Flapjacks!
This Srini guy is, pardon my Franch, a real ASS
... because he throws kittens out of windows. I have no warm feelings toward people who hurt animals. Unamerican Activities, Srini's bidness, has always seemed rather cheesy to me, but now I have passionate disdain for him. Thanks to Mister Kottke for mentioning this in the first place.
Another postcard
This time it's from Jackie Chan.
squirrely posty!
The nice folks over at Genericgirl.com (good name, eh?) sent a squirrel postcard. Nothing makes me smile like a squirrel in a bathtub... oh, that sounds wrong.
it's getting worse!
We have now resorted to potty humor.
Dick Butkus
Oh boy, I wasted so much time with this stuff today! And Andrew gets to partake in the inanity. No, I didn't leave out an "s."
Constance has been having a hard time lately
... but with this message, that's sure to change!

Oh, the postcards keep coming...
I think I am going to start using this as a listing of all the postcards I send and receive. That means that I have to start sending them more often, but it could be fun. For some reason, this game never fails to amuse me. Here's one that Evan received from your pal and mine, Jon Bon Jovi. Whoa-oa-oa-oa, you give love... a BAD NAME.
More Posty Fun
Rocka rock, the postcards don't stop! For this time I wrote in rhyme. I hope it's liked by Krysta, 'cause otherwise she'll be all piss-ta.
We are incredibly mature.
Postcard for Krysta
My roommate Krysta and I keep sending each other internet postcards. She sent me this one after I sent her one earlier today. When will it all end?
grammar bustaz
This entire directory is hilarious. Andrew showed it to me. He always finds the best web sites.
fred and his band
here is fred thomas's band. fred is nice, and he lives not far from me. he likes bunny rabbits.
miki review
"For some reason, I am misunderstood, as all real geniuses are: Galileo, Michalengelo, Dylan in 1966, Ginsbgerg, Burroughs, the list goes on and on. When I ask questions people seem to think I am being 'smart.' I can't remember how many times I've been called 'smart' in my life, but it's definitely been a lot."
gratitude
Well, this is just about everything that I ever wanted to say about the Beastie Boys. It's just presented more eloquently than my babbling would have been. Check out the apology the BBs made in Time Out New York. Impressive.
diaryland page by teenager
Usually I poke through the Diaryland.com members list, looking for funny or quirky stuff. Tonight I found this diary, called Covergirl. The poor girl seems to have issues with body image and food. Her father is trying to bribe her with clothes so that she stops dating her 13-year-old Cuban-American boyfriend. It's amusing, sad, cute, and touching all at once.
aahahah
I love the pictures for Emo Lifestyle.
neato flasho
This is why I need to learn Flash. Yes, this site has a few too many bells and whistles, but it's pretty stunning, isn't it?
Actually, the best part is the music maker which allows you to make songs.
90210 haiku
Krysta and I can't get enough of 90210. And here we go: 90210 haikus! So much fun.
kate cooties
... has updated. I hadn't visited her page in a while, but woudja look at that stylish splash page? Looks good, doesn't it? And what's inside reads good, too!
aha!
I knew they weren't real names.
"the list"
This is really silly. At first, I felt bad for the guys because, well, it would be embarrassing for them. But then I looked at the names of the men, and they're just so very fake. I mean, come on, Topper Bartholomew? Cheever Chadwick? Padraigh Sullivan? Mmhmm.
livin' the vida emo
"Now I live for emo. It communicates to a side of me that nothing else can reach. Sure, Slayer rules, and death is amazing..."
I can't make fun of this. I mean, the Slayer thing is funny, but it's kind of sad to see how much this kid wants a girlfriend.
The whole emo explosion is really weird. I think all of the skapunkers from a few years ago are now wearing sweaters and getting in touch with their emotions. And that's a good thing, obviously, but I can't help but wonder if some of that introspection is done for the sake of introspection. I was certainly melodramatic in my day.
Amazon story
I wrote this.
kid dynamite breaks up
This is the Jade Tree bio page for Kid Dynamite. I don't know why Jade Tree uses this type of press release, because it's tres cheesola. Anyway, Kid Dynamite broke up this past week, I guess. I have a Kid Dynamite story, but I'll probably just put it on my web site. Shall I do that tomorrow? Yes, sure, I shall.
buy my old shit
So you've always wanted to own my records? Okay, so you haven't, but maybe you'd like some of these anyway. These are old records from the days when I was hip. Now I don't even own a record player, and so I figured I'd do some spring cleaning. I don't know if any of them are worth anything, but that first Guilt 7" may be. It's out of print, so go make your bid.
fear of a punk planet
I wonder what the folks at Punk Planet magazine think of this.
Do not diss Britney Spears
... she just had a major growth spurt. Krysta and I were at the Get Up Kids show yesterday, and her sister came up to us. "BRITNEY SPEARS WAS IMPREGNATED BY JUSTIN FROM N'SYNC!" she cried. We thought this was funny.
this is funny
and I don't know why.
the cutest site!
I think this is a retro ebay or something, what with all its cute old illustrations. Even though the content isn't my bag, the design is really cute and fun to look at.
