¯ -- Moi dix Mois - Pessimiste
(Because my life's become somewhat boring lately)
A swallow flew through the open window into my room today o_O It was a very fortunate swallow too, because instead of hitting the window glass on its way back, after a few circles in the air (and me fruitlessly jumping up trying to catch it before it hits the glass/wall) it landed on the floor very confused. So I took it in my hands and let it out suppressing the urge to cry 'Fly! Fly and be FREE!' or some other clichéd thing like that^^;
Mwaah, but it was such a cute swallow-chan~ ^_^ It was smaller than my palm, all black and with very sharp claws (which miraculously did not cut my skin).
It's because there are swallow nests just above my windows and tons of them fly outside everyday, squealing a very un-annoying happy squeals^^ The joys of living on a 16th floor.
I was so worried about it killing itself on the wall though. It's because I watch Utena lately (and there was a scene like that ;_;). Heh, and I watched the Akio/Touga/Saionji in the car episode XDDDD Yay for fanservice!
Aside from that, my tickets are already bought - I'm leaving next Thursday. So now I'm doing misc preparations and buy lots of things. I bought a new umbrella and I have a tedious task ahead of me - detaching the lace from my old one and sewing it back onto the new one. Tedious, yes, but the extreme coolness of an umbrella trimmed with lace is worth it, imo^^

I should create a saying 'time flies remarkably fast when one keeps a blog...'. Becaaause~ my bloggie is having its first anniversary today *opens an imaginary champagne*! XDD
It still feels kind of strange for me. I'm almost convinced it was only a month ago I started it all, but in reality POOF! and one year of my life has just been written down day by day (more or less regularly XP).
I can surely say I love my blog. Even if it may not seem to be a very popular one (as I myself am not very sociable ._.). I love it because it's become sort of my hobby. Besides, I've gained a few things during that year thanks to it: improved my English a bit (it was horrible at the beginning >_>), met two wonderful people from blogland^^, the happiness of being able to vent my fangirl feelings somewhere, discovered the passion of layout-making XD, LEARNED how to code aproper simple html layout, made the world dance with joy (>D') by posting real pictures of me (heh, with a fake beard and an eyepatch but whatever =X), and that pleasant feeling of being content after posting an entry (<-that does not apply to my last week's ones ~_~).
Anyway, a big YAY to end the subject.

I saw this, which made me very happy and proved to me once again, that with such yaoi fangirl fodder, GetBackers is a shounen *for girls*.
Btw, I've decided that because I write definitely_too_much about this all, I'll try to limit it now (until episode 39 that is). My blog has become too GB-centric lately ._.
It's so hottt~ outside >_< I want to take a cold bath. With ice cubes and and... and with eucaliptus oil, haha!

In contrast to some people, I'm not quite happy about this. It's not bad right now, but I'm too prejudiced about this place to rejoice it. It gives me bad vibes ._.
Speaking of, I really need to dig through the Saiyuuki section (<- I tend to avoid it lately) someday, because some very good fics can be found there sometimes among the very scary ones. Alas, that's the irony of ff.net.
As for now, I'm not reading any (<-o_O;) fanfics - I'm collecting them to read them all while I'm in Paris :3 (because I won't have enough time to read them normally in the cafes T_T~)
While cleaning my room, I found a very nice hairpin from India, with little tiny bells attached to it. Muaha. And now I'm happily wearing it. The sound of those bells is very very faint, but extremely similar to Kazu-chan's (<- the reason for me to wear it XD').
(Ah, also, I guess I'm the only one who's invented a fantastic way of tying hair using a thin ring-like silver bracelet. It may sound strange as I write this, but I can assure you it looks very good^^)

Heh. I try not to post test results here unless they are very aesthetically pleasant and/or matching the layout, but this one made me laugh as it pictures exactly my longing to see GetBackers 39 (only I don't scratch myself like that >_>). Ghh. I should learn how to use irc one day~
Btw, by the time of posting this entry you can see how delightfully I am failing in my resolution not to use Kami-kun/blog so late -_-;;;;~

AAAGGH!! Shido is an eyebrowless Saitou Hajime clone! @_@~ I will never ever look at Shido the same way again after seeing him like that in GB 38...
It was a very cute episode too, lots of Shido/Madoka fluffiness. Yay for one of the fewwww het anime couples I like ^_^
And that spider-guy's minions were just so cheesy ~_~ But I liked the episode very much. As usual. I love GetBackers.
Hm, judging from the rate of releasing the episodes, 39 should be in a week or so.
I. Must. See. It. ASAP.

Matantei Loki Ragnarok 13 and 14 ^_^ Needless to say, my reaction on Adult!Loki was the same as all the girls who saw him - "<3 <3 <3". And he had Kagami's seiyuu (<-forgot his name ._.') and was acting very Kagami-ishly by saying those 'ya's. Anyway <3. Fenrir rules, especially with the 'daddy' XD'
And Wolf's Rain 22/23: Jagara is a woman! No~! And an evil/nasty woman, too >:[ I vastly hate types like her. And I've had so many theories about [thinking she was a man (*cough* a bish!)] slashing him with Darcia. Just... because. I thought Darcia needed a seme after Hamona's death to finally, finally get over her and that seme would help him ('sides, I have a thing for seme/seme relationships as I've probably mentioned) with it XD'. From what it looked like, I though Jagara was surely a seme. But now all my theories are ruined, bah. Where the hell is Darcia anyway? Is he still alive? Mou~
End of a totally fangirlish anime post. Yay for me.

Waii~~~~, I've just received a 10 000th hit today ^____^. I don't have a gift or anything special for this occasion [(as I kind of forgot about the 10000 coming...) (you may treat yesterday's Fudou as a gift if you like XD')], but I'll just say a very whole-hearted and warm THANK YOU to each and every visitor of this blog ^o^ And I really mean it^^
There was a big storm today which I happily observed as I sat at home with my Coffee-sama. I like storms so much. Doesn't matter if I'm at home or somewhere outside. Although watching thunders from inside, when I'm all warm and dry, gives me a sort of feeling of safety which is very nice~
I bought Naruto volume 1, which I find very dragonballish (and it's not a good thing, imo). Ah, but there is Kakashi~, aka The Reason For Astarise To Keep Buying The Manga (bishness XD)^^. I should watch more of the anime too, as I've seen only three episodes so far...
Hm. It really looks like the only time I blog is around midnight. Must change that somehow. I'm such a time-waster because of that. Lately I sit in front of Kami-kun until 1am, go to bed around 2, then I read/draw/listen to music and fell asleep around 3. And the I wake up at 1/2pm with a feeling how much things I could have done in the morning. Which is not a nice feling at all x_X;
Yes, so um, to change this is a new resolution for me. Wahoo! (I wonder if I make it XD')

¯ -- MUCC - Ware, arubeki bashou
Phewww. I finally finished doing this *points left* little (bigger version here) Fudou (took me most of the afternoon - 37 layers!). And why? Well, I was looking through my GetBackers images, and spotted series of chibies. Those are original pictures, one of them, Akabane, is in the corner of my test result on this blog, just scroll down a little. The thing is, there were all the main characters... but no Fudou T_T And I happen to like him more and more after I cosplayed him XD' [I've read somewhere some stuff about having a 'bond' with a once cosplayed character o_O; (and fangirl me can't wait to have this 'bond' with Akabane :3 Mnn, October, where are you?)]. So I thought it was kind of sad, discrimination of the most insane characters and all...
So pah, I made it up~ Ah, I'm so happy with the result. Modesty away, I am such a genius^^;
Am planning also another version of this, but maybe tomorrow =_=~

A thought has just occured to me: What if there *is* a chibi Fudou among the original ones, only I haven't seen him yet? x_X;

Ah! And I almost forgot! I wanted to write how much I'll be longing to see GB ep 48!!!~! Mein Gott, its title is just awesome :3 Unfortunately I'll be suffering until September with it. Anyway, I'm extremely happy to hear the news about GB having more episodes~ (Also, I'm very happy to hear about Saiyuuki's third season of anime ^_^~ Umh, I do realize I write so few (practically none) things about Saiyuuki lately >_< Fear not, I still love the series very much~)
And because my RL is kind of boring, I'm starting to have anime dreams lately. Yesterday's was weird but WAFFy, for example.
I dreamed I was Watari, and together with Tsuzuki and Tatsumi we went to a little cafe to eat ice cream. There were only vanilla, strawberry and blueberry, which I noted (as Watari) was kind of weird as normally there should be at least chocolate ones too. Anyway, as we ate, a piece of Tatsumi's (blueberry) ice cream fell on his immaculate white shirt and *gasp* stained it. Tsuzuki and me found it incredibly funny and we started laughing uncontrollably only to get an attack of hysterical laughter later. >_>; The ice cream was probably somehow mutated too, because as it was melting (and Tatsumi didn't know what to do (!) and just sat there looking miserably), it turned the part of Tatsumi's shirt it was on into... lace instead of an actual stain o_O; Upon seeing this, me and Tsuzuki fell from our chairs in hysterical laughter again (apparently not caring about having eaten mutated/magical ice cream earlier). All in all, some time later we apologized to Tatsumi (who was ok with it) and went home (home?). Das Ende.
What's strange about this, is that woke up in the middle of the night after this dream, feeling like I was laughing *for real* o_O; It's a good thing I sleep alone in my room x_x~

- Got soaked completely by a warm summer rain, yay ^_^ And did that extremely clichéd thing which is dancing barefoot on the wet grass in the rain.
- Practiced a lot with my little bokken (or rather it should be called zanba tou as it's as long as I'm tall >_>;). It's so much fun! Really, it's the best exercise ever. But I won't take up kendo - I'm too unsportish for this.
- Scared a few people who happened to pass by and see me like this.
- Saw several wild squirrels (omgsosocuteaugh). Squirrels bark, you know. I got barked by them when they saw me staring >_>; Impertinent little creatures.
- Got bitten by 3 mosquitoes. Great ._.
- Found a really pretty big feather to make (another) quill from :3
- Most probably got tanned also. No! I don't want a tan! Go away T_T
- Ate a countless amount of apricots and various berries. Yum~
Umh, and that would conclude the list of Astarise's outdoor activities for today. I'm kind of tired now =_=~

There is a beautiful full moon tonight. Makes me want to look through the window and quote whatever I remember from episode 15 of GB ('Kirei na tsuki desu ne, Akabane-san.' 'Sou desu ne~') -_-;
Anyway. I wanted to buy a discman case/bag thingy for Mistah Tezuka today, but the ones I've seen were all quite ugly. So I decided to sew one myself (I rule). And I did exactly so. It's black velvet with a zipper (again, I rule XD'). I wrote 'Tezuka-san no shirt' in kanji/hiragana/English on it. Why 'shirt'? Ah, because I got this idiotic idea that if Mistah Tezuka is without the case, he can be rightfully called Shirtless!Tezuka. Silly idea, I know, but the mental image is nice...
Loki 12 was very entertaining XD' We had an Evil!Shirtless!Yamino, a Normal!Frey, a Nightmarish!Heimdall, and Mayura looking like Rei Ayanami. XD. I love this show. Must buy the manga someday *nodnod*

There is a beautiful full moon tonight. Makes me want to look through the window and quote whatever I remember from episode 15 of GB ('Kirei na tsuki desu ne, Akabane-san.' 'Sou desu ne~') -_-;
Anyway. I wanted to buy a discman case/bag thingy for Mistah Tezuka today, but the ones I've seen were all quite ugly. So I decided to sew one myself (I rule). And I did exactly so. It's black velvet with a zipper (again, I rule XD'). I wrote 'Tezuka-san no shirt' in kanji/hiragana/English on it. Why 'shirt'? Ah, because I got this idiotic idea that if Mistah Tezuka is without the case, he can be rightfully called Shirtless!Tezuka. Silly idea, I know, but the mental image is nice...
Loki 12 was very entertaining XD' We had an Evil!Shirtless!Yamino, a Normal!Frey, a Nightmarish!Heimdall, and Mayura looking like Rei Ayanami. XD. I love this show. Must buy the manga someday *nodnod*

¯ -- Moi dix Mois - Dialogue Symphonie
Ow, my hands hurt. No, scratch that, my every muscle hurts o_o. I just, er, overexercized myself. Because honestly, lately all my physical activity is very scarce - sometimes I run to catch a bus and that's all >_<. So yesterday I wanted to do some exercises. And I invented a fantastic one ^_^. I found a very long and heavy stick and pretending it was a bokken I started swinging it like a scythe; left and right as strong as I could, so that the air was swishing loudly. Pretending I was practicing kendo (uh, I suck, I know). It was fun so played like this for over an hour. And when I woke up today I was all in pain T_T; Ah, but I'm going to repeat it when I'll return to normal^^
Touya Akira was in my dream tonight, explaining to me why his hair is green - "All male members of the Touya family have their hair green like mine. It's been like this throughout generations and generations..." was what he said. o_O;;
So it gave me an idea and I Photoshopped his hair short XD' Fangirls will kill me for this, haha. Here's the bigger version, made from this screencap.
Oh, and while I'm on this topic, just a little tiny thing: maybe it's just me, but I can surely imagine him acting a la Fudou. You know, the hand twitching, mad look in his eyes and screaming 'SHINDOOOOUUU!'. Heh.

I want to watch Kasho no Tsuki. Yay for the Heian era bishounen XD! And I found out that in the OAVs there are Okiayu Ryoutarou, Koyasu Takehito and Shiozawa Kaneto in the cast! That's enough for me to watch any anime, but I found that after I decided I want to see it ^_^

Ah. Making layouts debrains (<- if there is such a word). It's really amazing how my brain shuts down when I'm working on a layout image on Photoshop or HTMLize it later. I'm completely not thinking then o_O. And I'm losing the sense of time too.
I don't know if it's such a good thing -_- Anyway, I am badly addicted.
Sister bought me Bus Gamer! Joy beyond words. Only I'll probably go mental waiting for her to return with it (two weeks, guh x_x~)

¯ -- Fiction - Lucifer to Iu na no Oningyou
Connection problems again. And almost all day was offline, grr. This time it looked like something serious; when I called them, I was told it's because they had an 'explosion' and some of their main computers are down. Explosion, ne *groans*. I must think of changing the cable providers, really...
But the good thing is, I'm on 18th episode of Utena already! It's not as bad as I expected (after seeing the movie >_>). Ah, and I hate Anthy *adds her to the last entry's 'the most annoying female' part of the survey*. I've heard that people who watch Utena can either love or hate her. Well, saa. I hate her mostly for allowing people to slap her like that (and they all slap each other so often there o_o). And the whole way she acts just asks to slap her --; It makes me mad, because were it I, I'd immediately slap the person back, or never even let them slap me.
Btw, I've never been slapped in my life, you know. I guess I'm too nice for that, ohoho (<-*cough* sure --;) But I have slapped a guy once. Even though he had deserved it, I still feel a bit guilty about doing so ;_;

Just as I happily posted my entry here, a cockchafer (a kind of beetle, my dictionary also calls it May-bug and dumbledore) landed on my keyboard o_O (because the windows next to my desk are open). It's so cute^^ Actually, I'm not afraid of that kind of bugs and even like them. They're friendly - they don't bite and are very slow and clumsy. This particular fellow is especially friendly. He's sitting on my finger now and kind of refuses to leave it^^; So I'm typing with him on my hand (it's kind of hard).
Yup, that's what I wanted to write about ^_^; I'll go and persuade him to fly away now.

I bought a new discman! And promptly named him Tezuka (Yes, *cough* I'm watching lots of Prince of Tennis lately) because in my opinion, if Tezuka were to be a discman, he'd look like that^^;
Ah, but Tezuka is not your ordinary discman, no no. He's very smart. I got a special cd with him, containing a cd burning program (to be installed) that can pack about 500 mp3 files on one cd (in a format only Tezuka discmans can play) *_* Yes, that much.
Now I'm going to take all my original audio cds, make mp3s of them and then burn them all on one or two cds^^ Wonderful *hugs Tezuka*
Heh, I also bought a pair of black sunglasses which are sooo Matrix-like XD They are so dark that when I wear them, my eyes are not visible and one can't tell which direction I'm looking in. So I can now shamelessly stare at people. Fun >D
Fortunately it was my mom who paid for the discman, as I am now maniacally saving money for my Paris manga spree~ Btw, the plans have been changed a little and I'm going there later than I was supposed to, somewhere around the very end of July. So I have a lot of time to save the money ^_^

I know, I know *hides*. Another _dark_ Akabane layout >_<; It wasn't supposed to be this way. I had a bright Kenren layout ready to load, and in the last moment I hesitated and started to experiment with this screencap and I totally fell in love with the result *_*; I mean, don't you just love his expression here? Yaaa~, so evil~ *fangirls around*

I'm planning to watch Utena this week. Somehow I couldn't make myself watch it earlier (I've seen only the movie which was BLAH). Touga and Saionji, yum (<- the only reason for me to watch it. No, wait, there's Akio too XD')
Someone found my blog looking for 'astarise'. And I know it's an uncool thing to do, but now I'm dying of curiosity thinking who could it have been ~_~
I bought a lab coat! A white one!! XDDD Now I can cosplay Watari~~ (I must buy an owl plushie first)
Heh, actually, it's not a lab coat - it's a normal knee-long (<-boo, too short T_T) coat but looking very medical-like. I feel like a doctor/nurse a little o_O; It's *white*. Hell, but I like it. I can wear it like Subaru does - all black plus a white coat (Only sans the collar/belt thingy^^; Then again... maybe it's not such a bad idea...). I'm even quite sure I'm going to wear it normally, not as a cosplay item. I'm going to wear *white* O_O (<- well, it's not that bad... I have a few white things in my closet. I'm just very reluctant about wearing them^^;)
