones and then match my hair dye color to them.

It's over 100 degrees here today. And our house's AC doesn't work that well, so our room is probably 80. *sigh* So HOOOOTTT.

Went and saw my dad yesterday. Today I chilled with Miya at the store. Hut and I are home now. I'm doing laundry and Hut is playing Chaos War for PS2, which I think looks really boring, but I don't think Hut wants to admit it, lol. I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei: Raidou Kunzunoha vs. The Soulless Army and Shin Megami Temsei: Nocturne. Hut came down with a stomach virus after eating some fish our roommate's mother made. And I caught a summer cold that I'm just now getting over.

My brother is in town this week, but I won't get to see him until Saturday went I go to PA to see my cousin's daughter perform in her dance recital.

Arrrrggghh, I'm too hot and I am going to go eat ice cream!

Strange dream

So, I haven't been sleeping well these past few days. Last night, this verse wrote itself into my head. It was a lot longer, and these pieces don't all come like this. I took what I remembered and tried to put them together to make some sort of sense. So forgive me if it sounds strange. I really don't remember how it all went. I really don't know what or why my subconscious thought of this. Although, sometimes I have composed some of my best poems this way: through dreams. Sometimes, it's not as obvious as the words just appearing. If fact, most of the times, I just remember images and try to put words to them. I guess its a combination of things that have been working on me: school, loss of sleep, stress, friends, Hut, my happiness, my money situation: the good, bad, ugly, beautiful, thick, thin, everything. All I can hope is maybe I'll be able to sleep well again after finally getting it down on something. I was thinking about keeping it and adding to it. Or, if anyone has a line, they can add to it and create an epic poem.
So here it is in all it's horrid, first draft-ness.

So today was nice and on our way to dinner, we decided to take my car. We also decided to roll down the windows. And that was when my driver's side window BROKE. The fucking mechanism fucking broke. Fucking car. It HAD to do it not only on Memorial Day when no place is open, but on a fucking Sunday evening. So I had to park it in the driveway of our house, which I never do, but I'll be damned if I'll park it on the street. Hopefully, our roommates don't sleep all fucking day tomorrow so I can get out of the driveway and Hut and I are going to try and find a place open. If not, I'll have to fucking drive it to my dad's so he can park it behind his fenced yard and then take it to the Hyundai dealership where we bought it. Which means I will probably either have to drive one of his cars that reeks of 5 years of cigarette butts and drywall, or in addition to shelling out the money to get the damn fucking thing fixed, I'll have to have Hut rent a car for me. All in all, I will probably miss a day a work which I cannot afford. Fucking car. FUCK!!! Why now when I'm flat broke? Arrrrggggghhh! *shakes fist at sky* Hut estimated it'll probably cost me about $200. At least my window pane isn't broken, I suppose, but STILL! $200?????? *glares at her stupid car* I hate that car. I kicked it, which made me feel a little better, but I'm still in a shitty mood. So after Hut found the problem and we replaced my door panel (let me also state for the record: my father was of NO help) I immediately went for some alcohol. I finished two Smirnoff Pomegranate Fusions and right now I am eyeing the mini vodka bottles my grandma brought the legal-aged cousins back from Germany. It looks awfully tempting.

On the bright side, we saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yesterday. I enjoyed it! ^.^ I was pretty pleased with the overall thing (of course there were a few rough patches). I'm glad they brought back Karen Allen to play Marion Ravenwood and not that screaming whore Kate Capshaw (aka Willie Scott...bitch. All during Temple of Doom I cringed whenever she appeared on screen...which was the entire movie. I wanted to slap the bitch.). Although, everytime I saw Shia Lebouf on screen I half expected Megan Fox and Optimus Prime to come blowing up crap. Probably would have made the movie a tad better. And Cate Blanchett makes a pretty good evil, and extremely stereotypical, evil Communist woman. It was weird and her black bob bothered me slightly through the whole movie. And I'm sure you've all heard the story rumors about Area 51 making a scene in the movie. I have to say I kinda thought the part about them escaping out of a temple kinda cheesy...with the CGI and...well, you'll have to see it for yourself, it's right toward the end. You can't miss it. George Lucas and Steven Spielburg sure do love aliens and fucking Area 51, that's all I have to say.

Hut asked me if this was going to be the last one. Now, granted, I thought that Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was a pretty clear enough title to end the trilogy on. Especially since they got 2 out of 3 (again, that fucking whore ruined Temple of Doom for me.). But then they made this one. I sure hope it's the last one. I mean, as much as I love Harrison Ford, the man is in his sixties and probably shouldn't be cracking a whip anymore soon. And I really can't see anyone but him filling Indy's shoes. And I'm not real keen on any "sequels" (aka "prequels") that George Lucas is involved in (*cough* Star Wars 1-3 *cough, cough*). And, no thank you to Shia Lebouf, trying to fill that in. So, please, as an Indy fan, please make this the last Indiana Jones movie! Harrison Ford gave it a great run, and even if they made another one, I'd probably protest outside the local theater if it had anyone else but Harrison Ford staring in it.

Nothing much been going on. Work, school, sleep, that sort of thing. Last Saturday was nice, Hut and I went to the park and sat on a bench by the lake. I'm looking forward to a 3 day weekend!! Woohoo!!! XD

Last Friday we went out to Cafe Asia with Miya and Jack, then went to Clyde's for a late night dinner. That was also incredibly fun. Miya and I hadn't hung out in a while and I miss her. :( I've been so tired lately and sleeping a lot. Hut too. Hopefully once we start getting nicer weather (not cold/chilly/breezy and NO RAIN!!) we'll be okay again.

I'm hoping we'll get to see the new Indiana Jones movie this weekend! I am a HUGE fan of Indiana Jones and I know I'll probably be disappointed with the movie, but I feel a certain duty to go and sit through it, you know?

Speaking of movies, Hut, Nimol, and I went and saw Ironman last weekend. Okay, I was not a huge fan of the Ironman comic books/series. Plus, when I heard they cast Robert Downey Jr as Tony Sparks (aka Ironman), myself and a ton of other people were like: "WTF?" So, I was hesitant to see it, but our IT guy at work demanded that I see it (again, mentioning the fact that I was a gamer nerd, etc, etc, etc.). So I sucked it up and went.

I loved that fucking movie.

I can honestly say that and I don't give a damn if I'm teased to high heaven for loving it. Downey Jr. made an excellent Tony Sparks: witty and sarcastic. There were funny bits, action bits, the tug-at-your-heartstring bits. I FUCKING loved it. I would slap down another $8.75 to see it again in the theater, I swear. And then, since the 3 of us read on Yahoo, we heard that they had a snippet of Ironman 2 (yup, because you know, these damn people definitely counted on people loving the fuck out of this movie.)

If you don't want a spoiler and would rather discover what's going on in Ironman 2 when it comes out in theaters, you can move ahead, past this next paragraph.





SPOILER: Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D. makes an appearance. And you know who they get to play him? None other than Samuel L. fucking Jackson. Yes, that's fucking right. SAMUEL JACKSON. Yeah, bitches. Booyah. Hut was disappointed because Nick Fury is white, but I think Samuel L. Jackson is going to actually be a pretty good Nick Fury. Come on, this bad ass dood had a PURPLE lightsaber. PURPLE. I think he'll do a pretty damn fine job. And if he doesn't, I am going to fly out to CA and kick his ass. SPOILER END.





So there. I am all about Ironman 2. I am also excited about the new Batman movie. Why? Okay, okay, I know Heath Ledger died after filming this movie and of course it's generated a ton of coverage. But his Joker is FANTASTIC. Watching the clips, I think he did amazing. Gawd, I am looking forward to movies. And it's been about damn time!

Ugh, I hate Sundays. Not much has been going on. My stupid Accounting project took over my life and I finally turned it in last Thursday. Now I have my final to study for and I need to pull at least a B on it >.< Pray for me everyone!!!

I have been waaaaaaaay too exhausted lately. My face has been breaking out like crazy. It sucks. About the only interesting thing we've done was Hot Import Night. But even that was "eh". The supposedly "hot" car models were completely fugly and there weren't a whole lot of cars there this time. And I have to say, I have been kind of on edge lately, especially with this project. I've snapped at Hut a lot, even though he was trying to help and I do feel bad.

So this week I have my Accounting final and then I have to take 2 tests for my Marketing class. >.< I can't wait for school to be over...

So right now I'm working on my accounting project. I'm stuck on this one thing, so I'm going to take a break and go get some lunch.

Yesterday was a wonderful day. Despite the fact that I slept like shit Friday night and woke up around 7am. Hut and I got Starbucks and then went up to Tyson's where I got some MAC powder foundation and 2 new eyeshadow colors. XD We stopped by Springfield and I chilled with Miya for a bit while Hut took her car to Jack's mom's house so Jack could put coolant in it. Lang and Nimol met up at our house and then went to Hot Import Night. We got there late and didn't leave until about midnight. Hut saw 2 of his friends who were judges, so we talked with them for a bit. Nimol had left earlier, so Lang rode back with us and we went to Canton Cafe for a late dinner before coming home and passing out. Hut had to work this morning and he won't be back until like 5pm.

And I keep getting headaches. Hut keeps telling me I need to see a doctor about them, but I can't afford to take off work. My mom's migraines are also getting worse. And my grandfather's funeral is this Tuesday at a weird time, so I took the whole day off. So I get some extra time to work on my project. Okay, I'm going to get something to eat.

It's Friday and I'm already exhausted. Work and school has been hectic and I don't think I'm going to catch a break this weekend. Tomorrow I have a baby shower for my cousin Sharon and then dinner with my dad (*rolls eyes* Oh, joy of joys). And Sunday is the Thai New Year and we are going to the temple.

Hut and I got dinner today and then went and had ice cream. XD I LOVE spring time!! It was practically 80 degrees today and I walked to Union Station for lunch. It was wonderful, except for all the tourists. Luckily the Cherry Blossom Festival is over this weekend. But most of the tourists are in town for the Pope's visit. Actually, those who work in DC are dreading the Pope's visit. It's going to be HELL to go anywhere in DC. I don't mean any disrespect to the Pope of course, but my commute is going to suck.

Right now I'm watching Hot Fuzz. I heart this movie! I'm waiting for the movies I ordered off yesasia.com to come in. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow or Monday. They shipped on Tuesday.

Okay, I'm going to lay down. I've been having migraines off and on this week. I need to make an appointment to see a doctor about them. Today it's just been a minor headache, but it's really annoying.

God, I love this weather, having the windows open, wearing flip flops, wearing shorts and tank tops again. Yaaayy for spring and summer!!!!

It's been a busy Saturday. Last night, Miya, Jack, Hut, Zia, Jaysun, Wi, and I went to Cafe Asia and met up with Nan and her boyfriend Viet. It was a great ending to an otherwise shitty day. We had a drink, Miya, Nan, and I took a shot. XD. There was a funny part when this drunk guy stumbled into me and kept slurring "Sorry. Sorry. I'm sorry!" It was kinda annoying and I wondered why he kept repeating himself. I realized why. When he bumped into me, I was standing behind Jack who had gotten up and turned around to do something and then Hut had turned to see who was talking to his girlfriend. The dude thought he was going to get his ass kicked!! Miya and I died laughing. He went to the bathroom and came back to say sorry again and introduced himself to Hut, he was slurring really bad and finally left.

Tonight we're thinking about going to Modern in Georgetown, but today has been really bad for Hut and his allergies. His eyes are puffy and his nose is itching really bad. So we may not go. They had been bothering him all day and when we came back from getting our hair cut, our roommate was mowing the lawn and grass was flying everywhere. And that was then end, LOL. He's down for the count right now. I got him some Zyrtec at Target.

Went shopping with Miya coz I had some extra money saved up to get some spring clothes. I got 2 pairs of shorts (for clubbing), a tank top, and 2 cute pairs of wedge sandals: one gold at Forever 21 and a black pair from Target. XD XD XD

*sigh* I don't think we'll be able to go to Modern, Hut is definitely not doing good. And since we went out last night, he only got like 2 hours of sleep because he had to open this morning. He hasn't been able to sleep.

So the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Tourists are filling DC. It's definitely springtime. School is...eh, well school is school. Working on my project for Accounting and also getting into my Introduction to Marketing class. Hut and Nimol are going ice skating on Saturday, and because I suck at it, I'm going to take an exam. Woo. *rolls eyes*

So I have officially finished the Agent Pendergast series of books. A new one is due out this year, which I am so excited for. I have been playing Final Fantasy Crisis Core like the uber dork I am. Hut and I also want to get the Wii so we can play: Chocobo Dungeon, which looks BAD ASS, by the way. They also remixed a lot of songs for the Wii game, which was cool. So now I'm going back and replaying Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 8 just for the hell of it.

Quick post before Hut and I have to leave, we are meeting one of his co-workers and his girlfriend for dinner.

So unless you live under a rock, you should know that Final Fantasy: Crisis Core came out this week.

I got Final Fantasy Crisis Core on Tuesday.

OMFG THIS GAME IS TEH FUCKING GREAT!!!!

Hut had gotten the Japanese version when it came out originally...but I can read or understand enough. So I was uber excited when the the English version came out.I hate some of the voice overs (like the uber smexy Gackt look alike Genesis) But all in all I am SOOOO happy with it. It is a truly awesome game!!And the summons graphics are great!! Just like the PS2.

And, of course, the uber smexiness of the male characters. I mean, come on, ZACK.*swoon* Gah, he is a wonderful piece of computer generated man whoreness. And then Angeal: very sexy in that older man Auron kind of way, complete with a little stubble. Genesis, who I’ve already established looks like Gackt a bit, so if that tells you anything about his sexiness.*wipes the drool from the floor*

And...Sephiroth. Need I say anything more? That long, flowing hair, gargantuan sword, that attitude, that little bit of chest...AAAAAAHHHHHH *melts* You definitely get some more insight on his character in this game.

Then, the girls. Aerith, especially the moments with her and Zack are pretty touching. But, I’m usually not a big fan of them. I’d much prefer to spend my game time oogling the smexy male hunks.

Little tidbit: my FAVORITE scene involves a fight between Angeal and Genesis against Sephiroth. FUCKING AWESOME SCENE. I created a new save file just so I can rewatch it anytime I want.XD XD XD

Hut picked me up and we went through the Wendy's drive thru where I had one of my absolute favorites: french fries dipped in a chocolate Frosty!! XD Yum.

Saw my mom Saturday. We went and saw a movie and then walked around for a bit. She bought me some new MAC makeup and then I bought 2 new books from the Agent Pendergast series, which means I'm only missing one out of the entire series. Hut went snowboarding all day at Liberty and came back around 11pm and promptly took some Motrin and passed out. Nimol is apparently coming over, but I have yet to see or hear from him, so I'm going to call him.

It was 68 degrees today. EXCELLENT!!!! XD XD I love springtime. I also love springtime in DC. Except for the bums, that's the one part I could do without. It's starting to get cloudy, but I've got the window open to let in fresh air.

I'm getting ready to meet Miya up for Starbucks!!! XD XD XD XD. I haven't seen her in FOREVER!!!!! I'm so excited to sit and chat.

And yes...I am listening to Nelly. I can sing every word. Hut and I are some big fans of Nelly. LOL. I'm starving. I think we're going to have my favorite: pho. YAAAAYYYY!!!!

Okay, you guys all know I like to read. I LOVE to read. But, when I get depressed, I don't just read through novels, I fly through them. Devour them. I recently discovered a series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. They feature a character named Aloysius Pendergast in their novels. A character I can definitely relate too.

Okay, so in the past...I'd say about 2 and half to 3 weeks (I lost count) I have read the following:
Relic by Preston & Child (468 pages-paperback)
Reliquary by above (457 pages-paperback)
The Cabinet of Curiosities by above (629 pages-paperback)
The Book of the Dead by above (597 pages-paperback)
Wheel of Darkness by above (385 pages-hardcover)
The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum (535 pages-paperback)
The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum (646 pages-paperback)
Bangkok 8 by John Burdett (318 pages-paperback)

Which comes to a grand total of 8 books and 4035 pages. I am missing 3 books from the Aloysius Pendergast series and I still need to read The Bourne Ultimatum. I am re-reading The Bourne Supremacy right now and I'm about half way through. I really enjoyed that novel.

Hut has officially labeled me a freak. -.-' I know I'm out of it. But now that the weather is getting better, I know I'll come back out of my shell.

If you guys are bored, pick up one of these. Mostly murder mysteries and such. You guys should try Bangkok 8. It's one of my favorites! ^^

Nothing much to report. Hanging in there I guess you could say. Been working, relaxing. Hut, Nimol, and I went snowboarding again last weekend at Whitetail in PA. Had excellent fun.

My grandpa's funeral is April 22nd. Can you believe it? That's the first date Arlington National Cemetery has open. *sigh*

I am looking forward to Final Fantasy Crisis Core coming out this month for PSP. I'm so bored with all my PSP games. Yay for Final Fantasy!!! XD XD XD Mom and I are also trying to go see The Other Boleyn Girl. Why? Because Natalie Portman TOTALLY FUCKING ROCKS. I heart that girl and I'd totally be a lesbian for her, LOL. It sucks she had to do such a crappy love dialog for Star Wars. Plus she's smart and speaks like 5 different languages.

Anyhoo. Not much else to update. I still hate my roommates. I heart you guys tho!!!

Depressed...

So, after a hard battle, my grandpa passed away last night. He had been in sort of an unresponsive state. He was with family. His sons stepped out for a minute and my mom went to him and told him it was okay to let go. It was as if he was waiting for someone's permission, because he did, around 6pm. Mom and Kevin then sat with him because they didn't want to leave him, even after he passed on.

It's tough to watch someone struggle, waste away, like he did. But he's in a better place now, and I'm happy for it. I cried last night and just hugged Hut and my stuffed tiger. Hut took me for Chinese with Nimol and for some liquor, which helped me to sleep.

Today I went to my aunt's to be with family. I was there almost all day, playing with my 4 year old cousin and my aunt's puppy. It was a wonderful distraction, but now I feel down again, just thinking about it. I guess I feel guilty about having fun so close to a death. It's so odd.

Thank you, guys, for all the supportive comments and help you've given me. I really appreciate it. Hut is going to give me a back rub now, and I've been looking forward to it all day.

OMG, Toki, I LURVE this blog!!! Isn't Toki teh awesome, everyone????!!!! *smooosssshiiiieees* I heart you hun! Gackt is such a perfect male specimen, LOL. Sorry, Hut!! LOL.

I think I had a panic attack today on the Metro coming home. My heart started beating fast, I started sweating and feeling overwhelmed and anxious. It freaked me out. I'm so stressed out lately.

My grandpa is hanging on, but the doctor's aren't very optimistic. I feel horrible: he's in so much pain. He's not even responding to anyone anymore and his body is starting to collapse.

And I'm having bad dreams again. I dream about hospitals, surgeries, blood, anxiousness, and the like. My mom is having the same nightmares too. Plus her job is stressing her out, so I didn't want to tell her about my problems lately.

I have class tonight. Which sucks horrible ass. I hate the class. My teacher is okay, I just hate the subject: Accounting.

Hut and I went snowboarding at Liberty Mountain last weekend for the first time. It was fun, but uber expensive. I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it again, due to our money situation. But Hut and I have decided to save for our own boards so we'll be ready for next season!! I also want to save money for Otakon, so I can buy a few things I've had my eye on. Plus, we need to work on our Persona 3 costumes and I need to touch up my Ringo cosplay. I'm thinking of doing the school girl Ringo. Dunno yet.
