Yeah, finally told my parents about my problem. Can't say everything's fine, but at least it's pretty much all in the open now.

Sorry the last posts were so depressing!

June 20, 02 09:23 p.m.

M's B-day is this Friday (dinner? lunch?). Must work Friday morning. Babysit on Saturday. Monday morning, my first "session". Monday afternoon, meeting with the counsellor. Wednesday, Chemistry final exam.

Urgh urgh urgh. I can't think of a word to describe myself at this moment--without appearing snotty, spoiled and melodramatic.

I told my friend I may have clinical depression, and she laughed.

June 19, 02 06:21 p.m.

Doctors ARE scarry, especially the old stern doctor at the university clinic. He practically glared daggers at me as soon as he saw me! Then I cracked. Eeesh. Well, m'dears, all he did was confirm what I had suspected for a while now, and it's that I have a case of the good old blues. No doubt you've all experienced it (or will experience it) at one time or another, so you'll know that it's not that big a deal. Besides, in my case, it's acute so I'm not really that affected in any sense. OKAY?! No need to be concerned!! Jeez, that sounded a bit melodramatic.

Umm...umm. Oh! Have I mentioned that I got the Gorillaz CD? I don't know what genre it falls under...somewhere between punk/gothic/grunge. It's freakin' fine! Little to no lyrics (at least anything that makes sense), but you can just marvel at the rich sounds. I love it. The last song is great. "Hellooooooooo, is anybody there? He-lloooooo..." Ke ke ke. I don't really get it but it's amusing nonetheless.

Savie, I can't believe those Ignorants said that about anime! Anime is more of an art-form than Britney Spears. Unfortunately, none of my friends agree with me. One friend said "but isn't anime porn?" After sputtering incoherently for a few seconds, I said "no!!" Urg. I hear ya sistah.

Ooops, gotta go.

PS, RUBIE-chan, where are you?? I have an idea that I want to run by you about that post-apocalypse Yuzu x Kamui ficcie. Hope the SAT preps haven't killed you ;_;

June 19, 02 07:52 a.m.

I need to make an impromtu doctor's appointment today--except I hate going to see my doctor ~_~; OMG I'm nervous. I haven't even made the phone call but my heart's pounding. Urgh.

June 14, 02 01:16 p.m.

What a hectic week: midterms, quizzes, labs. I might fail this course. 160 people signed up initially, but I think the class size is down to 100 now.

It's Friday and I have NOTHING to do but studying. I HATE spending Friday nights alone...makes me feel sad and forgotten. And yes, it also becomes the "salt on the wound" (so to speak) on the fact that I'm single single single. BTW, the new Juri, Anthy and Utena layouts @ Storybook are lovely!!

Congrats on finishing highschool! Your first year schedules sounds very interesting. I hope your first year will be better than mine^^.

I was so exhausted after this week, that I came home early yesterday afternoon at around 2 PM. I didn't wake up until 5 AM in the morning. Then I overslept to 9:30 AM this morning!! You wouldn't believe the bizarre dreams I had while in this semi-comatose state. However, the only thing I can remember was Captain Picard yelling at Riker for screwing up an assignment. It's not the first time I've had a dream about Star Trek. Another time, years ago, I dreamt that the Enterprise was underattack by a Romulan battlecruiser that looked like a gigantic dung beetle.

Surprisingly, I'm tired again.

June 3, 02 11:21 p.m.

I look really haggard right now...hair askew, eyes glazed and a tad blood-shot--pretty lip gloss though. Gray sweat-pants rolled up to the knee; I like my marching penguin socks. Chem quiz: haven't studied. Lecture notes: printed, but not read. Thursday Lab prep: just starting. Mental state: calm and fatal. *stretch* *yawn* Screw work, I wanna social blog.

You do not jest! Yes, I am the world's biggest idiot on this side of cyberspace for taking Chem compressed into 6 weeks. Gah. However, I need this credit to take 2nd year biology--which will give me room *next* summer to either 1) travel, 2) complete an English minor or 3) work. Oh WOAH, I'm astounded by the hyper-activity over there! I LOVE your new Miki shrine. I think he's one of my favourite characters on SKU (I also adore Wakaba) and I'm glad he's finally getting some lime-light for a change. Good stuff!!

Another new layout girl! It even features watermelons, the most divine of all fruits by my book...

Di, I did eventually find this site which has all the Cowboy Bebop songs for download--thanks anyway!

Site-wise, I have MUCH TO DO. No joke this time. My Vash shrine will debut soon (promise), in fact, I got a little distracted and made a little sub-page for it: the Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin Conspiracy! Much love and thanks to Leigh for hosting! The rest of the site will be up around end of next week, hopefully ^^.

Eeeps, I also need to find a new home for my collective, Echelon! Would anyone be interested in hosting it? Perhaps?

May 29, 02 07:39 p.m.

I wish I hadn't changed the entry format for this layout...I have a pagename that suits my situation quite well:

I'M TOAST!

Last night I had a memorable dream in which my little cockatiel found a mate who was the size of a small lapdog. Then, I went to do my chem test and totally bombed it. I think I got may a total of 30%, if that. Then, I realized I forgot to print out today's lecture notes, and my stupid bra strap kept falling off my shoulder and I was wearing a bloody tank top! Geez, it was so humid today.

Later in the day, I convinced my Dad to play a round of tennis with me. He killed me on the court!

Blech, I have a shitload of chem stuff to do tonight.

Maybe more later...sorry, I complain SO much.

May 27, 02 09:48 p.m.

AHHHHHH!!!! Chem test in 2 days!

The sparrowhawks arrived today! *bounces like the energizer bunny*

I linked Pam's spiffy blog, everyone check out her awesome domain too, birdangelNET.

May 22, 02 11:23 p.m.

Anyone catch the Enterprise finale?! Well...I *was* going to study at the library until it closes (which is my usual routine) but I got really hungry so I went home early. Got to watch "Shockwave", and it was incredibly good! My particular kind of Star Trek eps are the ones where they have temporal paradoxes and universal catastrophe...and they played it right on cue. Sugoi^^

Ach, I have about 5 layouts I need to code. Ach!

Thank you for the layout comments!! *blooms*

Gawd, I have 6 straight hours of chemistry tomorrow...better go.

May 18, 02 11:28 p.m.

I just saw Star Wars II and it was surprisingly good! Portman was very beautiful...yeah, as beautiful and mechanical as a femmebot. The boy who plays grown-up Anikan was not bad at all. I originally thought he'd be one of those flakey poster boys but he turned out to be a pretty convincing young Darth Vader. He's canadian, eh? *thumbs up*

May 18, 02 01:02 p.m.

The weirdest thing just happened: I wanted to make an entry but I suddenly forgot my pitas password. That's NEVER happened before. Maybe it's because I feel really tired out for some reason. Could be a combo of allergies, cold, school fatigue...ah.

Mwahahha yes higher calculus is the course from hell! I said to myself "Penny, if you passed this course, that would be a miracle, hence, you had better _____ and ____." But now I can't remember what my resolution was! It wasn't "convert" and "pray" that's for sure. I hardly ever make pacts with God. Anyway, I'd always suspected that I had the attention span of a louse. GREAT Karen layout BTW; chocolat brown is a very unusual colour to use for her but you pull it off effortlessly. Alright, more blatherings to come via mail.

You're alive! I'm glad you'll finally be done with highschool soon. I hope prom night goes better for you than it did with me last year (our prom was so very very very tedious, no surprise there^^). "Dreamsong" is my favourite volume of Blade to date. I love Makie's character to death! I heard that Samura has another manga out about a bunch of college peeps in modern-day Tokyo. Sounds pretty interesting. Ah, yes, I would LOVE more Cowboy Bebop MP3s if it wouldn't be too much trouble! I was going to buy some CB, FY and Trig CDs this week but I ended up getting into the second half of Chemistry...which means, I'm about $410 poorer. *weep* I need a job....

Oh, yeah, new Trigun layout! Like it? I do.

[[ LAYOUT ]]

I wanted to do a Subaru layout (since, uh, this blog was named after Tokyo Babylon -_-;) but I ended up with this sleepy Trigun concoction. Thanks Leigh @ Paper Cut for the beautiful scan of young Vash and Knives.
