Also, I got a few referrers like this: "*insert name* dies in OoP" Well, yes, I suspect everyone already knows who dies there, but these people should be more considerate about spoilers. I'd be mad if didn't know that, and suddenly a big spoiler appears as one of my referrers... Between Potter and GetBackers and some other stuff, I simply forgot to write about it^^; Wai wai wai~ Can't wait to leave this place! Unfortunately I have to wait until the second half of July to go there ><; Ah well. It's not much. I'm planning to stay there for about two months, and maybe I'll get a job then (ghhh, nothing more ambitious than a baby sitter I guess, as my French isn't good T_T;). Then I'll have the moneyyyy and I could spend it all in various manga shops. Yup, normal people go to Paris to buy clothes and things like that, but I have only (well, mostly) manga shops on my mind. I even know where to find a few of them (Tonkam!!! Ah, finally I'll have all my Angel Sanctuary completed. I prefer its French edition because it has prettier covers than the Japanese (say what you like, but *I* don't like Hana to Yume's colors)^^; French-translated mangas are of very good quality, btw. Much better than most German ones.). Nyahaha. I haven't been there since three years already, mouu~ I won't have to worry about where to stay or what to eat because I'm going to stay at my father's place. Ah-ha, now A Fact You Might Have Not Known About Me: I was born in Paris (But I'm not French. Not even a little T_T;) and my father lives there. So yay ^_^ My sister leaves there tomorrow. I'm sorry if it seems as though I write too much about GetBackers lately. It's hard to control it, when it's my current obsession. And especially when this obsession is fed so often with the releases of new episodes. And they're damn good episodes too~35 proved to be one of the best ones I've seen ^_^ Yay for my beloved Dr J for appearing and looking so extremely dark and yummy :3 I especially liked that one shot of him posted above. Usually screencaps are not of best quality so I amended it a little. Here's the bigger version *siiigh* [Hehe, Akabane is slashy (literally though) XD] And Maguruma was there too~! And he let Akabane ride on top of his truck :D Happy desu~ Fantastic filler episode ^^ Matantei Loki Ragnarok 11, however, was the *best* episode ever! Not only it was Frey-centric, it was also extremely funny. Basically it was about Frey helping Mayura with her misteri club at school. Also, it was the first time I saw a parody of The Ring in anime! And poor Heimdall had to be Sadako XDDD "I bestow punishment on you in the name of heaven!" Frey just rules. Whatever he be doing, I react automatically with an 'awwww <3'. Mayura is crazy, but I like her. Beam of Death XD I love this show. It's almost as WAFFy as Furuba. Must have the manga~ I've made 4 new layouts today^^. It's surprising how many of all my ready layouts feature Gojyo. Sure, I like him, very much, but to enshrine him in a layout so many times? Hm hm. It's just that it's extremely easy for me to make a layout with him... I had a really hard time to come up with an idea for an Akabane layout. Ah, and now I found a script how to use div layers and it's very useful in many layout ideas, yay~ As for now, I think I understand it; when I use it the layers work but I somehow have a feeling that something may be wrong with it ^^; Astarise enlightened the world @ 10:59 p.m. Oh, don't mind me, I'm just insane. Ahem. Look, I cosplayed Fudou! XD' The original Fudou is in the center btw, if you can't tell the difference (yes, *cough* of course -_-)    Why Fudou? Well, why not? Actually, I felt like doing a little cosplay and Fudou was the easiest to make. I just needed to tie my hair, make an eyepatch, draw a little beard using black kohl, make the red cuff and sew the gray crosses onto the gloves and the collar. Voila. Oh, and I put an additional t-shirt on each of my shoulders to look more bulky XD' Fudou is such a freak. He's actually scary. For those who haven't seen GetBackers yet (what are you waiting for then? XD'), I'll give an example how scary he is: "First of all, I'll destroy both your arms and legs and make you immobile. Then I'll take your life. Not just once, aftar inflicting all kinds of pain, again. And again, and again, and again! Once isn't enough, even if your heart stops I'll force it to move and then kill you again. Till your body experiences an endless pain and my, Fudou Takuma-sama's desire is satisfied." o_O  Bah, it's not that I like him, it's more that I like to make fun of him. If there's one thing I LIKE about Fudou (except I like making fun of him) it is his hair~  <- Now here, I'm more like him. I'm pretending to be attacking a plant for the lack of better thing to do when posing -_-; My sister was taking pictures of me and she was truly scared because I started chasing after her screaming 'MIDOUUU' and 'SHINEEE' all over the place (that is the corridors of our building). I wanted to go outside, but she refused to be seen in public with me >_>; Well, I sort of understand her. I forgot to take my makeup off, and with the beard and the eyepatch I looked really like a gay freak or something ^_^; Oh, that btw is the first time I'm posting real pictures of me on this blog, haha. Be scared. I look less freakish normally, that I can ensure. But I'm wearing my <3 <3 <3 black coat, which is too short for my likings -_- It's a perfect Fudou length, but I want it to be Akabane-long ^_^ I will seriously cosplay Akabane himself, when I'll go to the Aicon thing in October. I'll go to the tailor to make a special Akabane coat for me, not only for the con, but I've always wanted a looong swishy coat^^; And I'll make the hat tooo~ <3 It was just a little, unofficial cosplay and the photos are not of the best (plus I'm not photogenic -_-) quality (I want a digital camera T_T). I would do Watari but I'd need a labcoat for that and I don't have one yet^^; (-edit later- I realized it just now, how that sentence sounds without the context o_O; So let's treat it only *with* its context... -/edit-) Ah, so this entry is going to be a fully GB one. I saw 34 and 35 is going to finish downloading soon :D Soon~ >D Yay for fillers. All of GetBackers filler episodes I've seen were great (as fillers, of course). Mmm, Yamato is such a bish~ Kazuki dead? No no no. You must have misunderstood me ^_^' I can assure You he's alive and (cutely) kicking. I guess You deduced that from what I wrote about his fight with Juubei in the last entry. True, in the end Juubei shielded Kazuki from his own needles and it looked like he was dying, but Kazuki took him to the pharmacist and all, and Juubei lived, only the needles made him blind. Ooops, that was a spoiler (don't kill me >_<). If Kazuki really died, I'd write tons of stuff here mourning him and saying how unfair the world is. Besides, I find Kazuki too adorable to be just killed off (well, GB in general doesn't look to me like a show when the main characters die. But maybe it's just me.*Let's hope* it's not just me^^) Hmm, I might actually post those silly photos of me on the LJ GB Community, when I'll feel like showing my idiocy to more people -__-; Astarise enlightened the world @ 11:12 p.m. I couldn't possibly think of a better thing to greet me in the morning than the release of GetBackers 33. XD!!! My dream finally came true (um, spoilers in the next paragraph) I was Not that this episode added something new to their fight (well, ok, it ended it. sheesh) except for Akabane's little gasp of surprise (Which was *_*! Akabane gasped!) but now I can say I *do* support Akabane x Ban XD It'd be funny. Besides, I have a thing for love/hate pairings (Gojyo/Sanzou or Sirius/Snape anyone? XD) I can't wait to see Dr J appearing again~ Unfortunately, when I checked the descriptions of episodes (up to 41) on the official site, I couldn't find Akabane's name there >__> I keep convincing myself that the fact that it's not in the descriptions doesn't mean Akabane won't appear^^; Also, I'm disappointed how they ended the Miroku fight T__T Somehow I find this episode very rushed and it left too many things open (Akabane and Natsuhiko T_T). Venus de Milo arc started fantastically, it was really fun and entertaining, but definitely too short. Natsuhiko had such a little role there~ And I really expected Akabane to something more, maybe something nasty and such (but I might have expected too much from this episode). Kazuki in a boat, hee~ Although I thought he had Juubei with him T_T Juubei didn't even say anything in the Mugenjou-Jagan-thingie ><; Ok, end of that. Let's wait for some filler episodes now. Yay for GetBackers however the plot makers treat Akabane (they're not nice to him. Look how unresolved was his fight with Raitei AND with Ban. I'm surprised he's so calm about it ^^). I downloaded one episode of Hitsuji no Uta not knowing anything about it except that the title sounds cute. It makes me sentimental because it reminds me of one of my first sentences in Japanese I learned a long time ago - Hitsuji wa taihen otonashii doubutsu desu. I was so happy then that I knew something in Japanese (It was um, 3 years ago. Yes, relatively I'm quite new to anime and this all) and was walking around saying it to whoever I met -_-; So the word 'hitsuji' makes me sentimental. As for the anime, I was expecting little singing fluffy sheep but got two angsty kyuuketsuki instead >_>; Saa. RL: I've passed the last week's exam and I'm now totally free ^__^ My very first year of college is officially completed. It wasn't bad, really. If the next ones are going to be like this, I can even say it's going to be easy. Yay. So. Finished Harry Potter OoP at last. Need to rant~ Spoiler Space. I know that now almost EVERYBODY rant about it on their blogs and it may be boring to read yet another review but I really need to ^_^; End of Spoiler Space. Rant: I've been wondering whether the whole case of anti-HPslashers campaign would influence this book. Well, the first thing I noticed was that ALL new characters introduced were female (excluding the Kingsley guy but he wasn't very important). Ysshh. Well, maybe not totally 'ysshh' because I liked Luna. I'm not saying anything about Cho because I'd need to use swear words here and I don't want that :/ Let's just say that she's like most girls from my school (and that's why I'm antisocial towards them ._.). About the slash: I was worried that now it's going to be less slashy, but fortunately I was wrong. The lessons with Snape were just >__> Oh, wait, I can see the fanfics now: When they practise occlumency, one of them discovers that the other has thoughts/dreams about him. It just begs to be written. Fred and George were acting in they usual slashy way. "Hiding in a broom cupboard" is a well-known metaphor ^^; Saa, ne. What I also thought, was that judging from the size of the book, I expected it to include at least the beginning of the second war. But no, it was just another year at school, but with much more angst added. Teenage angst too -_-; What I liked was how Harry himself was presented. Eh, of course it *was* his fault Sirius died, I still think he's a brat, but at least it was as thought he has finally realized all those unusual things about him, an tried to cope with his emotions. Er, something like that anyway ^^; Bonus points for his attitude. Yay for bitchy!Harry snapping at everyone^^ I'm surprised that after he was told his prophecy, he did not consider suicide. I'm not saying he should do it, but it didn't even cross his mind. They sent Lucius to Azkaban T___T Ah, I'm not worried, he'll escape soon, he's like that ^_^ The book also changed my image of James. Whohho. Now I'm a full, 100% supporter of Sirius/James *_* They were both so seme-ish when they were young. Yup yup, can't wait to read all those Sirius/James fics with a 'new' James in them. I've expected more of Snape to be there T______T The book is so thickkk, why couldn't it be more Snape-centric, sheesh. And not much of Sirius and Remus too. I'm extremely surprised by the complete lack of reaction from Remus to Sirius' death (Hohoho, this just asksss for a fanfic and that's good. Fanfics are good. Fanfics are what *makes* HP good :3 ) The ending made me feel sad/angry because Sirius' death was so *useless*. He didn't even save anybody. Gomen, but when it comes to characters' deaths, I'm an idealist and want them to die protecting somebody. Stuff like that. I wouldn't say a bad word (well, it'd be sad) if that stupid opponent (she was evil in a VERY cheesy way ~_~) of Sirius tried to aim for Harry and Sirius saw that and jumped in the last moment taking the spell onto himself and dying in Harry's arms, not before uttering a few dramatic sentences first. Now wouldn't it be much cooler?! Of course it would. Er, yes, that's very anime-like, but I'm a sucker for scenes like that (Like the end of Kazuki/Juubei's fight in episode 19, only Juubei lived. I cried anyway T_T) It's not that I'm childishly fangirling right now, but I suspect he'll return in later books somehow. Somehow. It would be in style of this all, ne? To be perfectly honest, I liked Sirius just because he was a bishie (my favorite there is Snape, yay for Snape!), not as a character (he was cool in PoA. Then he became all goody-goody >_>). This proves what I've said once that Rowling seems to have something against bishies. I was right >:3 So anyway, all yesterday I devoted to searching for fanfics. I need Siriusslash now T__T Blah blah, will probably write something more about it, but this entry looks frighteningly long already. So maybe some other time. I absolutely love to discuss the reltionships between HP characters and the slash possibilities ^_^ Especially the slash part. Slash itself is such a fantastic and fascinating topic, ne? Dawn came and I still didn't want to stop >_> Admittedly, it took me so slow to read it because I was dozing off in some moments, like Hagrid's tale. I'm sorry, I'm just Hagrid-prejudiced. I don't like him no matter how hard I'd try (and I don't try =P). Also, since I have the book, I haven't had enough time to read. Had to spend half of today helping my grandfather write (another one) his book (look what a good granddaughter I am XD). Erk. Well, first of all, I finished watching 35 episodes of Prince of Tennis XD' Admittedly, I did that only out of sheer curiosity because too many people seem to be obsessed with it. XD... Kaidoh is so CUUUUUUUTE ^.^; No, really, I find him extremely cute. He walks around *hissing*! XD' Tezuka is pretty cool (Okiayu-sama~) and I like Inui's seiyuu very much (note to self - check that one). Speaking of seiyuu, I think Mizuki is actually the BEST Ishida Akira's role I've heard <3 Love his little ehms ^_^ But my favorite so far is Akazawa, the dark-skinned captain of St.Rudolph (sp?). He's a very nice eye-candy XD. Interesting. I actually want to see more episodes... And will, too~ More KareKano and 1 episode of Saint Beast. As for the latter: Well. Er. Um. Anou. Eto... I don't think I will watch more. Even though it has bishies. It was... cheesy? Yeah, something like that. It was just plain obvious that its creators were watching too much Saiyuuki and Weiss Kreuz... *Too much* of them XD' Something like that proves that Astarise likes *not* everything that is full of bishounen *sigh* That's why my favorite anime genre is fighting shounen! XD! I don't know, I just like real fighting shounen's bishounen (<- o_O;) best :3 I also watched a lot of Hikaru no Go anime (because I've seen only few eps earlier) and I'm on the 40th already, yay. Sai! <3 Oh yeah, that reminds me. I'm planning to divide my bishlist into two categories: The Droolsome Bishies, and The Awww Bishies (<- I don't have a better name for the latter one yet). Somehow it just doesn't feel right for me to place Sai and Akabane in one list -_- Someone might actually think I find Sai droolsome which is just erk. Sai is the most wonderful character ever. Waaah, why have I never dreamed a me-and-a-bishounen-NC-17 dream yet T__T? Sad, really. Oi, imagination-san, *pokes her head* kindly do something about it, ne? Or, (highlight for my oversized egoXD) how can you not love a world where an Astarise like me lives?! Worship me XD~ No really, I love that bunny^^; Found him in one French issue of Elle (ha! There was something worthy in there after all XD')Oh, I do regret it. Really^^; Unfortunately I don't watch tv unless there is a very very very interesting anime/film on (which happens seldom as I'm usually very picky) XD~ Maybe I should start? I don't know, I just feel weird watching all those tv shows ._. I keep telling myself to at least watch the news [because I'm always behind with what's happening in the world: I don't watch the news, don't listen to the radio, don't read the news online, well maybe I buy a newspaper occasionally (very occasionally) o_O;] Such ignorance... XD~ The title of the song I'm currently listening to *points up* is very apt just after watching all of Saint Seiya Hades. Oh god, it was even more dumb than I expected XD Ah, but the fun~ The seiyuu~ Seki Toshihiko was actually voicing a seme *gasp* [because Milo (the Scorpio) is a seme, right? Ah, Saga (Okiayu) is the biggest seme of them all. No wait, there's also this weird eyebrow-guy voiced by Koyasu. What's his name? Radamanthis or something like that =P] Very strange. I thought all characters Seki's voiced are uke ^^; And the Gold Saint voiced by Nobutoshi (Camus, was it? Ghh, there's so many names I'm lost ,_,) uses the attack named 'Diamond Dust' which was just *erk?* because hearing him I thought about Ban and Diamond Dust is Kagami's attack and and... Ah, that proves once again that I'm GetBackers obsessed. Myuhuhuuu, there was Tobita Nobuo as the bad guy XD! Although he was talking rather fast and unAkabaneishly (<- go my word formation --;), it still was his voice <3 <3 Happy desu. I want some good old Gojyo/Sanzou fic. It's been a looooooong time since I read one. It's because lately I'm not very eager to visit ff.net. The descriptions of Saiyuuki fics are enough to scare me away. Alas, I know I'm losing much. Because ff.net is a very ironic place - among all those scary badfics there are some really good ones astray. The hard part is just to find them. Ghh *sighs* I absolutely love today's weather <3 Finally it's not hot anymore and I'm not melting. Instead it's something around 17C and a bit rainy. Yay! I forgot to ask some random classmates to lend me their notes, and I have too few things to study from for tomorrow's exam XDD' Funny. Or rather ironic. I normally hate studying, but when I actually want to, I don't have the materials XD' There are only two possible results of my tomorrow's exam: passing or failing it. Hm hm hm >D I braided my hair today. It's, I don't know, the fifth time in my life I did so ^^; Feels kind of strange. Also, I noticed how extremely thin my braid is >__<; Must think of some serious hair-conditioning... On the more positive note, I got 10 episodes of Saint Seiya Hades! Haha! I know, I know. It's a very dumb series. Oh, so very dumb^^; But I feel sentimental towards it. The previous 3 (I'm not sure if it was actually 3) arcs I watched on tv long time ago. Over 100 episodes in an ugly French dub XD' It was so funny! I mean, it absolutely wasn't supposed to be near funny, but the whole idiocy of its seriousness was funny (and some charcters had a tendency to poke their eyes out XD). Besides. It's literally full of bishounen. Maybe not very droolsome bishounen, but definitely extremely slashy. So... very... slashy...~ The Hades arc has additionally very very good seiyuu cast @_@: Tobita Nobuo!!! Seki Toshihiko, Okiayu Routarou, Kusao Takeshi, Canna Nobutoshi and Koyasu Takehito (and Tanaka Hideyuki whom I heard last week as Houjou Ujiteru)! Wai~! I haven't watched it yet, but I guess I'm going to do it right after posting this entry. Mwahaha! Gay Saints, here I come XD~! Astarise enlightened the world @ 08:16 p.m. Nyapiiiinnnngggg~! Tsk, tsk, that was so predictable -_-; But how could I not make an Akabane layout when I'm so obsessed with him? ^^; As a layout idea, it's absolutely not original and creative, but still~ I like it =3 (I like the picture XD') The image is big and it's best viewed in 1024xblah (*scratches head* I always seem to forget the other number ^^;;;;). So I, having 800x600, have to scroll it. Ah, well. I may be a little altruistic for the 1024 users ^^ And I have a wide table for the entries, FINALLY XDDD! When I was moving my stuff, I found my large collection of women magazines. Elle and Cosmopolitan, to be exact. I used to buy them (I stopped not so long ago). When I looked at them, over 200 issues, it scared me how much money I've spent on them T__T;; A complete waste, I'd say. Trash. I skimmed through them and immediately threw them all away. Right now, I can't understand how could I buy them. For one thing, the articles were just plain not interesting for me. So was the fashion. In all those over 200 issues, I found only _4_ pictures of dresses I would definitely wear and one cool hat. Only this -_-.
