online since Aug. 30, 01. *wooo! -_-;*
Dear God
I'm really, really dead for Calculus tomorrow. At this point, I'm just praying that I'll get at least 30% on this test so that I can get my credit. I want my fucking credit!!
Ack ack ack--CALCULUS IN 3 DAYS!!!! BIO IN 1 DAY!!!!
Cue doom music. Anyway...blogging time^^
Amy, you got your own domain! Alexiel.net! Oh my God that's so cool; I'm thrilled for you.
I think you're absolutely right about the whole X fandom thing. It seems to me that the fandom has become a lot more cliquey ever since Xtv came out. Speaking of Xtv...to those people who blog to reveal the latest plot twists in the series...put a lid on it! Part of the fun of X is its unpredictable storyline (RE the fate of certain characters), and revealing that Person A dies at the hands of Person C is the nastiest kind of spoiler.
I chose my Subject Post today. I'm signed up to double major in Biology and Zoology but I may change Zoo to a minor. A part of me sort of wishes that undergrad was 6 years--that way, I could major in Zoo and minor in fine arts (or something).
Oh yeah, I also called the museum about volunteering. I paraphrase: "don't call us, we'll call you". Cripes, why is everything so difficult w/ these institutions?
My connection was busted for 2 days. You'd think I would be getting lots of work done, but nooooo, my stupid brain isn't co-operating at all *curses*.
Dad's coming back tomorrow and he's going to be expecting 3 finished mock tests on his desk, just like that. Ack ack ack.
Welcome back Laine! Good luck on your last three exams! I still have 4 left; I won't be finished until early May ;_; BTW, I adore your new layout.
K, are you actually reading my blog? Are ya?! Err...doesn't look like I'm doing any more studying tonight. CU tomorrow bright and late. Think we'll run into more late LPers?
Paul, even the prospect of Trigun (original) eps wasn't enough to tempt me to take that ONE hour down to the campus. Main campus is just too f*cking far for me--now if only I could convince my parents to sell our house and buy a smaller one downtown, then UTARPA would be so much more apealling. How do you manage it?
I'm just about pooped. I also need to majorly work on those ENG mocks. *whew*
It's a beautiful day outside, I just want to go down to Chinatown and shop for...frilly vintage, yummy chinese and anime stuff. BUT----
I have a million pages of exam materials to study for! *spazz* I also tried to sign up for the second half of Chem online but it said was full. Huh? I thought, but isn't this the first day for summer course enrollment? It was. I dunno, I'm very confused. Maybe I should just go down to campus and talk to my Registrar. Oh yeah, I also have a HUGE fine at Robarts. Booohooooo.
Over here Wrenkin! Why didn't you tell me you had an online journal?! Next you'll be telling me Roy is online too...oh wait, he is. Mind if I link?
Amy...ummm...I guess we all have different standards for ourselves but I think an 89% in Art History in university is an amazing mark! I *wish* I was doing so well with my work.
Oh yeah, I got (via Mom) the new Pink CD. There are some good songs there, but it wasn't consistent. Well, that's just my opinion.
I'm not 20 yet but I already have white hair. A lot of...white hair. I'm graying; and now, when I smile I have these two little creases at the corners of my eyes. Yeah, and Cher hasn't aged for the last three decades.
First off...congratulations Di for getting accepted to all those universities! Were you nervous when your first acceptance letter came? Last year this time, I was getting my acceptances too. I remember it was Queen's who sent me the letter first. I also remember DISTINCTLY that I was in the middle of writing a message to Laine when my Dad called me up. Guess what the message was about. University acceptances. Mwahahahaha. I wanted to go to Queen's but my parents were DEAD set on me going to U of T so I did. Did you know that insulin was invented at the U of T? That's a daunting standard to live up to. There's a lot of pressure to be exceptional here, e.g., just walking down campus you see these banners of famous alumini smiling down at you. "First female astraunaut...nobel prize winner...prime minister..." AHhhh!!! I feel so...very small ;_;
I'm wearing a (clean) black sweater. Now that's a rare thing, and what does my bird do? Scoot and poop. *a nerve ticks*
I get those soft-porn spams as well! That's why for personal use, I'm only using my yahoo account. I alsol like how they don't ever delete your account.
Well, Paul, another weekend has passed. NEway, I'll mail ya back tonight.
Hikari, I'm glad you can say that about my fics...personally, I'd like to chuck them out the nearest airlock.
Lookie, I made a spiffy Stigma layout for the clique but I don't want to actually sit down and code it. I love making layouts but hate coding/uploading them, blah. Ohh...I've also found out a bit more about the Stigma: main character's name is Stork.
Oh man, I skipped my math lecture to study for the dinky math quiz (at least I got perfect, eh?) but now I feel so guilty 'cause I haven't been to math for...errr...weeks. The gauche prof can't teach for her life. I think it's really stupid how they hire top researchers to be our science profs, but they hire barely out of grad school idiots for math.
Gotta chose subject POST, like now. I'm probably going to major in Biology and minor in Zoology. I just hope I can somehow get out of taking a botany course (that's the single most tedious subject in the world IMO).
Lyn,I'm so happy that you actually *like* the Kamui button; and of course you can take it!
Does anyone know what Stigma (the colour manga) is about? I'd never even heard of it until I saw the layout at this domain, and then I saw an image gallery up at E Renaissance. Hmm...I love the illustrations. They're fair screaming to be made into wp/layout >:)
Lookie here, Rubie gave FeffiCOM a facelift! I love the dark colours. U know, it suddenly hit me that you seem to have a soft-spot for making layouts of little deprived boys (Antidote, Demons) XP.
Everyone check out Sav's newest project, Omnipresent! It's a very spiffy Ani-manga review site (it's open, but only 1 review up^^;;). I'm signed up to be part of the staff along with Laine. Check it out!
Ack, I got back a grand total of $4 from the government in taxes. I'm surprised I even got that much considering I don't even have a job. It's rich, no?
I whipped up a new layout for April! It's REALLY simple I know, but I so love Vassily Kandinsky's works. I updated the links...I had to delete a few of the links because 1) it was dead and 2) I didn't like the blog anymore. Hope no one is insulted: sorry. On the subject of linking...I linked 2 new blogs! I've long admired Hikari's collective and blog...and Lilack sounds like a cool person. She was born in China, I was born in China. She's 19, and so am I ^_^.
My two school presentations went really well even though I prepared them like an hour before it was due. You know, this girl who was in my group talked a lot of BS but I couldn't contradict her because she was in my group, so if I did, the entire group would have ended up with a low group participation mark. C'est la vie.
Loookie, Mary got a her own domain! Congratulations my friend!
It's such a beautiful day outside! I think I'm going to go to the museum and do my bio ISU. I just wish my sunglasses weren't in 3 pieces though *sigh*
NEway, when I get back, I plan on doing a bunch of site stuff (not to mention a huge pile of Calc hm, eeeeeek!).
