It's so cold outside.. raining and everything. Well today is the last day of auttumn- yep tomorrows winter and it feels like it already. Also I thought I'd mention that today is World No Tobacco Day. So don't smoke! Well it would be better if no-one smoked full stop ever again but I don't think that will happen. I'm so bored at the moment. I'm babysitting tonight which should be alright, it'll give me something to do. Also, tonight in the Melbourne Phoenix game, Bianca Chatfield is captain! She's my fav player so I'm really happy about that.

Netball coaching went well today, the three teams trained against each other and because there were lollies as an incentive it worked.
I think I failed my Italian SAC today, I didn't understand half the questions.
Hmmm... what else? Oh yeah, I added Bec to my list of loved ones, she used to have a deadjournal but now she is with pitas, go have a look at her site :)

I joined some mew cliques because some of the older ones dont exist anymore :( Not all the clique images are turning up for me though. I got into two elite cliques though so I'm really happy about that!!

Just got back from the costume shop. I tried on a Roman style costume and a Spanish looking one. The Roman one was pretty nice, I might end up getting that one if I can't find another outfit for my semi-formal. There was a stupid lady there running the place though. She kept asking what my favourite time periods were and I kept thinking- well my favourites are the ones you only have in like XXXXXXSmall. Stupid woman. Then she asked what other things I like and she was pointing at all these dresses. I was thinking- those things are so damn ugly I don't know why anyone made them.
Okay I guess you can tell I'm pretty tired and emotional at the moment. I didn't want to go to school today but I had an assessment and my other two classes I'm totally lost in at the moment. For PE we did a 4km walk which was good.
We got the Harry Potter video today so I am going to run off and watch that now.

We had house productions today- each house had to do a performance with acting, dancing and music on the theme of 'peace'. They were pretty good considering how much time they had to do them in.
Since we had a casual day lots of the teachers wore the school uniform.Of course they all said it was comfortable (the liars!) because we complain about them all the time. However by lunch time alot of them were changed out of the uniforms therefore they can't have been that comfortable.

The team I coach lost by three today. They were playing pretty ordinary for the first three quarters but their last quarter was really good. They were even at one stage.
We won our game today. I got to play the whole game goal defence because my sister's still injured. The other team was okay but I thought they'd be better. I think we are going to make the finals- but if we do I am probably going to miss the semi-finals. The year elevens at our school can go on the ski trip and I really want to go on it.

I am so annoyed at myself! On the last maths test I got 12/22 for one section. I guess I can console myself with the fact that it was outcome 2, which is the hardest section, and that my lowest test result doesn't count but I'm still really angry! I can't believe I let it happen. I mean I know I didnt fail it or anything but it was bad for me. Even my teacher went 'I thought you would have done better than that'.

I've been working for a while on a new layout so I was working on the image for the last two days. It looked really nice as abmp, crystal clear and really nice! When I tried saving it as a jpg it looked okay, kind of blurry, but not too bad. However I just went to boomspeed and uploaded it and I think it looks reallly bad! Its all fuzzy and bad :(

I'm working on a new layout at the moment. I still havent got the image right though so it will probably take me a while.
There isn't much to say about today. I got my geography essay back though and I got 23 out of 25! I was ecstatic about that because I have been dreading getting it back for two weeks. Our teacher kept going over all the stuff we had gotten wrong but we never got our marks back. I can't believe I was stressing over it for nothing.

Yesterday my internet kept stuffing up so I couldn't write in here :( I was really angry that it kept closing down. I guess it's weird that I was really annoyed by an object not working for me that I obsessed over it all day.
Yesterday morning I had netball coaching and the girls won their second game of the season so they were really happy about that.
Then I was umpiring two games out in the freezing cold (okay it wasnt that cold but it felt like it). At the end of the day we were playing our game. I got to be goal defence the whole game because I was the only person who normally plays defence at the game. It was really fun, especially since we won! (25-10) The umpire told me off because I didn't give the ball to the opposition when I had to stand aside. Why should I give them the ball?? They're the ones who are going to take the penalty so they should get it. I'm not going to waste my energy on them :)

I am really scared about my geography essay at the moment. Our teacher said that he has marked 5 and 4 of them got a D and the oher one got an A. So he's marked about one third of the classes. The ones who got Ds were meant to fail but when he remarked them they just passed. We know who some of the people who have gotten a D are but I'm really scared about what mark I get :(

Today was actually an incredibly boring today. There was only one really cool thing that happened- our physics prac on concave and convex mirrors. One part of the prac was about trying to get a real image on a screen. We went outside and using a concave mirror we were able to get an image of the surrounding buildings and people reflected off the mirror onto the piece of paper. It was really cool! It was like having a little moving movie screen in front of you :)

I forgot to mention the experiment we did in chemistry today. We mixed water and potassium chlorate together over the bunsen burner until it was all dissolved. When we took it off the heat we could see all these crystals forming. It was really cool- there were all these glitter particles seemingly appearing out of nowhere. It was so pretty we wanted to take the stuff home so we could keep it but of course we weren't allowed to :(

We only had a half day at school today so I went out with some friends to have lunch. I had satay vegetable noodles, they were really yummy but filling as well. The cool bit was they actually came in a noodle box. I have never actually had food from one of those little boxes before, normally it comes in plain plastic boxes. So that was my excitement for the day!

I had an assessment in all but one class today! In that class I was preparing for one so I have had a pretty stressful day. In Italian we had to listen to a conversation between people about pastimes for youth in Italy and Australia- It was sooooo bad! As if Italian kids only play soccer and Aussie kids only play AFL and cricket. What about netball! Okay, I know I am a bit biased with that since I am obsessed with the sport but it is the most played sport in Australia! It rarely gets a mention in the newspaper and only one game is shown a week (on ABC!).

Well today is mother's day so "Happy Mother's Day!" to all those mums visiting my site! I hope you're having a great day! This morning we made mum breakfast in bed and she got all her pressies: a rose scented bear, hand cream, tulips, a plate and a gift voucher. Then we went and visited both sides of the family and had morning tea and lunch. It was pretty fun- we got to see lots of our cousins at the same time :)

Last night we had our Presentation night for lifesaving! It was cool because I got to catch up with all these people I haven't seen for ages. I got my patrol lifeguard medallion which was cool and I also got my gold medal for the team swim at States. (I'm pretty proud of that because we were the best U16 team in the state). However when i got my gold medal my sisters name was on it by mistake :( I was really annoyed about that one- especially since they can't fix it!!

I am wearing my new jeans! I got them on Friday night, but I haven't had mucy time to write in here since then. They're blue jeans with brown feathering lasered on them (like all these dirty streaks). I also bought one of those stretchy black hairbands and this strand of glittery sequins for my hair :)
On Saturday I had netball coaching, playing and umpiring. The umpire supervisor said I should be ready to get my badge within a month's time so I'm really excited about that. When I got to netball I discovered that we had been moved from 17B to 17A. We won our game though, it was really fun because my little sister was playing because my other younger sister had injured herself.

I am soooo happy!! I didn't have netball coaching after school because it was raining and it is still raining so I just got a call saying I didn't have to umpire tonight!
Also, I got 79% on my Italian test which I was really happy with! It was on pronouns and I didnt think I got it but this shows me that at least I partially understand it, which is more than what I thought I did.

Today I was playing netball at a rep tournament in Chelsea. I was wing defence most of the games which was really good! Our GK and GD are so amazingly good, they always get the ball and always manage to be in front of their players. We won most of our games and we came runners up so we got a cool little trophy!!
After the tournament had finished I had netball training but I didn't have to do much because my coach told me to sit down and rest so that was pretty cool.
Last night Sara came over to do my hair and it looks so cool I love it!! It looks sort of like dreadlocks but they are really thin and really neat, like lots of little twists. Hopefully they'll stay in for a while :)

Last night was sooooo much fun! It's Beq's birthday on Sunday so a whole group of us went to the footy to watch the StKilda v Collingwood game. We had Level 4 tickets and the place was packed when we got there so we sat in the second row from the top! It was really high up, it felt like you were going to fall down. At the end of the first quarter we were sick of sitting there so we walked around the place for the second quarter. At half time we found a really good spot on Level 1 because everyone had left to go and buy something to eat. It was good because we were really close to the game. After it finished we managed to get into the St Kilda rooms downstairs to see the players. It was really cool!
After a while we had to leave because it was 11pm and we still had to catch the train home. When we got on the train we met up with some of Beq's friends. One of them was really normal but we were all sacred of the other three guys because they had all these piercings and makeup. They were really nice though, and everyone else in the train was really scared. When they left everyone else on the train started talking again, it was really funny to watch.
When we got back to Beq's we had some pizza for dinner and then watched Final Desination. I was pretty scared, it was weird to watch. Then we went to sleep at about 2:30AM because we were really tired and couldn't keep our eyes open any longer.

Yesterday someone by the alias of "DarkArchAngel" posted alot of rude and indecent posts on the message board. If anyone was offended by them, sorry that you saw them but I would like you to know that they weren't my work or a reflection of me. I'm just really annoyed at this person though!

One of my friend's was on an excursion for history today and they went to the art gallery and all these posh restaurants. She brought me back the most beautiful little pastry (I even took a photo of it). It was a raspberry/vanilla cream center and the sides (it was cylinder shaped) were made of lime cake. The top was a thin layer of lime jelly and at the bottom was chocolate/coconut. It sounds really weird but it was really yummy!

We had our aths carnival today! Green came second over all which was pretty cool. I came third in hurdles, 4x100m relay, high jump and triple jump and I came fifth in 100m and 200m so I was pretty happy with myself (I am not that much of an athletics person).
I had to hand my maths project in this morning and the last question took me forever. I know what the right answer was but I couldn't write it because I had guessed it and then my friend told me that's what it was. So because I had no proof for it I just had to submit a half right answer.
I'm umpiring in at Royal Park tonight, hopefully it will go well because it is really scary there in my opinion. We have a rep tournament on Sunday and it is going to be so much fun! Sara's coming over Saturday night to do my hair so well be matching :)

I went to see Crossroads with Amy and Sara on Monday night- I thought it was pretty good. I couldn't believe that Britney Spears could actually act. I know that sounds harsh but normally I don't like her but I actually liked her in the movie. I thought that Anson Mount, the guy that plays Ben, was really hot (even though the others didn't agree!) I think he was in Urban Legends or something similar.

I'm just checking out some other sites at the moment- I found Veronica's site- it is so cute! She has an ozzy the robot layout at the moment (I think she created the character) it looks cool :)
School was weird today. I was really tired from netball last night and my legs were really sore. Then at lunch my teacher booked me into one of the interview rooms so I could do my maths project. Which meant I didn't really get a break from working all day. It was weird just sitting in the little room by myself, I think i was going crazy because i started humming and singing to myself, I hope there wasn't a security camera or anything. That would be really embarassing.
We had two debates in English today, mine is on Friday, I'm not prepared and I'm really scared about it but it was good today listening to the others. They were both on Macbeth. In the first, it was "That Macbeth is totally responsible for his downfall". Our teacher was going on about how the negative side didn;t present a good argument so I asked him if there was a way that he couldn't be totally responsible. He said there wasn't so I said it wasn't a fair topic to debate on as one side couldn't be represented. In the other topic, "That Lady Macbeth is a stronger character than Macbeth", I also was saing all this stuff. I was fine saying all that from my seat, but I'm a nervous wreck when I have to get up and do it properly.
We have our athletics carnival tomorrow (go green!). I'm in 100m sprint, 80m hurdles, triple jump and high jump. Hopefully I won't make too much of a fool of myself.
