[music|Yuki Kaijiura, Deb Lyons - Fatal Fight (Jin & Margulis)]

So yanno.

Was thinking of cutting my hair but well.

I tried on sis' pink BTSSB Alice print beret and errr..
HOMG
I look effing cute?

Seriously, scary shit.

It was -strange- to say the least.

So my sis is insistent on getting me hairbands...

Mugged yesterday away which resulted in a pounding headache and looked through sis' fashion pics, trying to pry away from an AP dress (especially those on Y!J)

After tuition I went to TP to meet cyn and sak (who was late, as usual) we sort of managed to cramp some things in, before sak came. Played Bleach Heat the Soul 3 and LocoRoco on my PSP. Haha, laughed at all the ridiculous alternate costumes in HtS and the pink!LocoRoco. Much fun to watch sak sew my bag who forgot to bring her scissors so she borrowed and used the MOS kitchen scissors... Hopefully I'll get it back before the new term starts. Belted to Tegomass. for some strange reason we just launched into the chorus of Kiss ~ Kaerimichi no Love Song (which was being played on sak's phone) neee~<33333
Sekaijyuu wo teki ni shitemo kimi wo mamoru yo
I LOVE YOU Kotoba wa iranai yo
Kimi ga saigo no kiss
itsumademoooooooo~~~~~~~

MOS milk tea, fries and curry croquette burger which fondly reminds me of the times when we always hung out at TP MOS after school. Mon always liked the round tables, I haven't seen her at all. I think she's in Malaysia. Ah well. Maybe we should meet up and go KKnM this sat... Then I can walk to Ms Ving's house for tuition from there. Hmm, we'll see.

By the way, haha Toroi-san thinks tesshi is cute XDDD He's become such a slut, although I saw recents pics of him on tegoshi_daily, his hair o.O It's ridiculously entertaining to see 2 guys singing a love ballad to each other, sort of. Although tesshi's shirt is fugly. Youtube it! here

Shenmue music is hard to find. Blah. I've never heard of the game till Play!

Had an amusing convo with kor last night. He misses bearbear and ninja cat, and thinks its blasphemy that sis has both of them.

Stuff Toys War.

I think I shall bake a lemon cake today. Hmm, a bit lazy to go get ingredients though.

Spent the morning lurking about some schoolmates blogs. BWAHAHA. Even though I feel inadequately prepared, reading their blogs usually makes me feel better, somehow. Oh yeah, I'm eviillll.

Which reminds me of Luca Blight. Yesterday Toroi-san and I were comparing notes on S2. LOL Fav Narcisst? Fav Strategist? I'm such geek.

[music|The Black Mages - 再臨:片翼の天使(Live ver.)]

I went for Play! A Video Game Symphony.

Rabid fangirl moment

IT WAS REALLY DAMN GOOD

Unfortunately I was late so I didn't get to hear the fanfare for Play! A Video Game Symphony composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

It was kind of strange to listen to a full orchestra perform Super Mario and Sonic. And really super cool!

Ahem.

Song list of first half:
Play! A Video Game Symphony Fanfare
Super Mario Bros. Suite
Shenmue and Shenmue II Sedge Tree
Lost Odyssey Main Theme
Sonic the Hedgehog Suite
Metal Gear Solid Main Theme
Blue Dragon Main Theme
Kingdom Hearts Suite Final Fantasy VI Dancing Mad

From the first half I really liked Shenmue which was unexpected. I wanted to cry when they started Hikari - KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental Version for the beginning of the KH suite. But what was seriosuly super cool?

OMGWTFBBQ.

They performed Dancing Mad from FFVI
Dancing Mad by the way was actually is a the song played during the final battles with Kefka. Did I mention that FFVI is my all time favourite FF by far? It was really damn good. And the solo organist deserves some credit because it's not easy to play Dancing Mad (go listen to it yourself here all the 17+min of its glory) It was surreal to hear a full orchestra perform it.

Intermission. Yes there was one and the funny thing was that everybody was too busy with their PSP/DS, and so I was like "OH YEAH" whipped out PSP and started playing LocoRoco. I already love these people. I saw someone playing VP, someone playing Katamari, Burnout Dominator, FF anthology... It was really hilarious.

Takenobu Mitsuyoshi was in the audience and he personally performed the theme for Daytona USA on piano and the vocals. It was so much fun. He had brought a Sonic plushie which he propped on top of the piano while he performed and later threw it to the audience.

I was sitting right behind the guy who got the plushie. It was meant for me. The guy was damn tall and just reached out to grab it. Damn.

Song List of second half:
Daytona USA
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Suite
Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger Suite
World of Warcraft Suite
HALO Suite
Castlevania Suite
Legend of Zelda Suite
Final Fantasy VII One-Winged Angel
Encore: music from Shinobi

The chorus was performed by the NUS choir. It's not much, just a lot of 'ah's but I thought they were really good (together with the orchestra) in HALO which unfortunately made me feel that it was the best song performed that night, Arnie Roth's familiarity really shows.

Although my personal favourite would be the Chrono series suite and the unexpected favourite would be Shenmue. The music overall was awesome, I guess they realise that the VGM fanbase would have been pretty pissed off should they screw up and everybody knows everybody in the gaming world. Although it was really amusing to see some performers looking really happy in some of the songs...

I've never played Lost Odyssey or Blue Dragon both for Xbox 360 so it was nice to hear its music since I'm not getting an Xbox 360 anytime soon, although I've seen the releases of the raw of the Blue Dragon anime. The main themes of both games were composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

The three screens behind the orchestra were unfortunately rather small. However they were reminders of how the gaming world has evolved. Seriously. Gameplay of Mario on NES and seeing Link as a 2-D sprite then gameplay vids of Ocarina of Time. Really cool.

Oh and I bought this there. Couldn't resist mate.

Okay. Fangirling session over

Went to school alone yesterday to mug because Aysha had to accompany her mother to meet her relatives. Completed some more maths for Ms Ving. Went home, changed and went out for lunch. I had AWESOME chirashi. Yes. Very good. No words can express it.

Went to Provence for milk pan. I've been eating a lot of it lately, must be because of terms ;____;

Going to mug, again.

[music|Tegomass - Kiss ~Kaerimichi no Love Song~]

Monday was just a really bad day. Not keen on talking about it.

Went to school to mug as usual on Tuesday. Then tuition. Nothing interesting. Oh found out that Jia Jun was back.

Met Cyn at Kino after getting tickets. Hung around while waiting for everyone else to come. Went to watch PoTC 3, finally with Kiwi, Cyn, Sak, Sis and Audy-sempai. Ate subway for lunch and had a large MOS milk tea<33 Stole Gyoza from Sis.

Sak and Cyn being meccha meccha kawaii. We're seriosuly ghei.

Audy-sempai being uber kakoi.

Ho Ho!
Went to school to mug again, today was very productive. It seems that we mug really well on days that we are doing bio. We were slient. Mostly. Grabbed coffee during a break and also headed to the General Office with Aysha who needed to pay for her school fees. Looked at the Lost and Found box.

Ahem

Anatomy of the Lost and Found Box.
Spectacles, swimming googles, watches, jewellery, pencilcases, thumbdrives(!), calculators, files, whatever. It's a strange box with all sorts inside. Seriously, scary. People really can lose things easily.

Was really tired so went home to rest before I die during chinese tuition later.

Was pleasantly surprised by Fiona who apparently saw me leaving school. She was on a 198 across the road :D

Called by MJ who had lost her math file so I'll be meeting her tomorrow to lend her my notes to photocopy. Poor girl, she must be hysterical losing her math file before terms.

Had lunch and wagashi that sis bought for me.
Kuzukiri

It's arrowroot jelly with kuromitsu, brown sugar syrup. It's like eating konnyaku jelly noodles with honey. It's really good on a hot day

The jelly was in the tube-looking container and it came with a handle which you put into the container like this:

Pressing the jelly out on the other end which has a grid, cutting the jelly into thin, noodle-like strips.

I really should be mugging.

[music|Rie fu - I wanna go to a place...]

Meccha Ureshiiii~<333
Ok. I've finally got down to watching all those Lovely Complex eps on my comp. HOMG. LIEK I HEART<333333. I'm addicted. It's not yet licensed by You-Know-Who so I'll keep following it :D

My siblings and cyn came back on Wednesday which promptly got me in a good mood although I was still pissy over my sore throat and lousy nose. Not to mention extremely drowsy because of clarinase and barely sane.

Spent Thursday and Friday mornings mugging with Aysha. Frankly speaking, we are such losers. Who comes back in the second week of the holidays to spend their days mugging? Us.
Yup.
We're losers. Although I think we've established that during pre-u sem.

Studying with Aysha is very pleasant which usually consists of bashing, thrashing, bitching and some actual absorption of syllabi. Especially bio which seems to be unusually productive but maths was so dry that we decided to end earlier than usual.

Met Cyn yesterday at Provence after studying with Aysha. I MISS MY MILK PAN. I haven't had it since last Tuesday, can you imagine the horror? Milk Pan-less for 10 days. So I had a milk pan and tea. We btiched/whined about You-Know-Who, fangirled over GEASS/KH/whatever and generally did things we'd do back at IJ rooftop. natsukashii~ Tsu pang seh-ed me and I still got her a mont blanc. Cyn came over and we played Katamari and GGX. We did everybody's instant kill and whatever else. When Melsie comes back, I'm going to organise (somehow) some PS2-ing marathon at either my or her place.

Life has been more entertaining with my siblings back in the house XD And it just recently occured to my mom that my siblings won't be coming back at the same time when they're studying overseas. My sis has a longer holiday towards the end of the yeat and my bro's holidays are mostly in the summer period. Somehow, I have to rotate between travelling up (and rotating between UK and Aus) and them travelling down.

I would like to go to London. Never been there. It'll be ridiculous to go there in December, too damn cold, unless I go there next year in June. A levels anyone?

It's been a really hot day and the sky is an intense blue. Very pretty. Thank god we have cold rocher road tau huay in the fridge.

[music|Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra - Passion~Kingdom Orchestra Instrumental Version]

Had a 3 hour revision of the past year's econs syllabus. My nose was slightly runny and I had an awful sore throat. Thankfully the honey and lemon strepsils kept me awake.

Met Auntie Bobbie for lunch at Kuriya. Had soba and sushi which was really good, also not too damaging to my throat. Grabbed Beard Papa a cream puff for dessert and looked around the supermarket. Chilled out at her place which was really nice. She's got a roof garden and a beautiful view. It's near the sea so the sea breeze was great. It reminds me of Phi Phi Island (again!). Her house is such a great chill out spot. Played on her spanking new german piano<333 and had a nice afternoon tea. I wished my nose wasn't blocked then maybe I might have picked up the smell of the sea, I don't know but there is something very calming and nostalgic about it. It makes me more relaxed. It's probably because of the Phi Phi island holiday I had 3 years back.

Which reminds me of Ferran Adria (watched Decoding Ferran Adria, again! last night) Smells and tastes that remind you of your memories yet you're experiencing something new. I'd like to eat at El Buili before I die. It's magical.

Mom came back from Pakistan yesterday morning, just after I left for school. She came home with packets of basmati rice.

Went to Kino this morning. There was not much sun, very windy and slightly chilly. My sore throat is gone but now I've got a runny nose. I feel like I've blown my brains out through my nostrils. The bus ride to town was unusually nice today, not too noisy, not too crowded and generally rather pleasant. I've ditched FFIX (my last save was at Ipsen's Castle) to play BOTH Valkyrie Profile Lenneth and Suikoden II. Toroi-san would be so proud (fellow suiko maniac) :DDDD

Walked around Kino aimlessly, finally decided on a natsumatsurithemed letter writing paper after godknows how long. I saw beautiful hydraenga paper which was unfortunately in pink. Hydraengas may be my favourite flower but no way was I going to buy them in pink. I wished that had violet/blue/white ones. I would have stockpiled them. Then went to Art Friend to get my thin wire for the Art Soc sculpture. I really wonder if we're going have a session so I can go back and complete it.

Came home and had lunch before baking.

Ahem.

Sachertorte sure to cure your flu!

Since I didn't take any photos of the 饺子 I made on monday I just felt like making a chronicle of what I do usually when I bake.

There isn't much countertop space in the kitchen so I end up using the dining table, also because the free power outlet is there.

Introducing, Philips Cucina! I didn't own a electric mixer till last year when Mom won it in a lucky draw during her company dinner and dance. Previously I would beat/whisk/mix my hand, whisking egg whites were a nightmare, We'd end up rotating duties like I'd whisk for some time then pass it to my sis (and her amazing arm strength thanks to all those Lit essays) or Auntie. Oh and the free power outlet.

The mixture before it's in the oven

After washing up, while waiting for the cake in the over, I always have a nice afternoon cup of tea. Umm, the tissue box and the vicks aren't usually there. It's only because I've got this damnable flu. LOL was reading 8days food review. Anyone wants to go eat gyoza soon? The shop serves relatively affordable food and I haven't eaten gyoza in a long time.

When it's baked and cooling. My sacher tortes always end up cracking, it never happens to my other sponges.

Frosted! It's to the refridgerator so we'll eat it tonight. I think I'll bring some for Aysha and maybe Carol if she's going to be in school.

Sachertorte is one of my sis' favourite cakes, her favourite cake being the mont blanc. I like the sponge, it's no too sweet and it's soft and light. A bit dry but it's made up by the icing/glaze. I generally bake better than I cook, baking is more of a science and cooking requires good functional tastebuds, what I currently don't have. Baking makes me happy and generally put me in a good mood. I was rather grouchy this morning after being rudely awoken by my mom's hairdryer and the fact that I lacked cash to splurge on pretty paper.

I don't remember when or why I took these photos, it's all very random. I think it was sometime back, on a day when it rained. Maybe a week ago?

The view from a the computer chair.

It was a rather gloomy day wasn't it? But I like it when it rains.

The blooming orchids, they always seems to be flowering.

Sweet pea. I'm surprised they haven't withered in the Singapore sun.

My chili padi, always eaten by those really cute and adorable small sunbirds.

Tama-chan is sitting on my PSP. He used to be tsu's pincushion. He's so adorable although he needs a wash quite badly. It's into the merry-go-round I say.

kuroPWN, my darling PSP. It seems I was playing Burnout, LOL. When am I not?

The comp and several artefacts surrounding it, like my wallet, complilation of my SGmates memos to me and my rubric's cube. I learnt to solve it when I was sec 2 and we were fanatical. It was crazy.

I have no idea how the plant is growing there. I think so seed got into a crack on the balcony floor or something. How it survives, it's uncomprehensible.

Ok, so quiz time! Which picture is melted chocolate?

A, or

B?

Just post your answer on the tagboard by Sunday. I'll bake another chocolate cake or cookies next Wednesday for the first person to get it right. LOL
Have fun~

Cyn, tsu and kor are coming home today. I really looking forward to seeing them. Sak left this morning for China. I should have just spent my whole day in the airport and see everyone.

It's been more than I week since I had a milk pan. Oh the horror! I'm positively suffering from withdrawal symptoms I really should drop by Provence soon

[music|Anberlin - inevitable]

A sore throat puts me in a bad mood, generally. My tastebuds have gone haywire so I can't cook and it hurts when I talk. The most efficient way to communicate is MSN but it's all in the timing. When I just got online, cyn had to leave. Muuu ;__;

Did some work in the morning and it was off to Bukit Batok. I've never been to the HDB area of Bukit Batok. It's different, much quieter than Toa Payoh and Ang Mo Kio, both of which I'm more familiar with; been in TP for 10 years and my grandparents live in AMK. 老师 taught me to make 饺子. The whole recipe. Didn't bring a camera so I haven't got any photos.

Filling First mince the leeks, red onions and ginger with the minced pork. It releases the flavour and fragrance of the aromatics into the meat. Then marinate with pepper, dark and light soy sauce, hua tiao jiu, all-spice powder, a bit of salt and sugar. Heat sunflower oil in a wok till you see smoke rising then turn the heat off, let it cool before mixing it in. Cut a LOT of chives and put on top of the marinated meat. Don't mix yet till you add sesame oil. The oil apparently draws out the moisture from the chives and ensures the filling doesn't get watery. Mix well.

Skin it's 2 parts flour to 1 part water and a tablespoon of salt (which prevents the skin from tearing) Knead to form a elastic and smooth dough. Flour the work surface well. Roll into a tube-shaped thingy about 2 inch in diameter. Cut 1 cm discs, rotate the dough after each cut to make sure you get a round-ish shaped piece of dough. Flour the pieces and rolling pin and lightly flatten each piece of dough. Apparently there are 2 ways of rolling out the skin. Umm.. it'd kind of hard to explain but one involves both hands the other just one. First way (the kind you see at restaurants), hold the piece of dough with one hand and the other hand holds the rolling pin. The hand rotates the dough with the other rolls to form a nice circle. Second way (which is much easier in my opinion) hold the ends of the rolling pin with both hands. Pivot one end by putting more force on it and the other just rolls the pin. Somehow, the dough will naturally rotate and form a nice thin circular skin. But it takes some practice.

Stuff the skins with the filling to form a nice curry puff-like shape.

Boil a large pot of water. When in boils, add the uncooked 饺子 and cover. When the water boils again, add 1 cup of water. Repeat this 3 times. Fish the 饺子 and serve with black vinegar, sliced ginger and freshly chopped chinese parsley/coriander. EAT.

OMG. I had a whole plate of 饺子 for lunch :DDDD IT WAS AWESOME. Other than the fact I rolled all the skins and chopped all the chives. It was really fun so I might make 饺子 some time soon. Maybe next Sunday.

Had tuition proper after lunch.

Walked to the bus stop after the rain. It was nice, not too hot and the sky reminds me fondly of Phi Phi Island.

I need to go overseas or something.
A weekend away maybe?
Somewhere with a beach would be nice.

Going to make a layered chocolate cake on Wednesday with filling and everything because, well, I miss baking and I need to make up for all the times I didn't bake this year. It's almost like I never baked this year. Hmm. I don't think I have! Baked properly that is.

Which reminds me, I would like to grab a slice of carrot cake sometime.

And since everyone is typing in caps on my tagboard,
OMG LIEK SRSLY I'M SO EFF-ING SLOW. AUDY TAGGED SOMETHING LIKE WE'D SEE EACH OTHER AT SOME CAMP THINGY BEFORE AND I TTLY DIDN'T KNOW SHE WAS REFERRING TO PRE-U SEM.

Yup. Was looking through my tagboard's archives.

lol. shikatanai~

O RLY?

[music|Blasting random VGM]

Let me drown in random VGM on my playlist. I can't believe I forgot! And I read in the newspapers that tickets for PLAY were out though that was about a month ago?

They're performing the KH and Chrono series suites ;___; Hearing a choir sing 'Sephiroth' every third line would really give me some kicks :D But yanno, no tickets.

And I was right. I'm sick. My thorat feels like I just swallowed sawdust, got icky phlem running down my throat and everything tastes weird.

[music|Beat Crusaders - Hit in the USA]

This song brings back memories. Mrs Selvam's Chem classes at night with the crew in AVA room, and she'll give out Marks and Spencer wine gummies. I haven't gone back to IJ since the release of the O Level results.

I kind of would like to go on a holiday but my trip to China was cancelled on the fact that Dad's not there and it's much too troublesome. I'm pretty much guessing that I'll never be stepping into Zhu Hai anytime soon. As much I wouldn't mind going there to work after my As, I'll probably survive but I don't know how long I'll be able to tolerate ahem

on another note,

OMGWTFBBQ.
My take is, if ODEX want people to buy their products they seriously need to improve their subbing standards. And get a website for heaven's sake.

I'm going to raws or something because I can't stand VCDs, it's DVDs or nothing. Or just stick to reading Random Curiousity. Omni, I swear my loyalty to your animeblog here and forever more.

I swear I'm falling sick soon. My throat feels like shit and I've got a stuck nose or something like that.

I have this strange urge to play Warcraft. Not to mention I was in desperate need to watch/play something trashy, like FFX-2 anyone? Played it yesterday for kicks. Tried to play Shining Tears which was really bad. Basically yesterday was like a 'catching up' on the games scene. I'm really looking forward to the remake of FFT on PSP. I pray it doesn't disappoint. Watched the KH2FM+ optional boss battle with Terra on kh-vids.net (got to love those people). Remember I said something like Sephiroth was too damn easy? Finally there is a boss who kicks your ass hard and painful. Damn it, I want to get a hold of final mix+ except my wapanese is to shit to even try to play it. I remember trying to play KH2 JP last year and I only managed up to Port Royal which was the 4th world? I PHAIL. I'm rather tempted to play MMORPGs but they'll pretty much suck out (what's left) of my time.

Going into slacker mode tomorrow before I start my mugging marathon. And I'm absolutely positive that I'm falling sick.

Should make a visit to KKnM soon and stop by the comic shop there to pick up Gorgeous Carat 4 and look at all the pwetty merchandise.

Oh, and I need MOAR PWETTY PAPER. No really, was looking all over my table on monday for paper of the right size to attach to the honey pocky boxes for the choir people and I used the last of my venetian note paper. I'm such a paper-whore :D Hmm, haven't been to Bugis either for sometime.

OHMAGAWD. SG outing next Sunday! I'm looking forward to it. It's strange, never thought I'd be so bonded with them. And watched my own project, laughed my guts out again at how ridiculous my acting was.

Tomorrow is the Anberlin with Copeland concert at the Pavillion. I haven't got anyone or the cash to go for it ;___________;

[music|Angela Aki - on & on]

I saw this gorgeous pair of shoes by gouk. I'm really tempted, wantsss. Kind of poor would be appropriate. I have been told that the shoes are fugly. .___. I like the print though

I was feeling very 'unaya-ish'. Still, a bit though. Maybe because I've be off JE, yaoi_daily, gamespot or godknowswhatelse for sometime. I miss the crew too. I can't even remember the last time I touched the PS2. I think it was on Good Friday when Melsie and Sak came over to play katamari.

I really want to go back to baking, except, I haven't got anyone to feed. I'll bake cookies when tsu and kor come back.

Today's sky reminds me of blue ajisai

I've always liked them. The ones of a lilac hue

Much awaited entry!

Pre-University Seminar
was an awesome experience. I've never been happier. I absolutely love my SG. They are are terrific bunch.

Seminar Group 24

Stoned on the bus journey to NTU. Checked in the morning to NTU Hall of Residence 15. I was actually a bit upset about staying alone having been assigned a single room

But it turned out okay despite lacking company. Generally by the time I enter my room, I'll just stone eventually concuss and KO-ed. I only stayed in my room for a few hours, I slept only for 4 hours every nightmorning and basically only came into the room to sleep.

Day 1 Played icebreakers and generally a get-to-know session with the other members. Promptly did a fangirl worthy scream on seeing Audy-sempai<333! Had lunch and it was off to meet the 'food lady' (quote Tim, our SG leader) Ms Violet Oon.

At PJC's conference room to meet Ms Oon. She had very interesting and strong opinions which turned out surprisingly insightful although there was no food ;__;

At PJC canteen stoning with Aqilah from AJC who is holding up her door sign

Claire, the closet bimbo! LOL, she's from Hwa Chong and it hilarious when she does 'Oh my gosh' with actions and all. Claire and Aqilah are roomies. We finally decided to getting down to doing work and coming up with a skeleton of our project.

Had Animagine workshop in the night, it was an utter waste of time because of technical difficulties etc. But when we finally got to doing the animation and trying out the software, it was really fun. Cleaned up and went for debrief session with our SLOs (Student Liason Officers) who by the way is a lame and funny bunch! I totally KOed that night.

Generally, the institute attire becomes your good friend and AC rules state that we cannot take of the blazer. Every morning you'd see a bunch of ACJC people crowding under the fan which is aptly known as the artic circle where we tell each other, 'Think cool' and start gossiping. I'm always there because my group's table is just in front of the stall which makes toast, in other words : it's hot and stuffy. I sometimes end up outside talking under the tree where it's surprisingly cooler than the canteen. Then we'd take a bus to Nayang Auditorium for Panel Discussion or to Leture Theatre 19/20 for Parallel Presentations. The days are mostly in this order: wake up, breakfast, parallel presentations, tea, panel discussion, lunch, prep for project, dinner, more prep and finally lights out.

Opening Ceremony at Nayang Auditorium

Nayang Auditorium

I didn't sleep at any of the presentations/panel discussions at all. Not even on bus rides.

Ahem. Panel Discussion
I tried to pay attention then eventually gave up and started stoning. Sometimes we'd start gossiping but mostly,

people would sleep.

Sean and Stan, they look damn cute when they're sleeping (together no less! :D)

More Sean and Stan sleeping during Panel Discussion. I think they slept during Panel Discussions the most. I have more pictures of people sleeping... But I haven't got the bandwidth to upload all

Poor Christine (SLO), she stayed up the night before with us during editing/filming.

Priscilla, my 'bimbo' accomplice sleeping in LT 20 inbetween presentations.

I think it was Tuesday night when we filmed. It was hilarious! And ridiculous. I had to act as some 'diva' nutritionist and had some many NG scenes, although even though everyone tells me that I was damn cute in the blur moments and that they had a liking for watching the scene with me in it... I never got to see my own NGs. I must have sucked or something. Eventually went over to see Sean and Stan, who are the pros, to see because I was curious. I was like WTF!? That's me?! HOMG. OH THE HORROR. Yeah, pretty much. Went back to Marv's room where we were playing Tai Di/Bluff and stood in one corner to laugh my guts out (literally). It was freaking ridiculous and somewhat embarassing.

Playing Newater drinking games! We had so many empty newater bottles, Aaron arranged his like bowling pins

Everybody on the night we were chilling out and playing games.

We didn't get into the Project Showcase which later turned out to be a blessing, we were pretty disappointed. I was really disappointed. But it was so much more rewarding to be with my group and not tear each others hair out and harbour animosity because we all really did our part, every single one of us. It surprised me, I never thought it'd worked out this way, but it did. Now, I miss them. In AC, I'm always detached and I choose to completely shut myself off because I just don't like it (will talk about that another time) I always constantly refer to myself as some random person in an AC uniform. And my SG thinks I'm atypical AC. I'm so not atypical AC. No money? Check. No drawstring? Check. Not pretty? Check. No short skirt? Check. Doesn't really care for school spirit? Check. Doesn't check appearence at every reflective surface? Check. And honestly, how many girls do you know carry a PSP wherever they go? (And I was really tempted to bring mine to Pre-U sem)

Get my drift?

With that aside, as much as I like to say I slack, frankly I don't. Because I can't stand dumb, ignorant, inefficient and people who have low standards sitting on their fat asses on the top. Really, CANNOT STAND IT. And because of this, I'm doing a very poor job of slacking as I'm inclined to always improve things thus dragging myself into more activities. Although, must learn to resist! Less is more, remember?

I don't know why but I just don't feel sociable in AC, I just give the necessary, no more no less.

I was really happy at Pre-U sem. I miss it so badly.

Maybe I'm just prejudiced. And biased and partial and perhaps harbour some intense undefinable dislike for AC. Or, I'm just too stoned it school to care. There was this thrill to be away from school to meet a bunch of strangers who turned out to be an awesome lot who brightens my day. And all the internal gossip is interesting! LOL.

Aaron and Tim (group leader) Tim is an awesome group leader and Aaron was just damn fun to gossip with other than the fact that he wrote our script (with the OMG :D)

our F4! LOL the poly guys. THEY ARE THE COOLEST BUNCH EVER. (from left) Zi You, Marv, Stan and Sean. I don't think our group could have worked out such a great project without them. And they're a great bunch to talk to. Zi You had the amazing grace and patience to do the stop motion, Marv is like everyone's big brother and supervised our progress despite being sick, Stan is really cool and techie and Sean is one of the lamest funniest guys around. I remember Arun filmed a scene where Stan tried to draw on sleeping Sean and Aaron.

AC's IT people! We're awesome, oh wow! Seriously. We're overworked and the best bunch ever. Especially the girls :D hee~

Aysha and I. We're study buddies and she's possibly is my closest friend in AC. She probably keeps my sanity, unknowningly.

Jia Jun and I. Irreplaceble Provence buddy who is such a camwhore, stationaywhore, toiletrieswhore and a total absolute utter diva. And enjoys it. We hang out in Kino and Provence, occasionally on the PSP where he tries to beat my timing! I'm a pro at road rage ^.^V LOL and never misses out an opportunity to poke fun at me. Starting from the hair, my hair (my hair is cute ok!plskthanxbai) I usually compare his hair to the Istana's carpet grass. It's high-class grass ok? I'm going to only say this once, without him, JC life would have turned out pretty monotonous.

The girls of SG 24!

I would have cried if I saw anyone in our SG crying during the closing ceremony. We just played games to entertain ourselves during the Project Showcase which was rather blah. It was a great experience, my crown jewel in my JC life. I really enjoyed it. If you don't include the waiting but the experiences were so much more rewarding that I would overlook the some of the poor logistics/time allocation. I was tearing up reading all the "dear SG 24" emails that flooded my inbox and was very pleasantly surprised. There's so much to say but I'm just to lazy to type it all out.

-over-

I just slept Saturday away. Although went out to watch A Midsummer Night's Dream with Jia Jun at TJC and saw Tim(!), ex-classmates Germaine and MJ. It was really quite good and felt a bit short for my liking. It really picked up after the interval. Ate a Provence dinner<3 on a taxi. It takes great skill. Serious manuplative skills. Went out for coffee and Starbucks (Habourfront), ordered a cappucino. Ok, first ever coffee out of the house, not counting Italy. The foam was good. Damn, I should have added cinammon on top I forgot. Erm, coffee could do better. I still think of Italian 1 euro cappucino<33 was the best. But see, we're in Singapore. Cabbed home because it was late.

Spent Sunday at tuition and chatted online with my SG. Sunday was pretty uninteresting.

Went for the AC choir concert with Tiffany and met up with some old classmates for dinner. I really like the Kyrie by the Alumni, the first japanese song they sang, The way you look tonight and Prayer of St Patrick. The rest was unfortunately, not so memorable. I can't even remember... It has to be the first choir concert I've ever been to, never had a reason to attend IJ's because I hardly knew anyone in IJ choir. I always went for band concerts instead. But it was good. There was this happy warm fuzzy feelings-ish at the end.

Had Maths yesterday. Then went to Provence! LOL. I won't be going there any time soon because I haven't anyone to go with. Provence should be enjoyed with the right company

Today's sky is reminisce of the holiday I spent on Phi Phi Island. I want to go on a holiday. Maybe I shall go for a swim.

Featuring the cover artwork of Monkey Majik's Thank You. Inevitable is a track from Anberlin's third Album Cities, I absolutely adore it, it's like Cities's equilevant to Never Take Friendship Personal's Symphony of Blase which also happens to be one of my all time favourites. Will upload it soon on MoDC. Pity I won't be going for their concert (with Copeland!) on 3rd June, haven't got anyone to go with nor the cash.
