this salon piece is terrific, well worth sitting through the little ad that lets you read it for free today. i adore nigella, and often wondered if it was just my household that thought her the sexiest broad around. i guess we are not.

field festival tickets procured
yay c for being a member on the radiohead website and geting us tickets. they are the headliner for the saturday "field festival" date on long island this june. i am already getting very excited.

protest city zoo closings
finally, something good to protest. click here to send e-mails to people "in charge" in the city to protest the proposed zoo cutbacks. because--unlike said earlier today by a mayoral spokesperson--bears cannot just find new places to live, like people who relocate for new jobs.
