Her father is trying to bribe her with clothes so that she stops dating her 13-year-old Cuban-American boyfriend. It's amusing, sad, cute, and touching all at once.

This is really silly. At first, I felt bad for the guys because, well, it would be embarrassing for them. But then I looked at the names of the men, and they're just so very fake. I mean, come on, Topper Bartholomew? Cheever Chadwick? Padraigh Sullivan? Mmhmm.

I mean, the Slayer thing is funny, but it's kind of sad to see how much this kid wants a girlfriend. The whole emo explosion is really weird. I think all of the skapunkers from a few years ago are now wearing sweaters and getting in touch with their emotions. And that's a good thing, obviously, but I can't help but wonder if some of that introspection is done for the sake of introspection. I was certainly melodramatic in my day.
