...Art! Cool, surrealistic art. Photograms. Embryonic metaphors and a preoccupation with the beginnings of life. Keen, huh?
Another "I'm lazy" non-link
Yes, I'm bad and evil for not updating in a while. But! Books! Books are good. I got a gift certificate to the bookstore for my birthday earlier this week, so yesterday I bought books. Whee! Jack Kerouac's "Tristessa." Strange sounding book, and I'm always drawn to Kerouac's work. Just the title is neat, it makes me think "Talula" in a completely unrelated train of thought. It's apparently a meditation on - stuff. Terry Pratchett's "The Last Continent." A Discworld novel, because they make me feel all hyper and inspired and I run around giggling insanely. Allan Ginsberg's Collected Poems from 1947-1980. Another beatnick, and probably one of my favourite poets. Just - whee! I need to sit down and just read this one.

This site just makes me laugh. It's well designed and perfect for those moods where I don't actually feel like doing anything, see?
...some music.
Bought in the last few weeks... Tori Amos - "to venus and back" Delerium - "Semantic Spaces" Björk - "Debut" All are definitely worth tracking down at some point.
Bohemian Ink
A very well-designed site, devoted to biographies and electronic reproductions of a large variety of poets and writers, mainly of the bohemian variety - Dorothy Parker, Franz Kafka and Allen Ginsberg, just to name a few. Definitely worth checking out. Gawd. I sound like an Infotainment commercial. Snrk.
Delerium [sic]
Mmn. Techno again. My favourite of theirs is "Euphoric," and more specifically, the track "Grave mentor." Over 14 minutes long. At first I thought I'd be too distracted to listen that long, but man...
Asian Dub Foundation
A rather interesting techno/drum-and-bass group from England. I'm not sure, but I seem to recall someone saying Esthero did vocals for one of their tracks.
