Yesterday I went to Southland with my little sis to see ICE AGE! It was really good - the animations looked cool and it was pretty funny. It also had a good storyline! (what more do you want?)
Well later today I'll add some more but I have to get off the internet for now.
(I'm in the middle of designing a new layout!! Also I might do a splash page but I'm still deciding)

31st March
Yesterday I had lifesaving patrol. It was alright.. it was a cold day so we stayed up in the clubhouse keeping an eye on things. I had to move around some of the older pennants/flags so I had to stand on the ladder, second rung from the top. Believe me, it was not a pleaseant experience. After I had done some cleaning, everyone pretty much sat around watching the telly for the rest of the day until it was time to pack up. Then it was time for a mad rush to get home so we could get changed and make it to the MCG for the start of the footy. We went to watch the Essendon v Geelong game (I of course go for Essendon). We were sitting at the Punt Rd end near the top, directly behind the goals so we had a great view. Essendon won , which was a great way to start the season off. It was also Gary Ablett Jr's first game for Geelong so whenever he got the ball everyone gave him a cheer. I can't comprehend why you would give your kid the same name as you- makes you sound a bit big headed.
Today everyone woke up at about seven because the 'Easter Bunny' had arrived. So we had to do the whole big hurrah in the front garden looking for easter eggs, in our pyjamas, with the video camera on us. Then we went to Easter Mass before visiting both sets of grandparents.

For those of you who are wondering what I look like, here is a picture. If the colours look a bit weird it is because when I changed it from photodeluxe to a gif, the colours got altered!

Last night we went to Donovan's restaurant (on the St Kilda foreshore). The interior was really nice and cosy- all the chairs were different and if you were sitting along a wall you had a couch and cushions. I decided not to have an entree, although everyone else did. For my main course I had battered whiting (fish) and some fried potatoes (that tasted like chips-> no, they are not anything weird). For dessert (the best part of the meal) I chose the Esater special. It was two halves of a white chocolate easter egg. Each half was filled with nougat icecream and then had a small amount of mango icecream to represent the yellow part of an egg. The 'eggs' were sitting on a nest made of a sweet type of dried noodles. It was REALLY delicious!

Today I have been creating a little 'toy box' on the side bar for all the little pics I find on the internet. Can I just mention now that I have not created any of these images myself! I have found them via other people's toy boxes. If I have not provided a link it is because I do not know where the image originally came from, therefore I am not going to link to anyone. If you own these images or know who does, please drop me a line so I can give the credit where it is deserved- Thankyou :)

Today was the last day of school before the easter holidays so I am on a natural high at the moment! (Just a sidenote, I NEVER would get a high through illegal substances). I had a few easter eggs at school and we also had a paraliturgy. I haven't been doing much since I got home- just reading other people's weblogs. At the moment on the sidebar, I am beginning a list of weblogs that I like. The first one, Rip Curl Girl, is my little sisters, and if you are wondering why our sites look so similar is because I copied my code for her and then just asked her what colours and pictures she wanted so I could further adjust it for her. The second weblog listed will be a different one each time you visit this site as it is a random generator. If you want your site listed on my weblog just email me with your website address. If I like it, I'll add you! (Don't worry, I'm not exactly picky)
Tonight I am going to Donovan's restaurant in St Kilda with my family and this guy from Germany. It will be my first visit so I am hoping it will live up to my expectations :)

Yesterday and today (Saturday and Sunday) have been pretty busy for me.
Yesterday I had netball coaching (they lost), umpiring two games and then playing. We were playing St Finbars and I was on this girl that I really hate but it was good because she was getting really annoyed that I was playing better than her. We won by heaps!
After the game I went home, had a shower and then went to Miranda's house to 'tutor' her. We got heaps of work done which was really good. For dinner we had KFC (Chicken Twister Meal) and then we had chupachups later on. We went to bed at about 12:30 but I couldn't fall asleep until around 3:00am.
In the morning Sasha cooked us eggs for breakfast and then we had hot cross buns. We did a bit more study and then we got ready for lifesaving patrol. When we arrived at Black Rock beach we signed onto patrol and helped put the flags up and set up the beach. It was pretty hot today so I stayed inside upstairs and did some of my homework while I was watching the National Lifesaving Campionships on television. For lunch I had noodles with chicken which was really nice.
After lifesaving I had Bayside netball training so I went to training for about 40 minutes before coming home.

Last night we had interschool swimming at MSAC (Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre). I was in Yr 11 100m freestyle, Senior 50m butterfly, Yr 11 50m freestyle, Yr 11 50m backstroke, Yr 11 freestyle relay and the butterfly leg of the Senior medley relay. I came sixth out of eight in all of my events which I was pretty happy with. When I got home I realised I had gotten a PB (Personal Best) for my backstroke and my freestyle which was really good since I haven't done any training for two or three years. My sisters won a couple of their events and the school came sixth over all (we are in division 2).
Today at school we had an egg and spoon race to raise money for the Lenten Appeal. So far our class has $440 and as a school we have over $5500! The money we raise is being sent to the missionaries in East Timor to assist with the education of primary school children. A few years ago, during the wars, most schools were destroyed so we are providing money for new school supplies. The thing that amazed me the most was that the children aren't even allowed to draw pictures on their paper as it means they will quickly run out of paper and will have to buy more. :( We also cracked eggs as a celebration of Greek Easter and then we had a picnic lunch. We even got fairy bread!! It has been so long since I have had some- I can't believe I still love the stuff.

Shrek Website
THE STORY: Once upon a time in a far away swamp there lived an ornery ogre named Shrek (Mike Myers) whose precious solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of annoying fairytale characters. There are blind mice in his food, a big, bad wolf in his bed, three little homeless pigs and more, all banished from their kingdom by the evil Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow).
Determined to save their home-not to mention his own-Shrek cuts a deal with Farquaad and sets out to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) to be Farquaad's bride. Accompanying him on his mission is a wisecracking Donkey (Eddie Murphy) who will do anything for Shrek…except shut up. Rescuing the Princess from a fire-breathing dragon may prove the least of their problems when the deep, dark secret she has been keeping is revealed.
QUOTES
*Shrek: Thank you, I'm here 'til Thursday. Try the veal, very nice.
*Donkey: Ooh, this is gonna be so much fun! We can stay up late, swappin' manly stories, and in the mornin', I'm makin' waffles.
*Gingerbread Man: All right, I'll tell you. Do you know the muffin man?
Lord Farquaad: The muffin man?
Gingerbread Man: The muffin man.
Lord Farquaad: Why yes, I know the muffin man. The one who lives on Drury Lane?
Gingerbread Man: Well…she's married to…the muffin man.

Yes, I know it's Tuesday but I haven't had much time to write in here lately.
On Saturday we won netball, this year my sister is playing in the same Saturday team as me. We play the same positions though so that might cause a few arguments down the track.
On Sunday we had Lifesaving State Championships at Mentone beach. I won the U16 team swim with one of my sisters and a friend. We were meant to receive our gold medal on the day but the organisers ran out of medals in the first half of the day! Our club, Black Rock, also won the aggregate for the entire season and also the competiton for the day :) Sunday night we had DH Awards Night and luckily I didn't get an award for being a dickhead. We also had to do these stupid little acts but they actually ended up being quite funny!
Yesterday I was feeling tired and sunburnt from being at the beach most of the previous day.
Today I got home from school, made dinner and then watched the Amanda Show on Nickelodeon. God that show is funny! Tonight I have netball at the State Netball and Hockey Centre at Royal Park, on the other side of the city. The game starts at 10:00 which isn't good for me because normally I'm asleep by then!
