Monday, February 11, 2008, 11:40 p.m.Here, Maine! Since I haven't gotten my photoshop yet, I FOUND MICROSOFT OFFICE PICTURE MANAGER to resize my photos and adjust the contrast! Though I am a little upset I can't make the pictures look nicer/tastier than it already is OR add text. But here's a short picture post of the previous happenings.. in no order of sequence. Wait, if you haven't eaten. I suggest you satiate yourself first (: First up, Akashi Japanese Restaurant with my Mum and Haoming (: Absolutely lovely sushi. Our must-have is the spider maki :*, LOVE. I find that what leaves an impression is that their seaweed and green tea leaves are roasted specially for that divine fragrance! ((: (Double chins are bound to surface if we keep eating like that!)     Even my uncle says it's good.  Ning's early 19th birthday celebration at Hard Rock Cafe! The steak Haoming and I shared was delish, what I really liked was the yummy mashed potatoes (:  Food followed by people!          The birthday girl (:  Group photo (:  Us at Tanglin Club with Mummy, succulent salmon sashimi (alliteration!); Wagon cut; Foie Gras (tasted REAL BAD); fresh oysters from France (not sure? but SO GOOD). A REAL MUST TRY :D I couldn't believe organic food actually tasted different and BETTER. The veggies were so naturally sweet though half-cooked and the meat and fish is incredible (: The juices they sell are apparently the same as those on TV for Theresa? Cool.     Last but definitely not least of the up and coming photos, Haoming inhaling helium :D HILARIOUS Sunday, February 10, 2008, 11:48 p.m. $ CNY $ So the reunion dinner was at Raffles Town Club, food wise was alright but they had H-U-G-E prawns!  Yu Sheng!  My Grandmother and Brother  With my mother this time  Celebration in advance for Mummy and my second brother's birthday (:   Monstercue pool with the 22 year old brother whose birthday falls on the first day of the lunar new year! Haha, I got trashed real bad ): First day: We had no where to go except my Grandmother's place, which we stayed the whole day ): Steamboat as usual with my absolute fave, rabbit fish (?) (: GAMBLING GAMBLING GAMBLING! We (sorta) won like 0+ (: Unbelievable. My Mum with her angpao-like dressing  Haoming came over real late into the night and got BEEG angpaos :O Second day: I had no where to go, plus my brothers left without me >:| ANYWAY, I met Haoming, Joe and Ainsley for dinner. We went Haji Lane and had sheesha at Ambrosia Cafe! (: My first time. They had such a laugh at me!    Left for Phuture to meet Jan, Annabelle and people. The night started out slow with tequila shots and weird tech-halfjazzy-house music. Joining the dancefloor, one two hours later drama evolved. I must say, zouk security acts fast. HAHA. The crowd was real bad we were all packed like sardines in a can. Tsk, age has us jaded about clubbing. From now on, it has got to be member style by hope. Feet hurting sorely, we left. Ordered Macs and watched Meet the Parents on DVD (: Woke up to tomyum maggi mee with abalone cooked by my dad (: Went to the Singapore History Museum wanting to catch the Greek masterpieces (where disproportionate sizes compare the BRAIN and the CHUNK OF MEAT). We missed it ): Ended up viewing Singapore history of food i.e. Satay; Hainanese Chicken Rice; Bah Kut Teh; Laksa; Kok kok mee etc, Cantonese Opera and Photography gallery.      The Ice Kachang Man (:  The Poseur  Our shot at photography (:   He asked me to pose! HAHA.  Dinner at Novus, refine chic almost at it's simplified best. Extremely exquisite food in equally extrremely small portions with extremely high prices. Lucky for us, we had a late late lunch and shared the evening degustation set. WHICH still cost us an astonishing 8! Lucky for those red packets.   Yummy buns (:  Foie Gras ((:  Cream of broccoli with truffles infused ((:  Scallops with Salmon Caviar (:  Veal cutlet with Foie Gras ((:  DESSERT!! Monday, February 4, 2008, 03:25 a.m. 7 I am gonna have to rely on looking through my cam to figure out what have I been doing these few days! But, I know about yesterday since I planned it (: We started out early/sleepy after a late night movie viewing at home. Buffet at The Carousel (: Which as Maine has warned, food was alright to the tastebuds but desserts were GODSEND. At the entrance       Of course we ate more than that. Though Haoming was amused at the way I kept on gushing about the feeling of heaven and absolute girlish delight I was in (: Oh sweets. Feast your eyes and tastebuds.     Take a break  To carry on!      Slow walk to Cine digesting our food. Ironic that we were going to watch Sweeney Todd (which I LOVE!), mighty throat-slitting; gut-wrenching; goosebump-inducing; provocative. Fave. Conversely, we felt like having meat pies after the show. Just thinking bout the starchy crisp crust, mmm. Right after rush to Kenko at Tanglin for his relaxing my painful massage. Specially because he spent three days in the jungle for outfield :D Cabbed to Marina South Pier for dinner under the stars at Pier Eleven: The Edge (: But it was a cloudy night, we only spotted one star. Anyhoo, the food TOTALLY made up for our almost star-less night!  Mushroom soup and Foie Gras (intense taste!) with caramelized grapes ((:  Salmon Roulade with beetroot (my fav!) stuffing (:  Baked in the oven then Pan-Grilled cod, awesome (:  Warm chocolate cake for dessert, which the picture has diappeared ): Followed by late night swimming attempts by him, Joe and Ainsley! Ate the very first ice cream cake I moulded; creamed and decorated (with much teasing from Debo, Ari and Shin in Dempsey) from scratch (:  Although Patrick the idiot said "So short? I thought it was much longer?" I know that even an eternity will not be enough. Monday, January 28, 2008, 02:04 a.m. tres fresh Had an invigorating facial; relaxing foot and shoulder massage at Kenko; quite yummy dinner at Tanglin Club followed by touching Stardust (which is my third time watching) (: Seriously, Captain Shakespeare is the core of oppression trapped in old age waiting for an escapade Rawrrr. Seriously, don't let me go on.. Anyway, met the ex-tuition mates on Friday for the first time in two years (minus Sara who's working at M&S's and Ivan slaving for the government heh). My first time at Riverside Indonesian Restaurant :D Incredibly tasty charcoal grilled chicken! Whilst the boyfriend tsk-ed at my ignorance >:| Had my turkish icecream, which the boyfriend was made a fool out of. HAHA, choc + strawberry = bubblegum flavour Mmm. Home club for the first time and I exclaimed quite loudly "Isn't that the old Mad Monks, the lesbian club?!" HAHAHA, and Yinyee was like I used to go there :P Met Joe there coincidentally and the paupers like my boyfriend and I didn't want to pay cover of . Ended up staying outside breathing in smoke and watching people drink Asahi (: Watched Rambo after pool with Joe and Ainsley on Saturday, wahh. EXCITE EXCITE! Gory but EXCITE. Hong Kong Cafe after, Mmm French Toast. I don't like to eat any other kinds of egg, except soft boiled only please, but this I approve of (: That slight crisp fairly eggy taste, with my kind of carbohydrate drizzled with honey/maple savoured with butter. Although I did check up on their chef (Vincent Teng who has a rather impressive resume!) Anyhoos, THERE YOU GO Maine, pictures (: Warning: Entry below sounds advertorial-like. Pity I'm not paid :( Stepping in to Scarlet Hotel :O  Sensuous lavatory, mmmm.  "A seductive tease, this luscious enclave infused with sensual glamour morphs, from day to night. Featuring a provocative menu with a creative edge, Desire will tantalize the taste buds and arouse passions." "Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired"  Acqua Panna cost us per bottle, Tuscany indeed. My pleasant skinny Latte with yummy cookie. The waitress gave us another six after we were bloated! Excellent service I say :D  His (top): Soft Shell Crab; crispy soft shell crab with vegetables ribbons of carrot, radish and cucumber topped with mixed fruit ceviche. Mine (bottom): Grilled Asparagus; grilled large asparagus wrapped with bacon, goat cheese and basil perfumed herb salad. LUSCIOUS (:  His: Fish Fricasee; seasonal fish fillets with wild mushrooms lightly stewed in fish veloute lying on freshly baked puff pastry. Mine: Chicken Roulade; herb marinated chicken rolled with spinach with vegetable ratatouille and rosemary jus. FLAVOURSOME (:  His: Banana Flambe; sliced bananas flamed with rum and butterscotch served on crepes and vanilla gelato. Mine: Sticky Date Pudding; topped with caramel pop corn and coconut ice cream (of course, but my only lament is this was a tad TOO starchy). DIVINE :)  Anyway, to get value for money albeit a somewhat lack of night romanticism, go for the lunch sets! Oh and the pictures of Haoming and I didn't turn out as nicely as I would like :( That explains. After that, Maine's themed Masquerade party, which I was not told of dress code HAHA, was a blast! Great food (seriously YUM); Great company; Great stories (sorta) non-stop. Haoming and I were the first to arrive, apparently we're probably the  Where you see food, you see people :D YUM   Maine's parents slogged hard in the kitchen to provide non-stop flow of goodies. To reciprocate, someone's gotta eat these gorgeous delicacies! Thursday, January 3, 2008, 05:58 p.m. the becoming My days have been consumed with mindless so-called adventures where my kiasu behaviour of sourcing fabulous(?) culinary locations while getting maximal value for money is excessive. Am I turning into some kind of middle aged woman? SHIT. Nonetheless, I have started on my conquest to finish the final Harry Potter book. If I haven't complained about my snail-like reading abilities, then you shouldn't. Also, I conclude that my vocabulary has become minimal to the extent of retarded. Anyway, ignore my inconsequential sequence of thoughts. I shall move on to mark the more memorable events that have happened in the past approximate ten days. (There is something seriously wrong with me, HAHA) Late night fishing itinerary with cheaterbug actions, resulting in having white pomfret, sea bass and red snapper for dinner! From dusk  To dawn  Dinner with Jan at a Japanese restaurant in Raffles City basement. Tasty food with relatively expensive prices ): but tasty!     My Christmas present from Jan!  Haywire-d imaginations of the Japanese Mafia (no idea what they're called) hiding in the toilet or the banquet rooms due to the decor of the place. Suspecting the waiter. Jan's weird intimidation of the waiter's smooth+melodic+harsh tone of voice, HAHAHA.  Coffee at my favourite Gloria Jeans, now @ Cine :D Someone looks happy too!  Trying to look cross-eyed.  I'm the professional, please.  The boy with a headache.  Trying out Suki Sushi which produced palatable food, excellent (: His Sweet beancurd Udon soup was really sweet!  New Year's Eve, we learned: Don't do last minute reservations! The soon-to-be birthday girl (:  Went to some Japanese village place @ Cathay which turned out really unpleasant because it was like a buffet but you order instead of taking your food to eat. For sushi you'd have to stand up get the food from the conveyor belt and go back to eat, :S nasty. At Gloria Jean's waiting/resting.  Efforts weren't wasted when we got a table at Indulgz on Tan Quee Lan Street opposite Bugis. The food was absolutely delectable! The lobster bisque with crabmeat and his butterfish steak, yummy.     Well, except for my beer battered fish (back) which was a tad too oily and the too salty melted cheese fries with beef bolognaise (right).  We were REALLY full! He's trying to finish my food for me.   The symbol-esque decor for Golden Compass which he happily claimed looks like a condom!  Haha, we look so happy (:  Walked around Bugis then we went to Boat Quay and caught a glimpse/reflection of the fireworks because I was too lazy to move around. Bleahh. rain rain go away It's raining EVERYDAY! Boo, :( This leaves us with nothing much to do because it's such a hassle to leave the house, especially without the convenience of a driving license. Double boo. Prawn-ing on Friday, it's now our weekly family affair. No pics, too troublesome to carry the extra weight. I don't even bring my wallet or phone along! Saturday Haoming and I went AMK K-pool to play pool, which I must add: rather gracefully lost HAHA. Went to the prata place near my house, sat for more than an hour because we were betting on whether Reading (my bet) or Liverpool (his) would win.  I WON! :D He piggybacked me home and claimed that I gained weight. TMD, diet starting tomorrow I declare war on my fats. Had Korean food on Sunday at Haoming's uncle's shop called Auntie Kim's, opposite Prata House in Thomson. Him and my second brother  Ate A LOT of food. Korean pancake; chicken; beef; fish; soup and the works :D  Picked up my eldest brother from the airport and followed him to Newton Circus (my second time there :O) They're SO high-tech, they use walkie talkies to communicate orders! HAHAHA. My brother and Audrey   Wahh, this pic is how unflattering but he looks cute. So it's okay.  Stayed home with DVDs on Monday. Ventured out today! Taka's Toy Wonderland, ooh. He got an advanced shared Christmas present, a toy helicopter which I hear he absolutely enjoys playing with now. Okay, why the hell do my eyes look so small?!  The salesman was using this very very dark fluid inked ballpoint pen, which I really really WANT! But Haoming couldn't get his hands on it even after offering monetary compensation for that pen! Mind you, its the kind of pen you get from hotels ): Ahh wells. Then we had tasty value meal tempura udon!  Followed by: Max Brenners Max Brenners Max Brenners Max Brenners :D    Hot Belgian Waffel with bananas in caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, coconut sorbet (tastes like vanilla) = Banana Split Waffel! His Toffee Chocishake = Brown sugar toffee, Dark chocolate Truffle, a touch of Cinnamon! My Coockie shake = Dark chocolate cream, Oreo coockies, caramelized Pecans! :D Sugar rush followed by frenzy of phototaking :S  The worse was when chocolate overload overcame us )):  Till we couldn't drink no more (after finishing the Waffel of course) and had to threaten each other with "If I drink finish and you don't you're a toufu" Followed by bloated tummies and a 14minute train ride home. Thursday, December 6, 2007, 03:17 a.m. panna cotta; warm chocolate cake; profiteroles After Sara, Bao and Jieying very VERY nicely decided to drop the meeting idea last minute, which I forced Haoming to move his ass for though he was sick. We went for dinner at Sushi Tei Paragon.  The food there was much under the standard of other outlets such as Vivo. TSK. E.g. the Phoenix roll. Watched The Hitman after in Cine  Took scenic shots, HAH.  Walked around for an hour, sat at Far East Plaza's bus stop for one hour and a half just talking while waiting for my brother to come pick us up. Went to Mr. Bean's cafe!  Old style  They had pizza, I had Seafood soup with garlic bread  The Ah Beng  The Boyfriend  The SUPEREMOGIRL  Haoming and I went to town late because of the heavy downpour. Had Bakerzin for dinner, real good service I must add! They ran out of vanilla ice cream and offered any flavour we chose, and the nice waiter let me have two flavours! Opera (Dark chocolate that tastes like coffee?) and Caramel :D FATS FATS FATS. Tuesday, December 4, 2007, 03:38 p.m. freaky tiramisu & fashion shows Wednesday Rearranged the furniture in my room :D FINALLY! With help. Thursday Spent a day with Haoming's brother buying their Birks and settling a first month present for his girlfriend. Build-a-bear! Pretty santarina white soft soft bear, swoons. No camera, no pics ): Damn. Friday Hectic hectic SHOPPING! To exchange for two Rose Chan dolls from Taka (Mum's orders :P), I got to spend 0 HEH HEH HEH. Bought a pair of Betula's; two pairs of shoes from PrettyFit; Chanel compact powder birthday present for his sister; Lancome promotional set for my Mum. The poor boy carrying, having to avoid the friday crowd.  Had lunch/dinner at Food Republic's yummy Japanese shop, euphoria. Soft shell crab maki and Shiok maki (Unagi roll draped with salmon and melted cheese!)   His brother made this spicy Korean rice cake :D The shop's at United Square2 third floor, Hankook Rice Cake.  He bought me a dress from French Connection as a belated birthday gift :D Beautiful. Just a proclaimation  We got to go for the FCUK fashion show on Saturday which was skinny bodies galore and chiseled face! The band Tiramisu playing live was rather good just that the lead singer had bombastic hair, a made up face clothed in a sequined dress + kitten heels. Disturbing, very.  Skinny minnies  Left for St. James after to meet my brother and Natalie, free entry (: Drank champagne, ate calamari rings and chicken wings, danced. Our many many shots and one example of intriguing   Went to eat prata and saw some girl we deduced was from cjc. Drunk, or ACTING drunk (similar to someone we know) sat on the pavement opposite the drain. Righttt. One thing I couldn't stand was that she told the erm, uncle(?) to fuck off just because he didn't want her to block the corridor. Annoying young fuck. Worked at Dempsey B&J's on Sunday, I am so weak. Boyfriend bought me MOS Unagi Rice burger which I didn't offer to share, HAH. And surprised me with another Simpson's toy + Mickey Mouse original DVDs! :D Thursday, November 29, 2007, 01:17 a.m. have i told you lately that Pictures speak louder than words. 24th November, Mainey's party at St. James Movida!Cherie and I went to Sushi Tei at Vivo to have our romantic dinner :D Her sashimi salad, my cha soba and our sushi! Tantalising.    We took hell loads of zany pictures, here's just one.  Including rather unglam multishots of each other eating  Met Ning and went off to St. James.   Gave Mainey a Living Dead Doll called Dahlia (:  Hopping to Power House because my brother was there and met Jareth, Gerard and Joette.   Went back to Movida and kept on dragging Cherie to dance, HAHA.   Daddy's birthday on the 26th, same as Haoming's arrival! :D Had lunch with Sara and Bao at Ding Tai Fung Paragon and watched Enchanted. Which I thought was alright and not a must watch, just very much a chick flick with a fairytale ending. Went to Mooi Chin Place to celebrate Daddy's birthday in search for authentic Hainanese cuisine, wasn't disappointed at all. Nice, very.  Yesterday Haoming and I went to Crystal Jade Golden Palace to have dinner, a last minute decision dressed almost pauper-like compared to the diners there. Mmmm. Monday, September 24, 2007, 09:20 p.m. i can hardly breathe  My brother surprised me with this cake at 2am while I was playing my DS Lite after watching Phantom of the Opera (which was fantabulous), (: That was the start of my birthday. Spent the rest of the day rotting, like Cristian (Haha!) My face was terribly red, swelled and itchy after I bathed, rahh. Then, we were set to meet at 6 my place for dinner in Chinatown. Cherie, Ning, Lyn, Adi, Germaine, Shashi and Xiqi surprised me with another cake and presents! :D (No pictures were taken due to my hideous inflammation, hah) Present to myself!! Well, sorta. 'Cept it was paid for by my parents, HAHA.

Wednesday, September 19, 2007, 10:52 a.m. when you're gone I'm back from the sunny Gold Coast! :D The past two weeks has been the best; the most awesome; the most thrilling and the itchiest. I spent ten days with Haoming, almost killing him with my random tantrums of stress because of the QM test and Psych assignment (which I did terribly for)! Albeit, the time spent was well worth the monetary value, opportunity cost and whatever beeg words capable of expressing how much fun I had. His wonderful surprise of spending twelve days in Melbourne instead of five! :D Including buying another ticket to go Gold Coast with us for one day! He won chocolates from this! O_O  My first part of a birthday present, A SET OF SIX SIMPSONS FIGURINES!! :D :D with sound, oooh.  Then it was off to Gold Coast!  Movie World with Haoming, Cherie and Ning (in order of courage). Heh. We took the Batman spaceride; Batman spaceshot (vertical drop of 56m!); Superman (0-100kph in 2 seconds flat!); Scooby Doo terror; Road Runner; Tweety Bird carousel etc.  Then Haoming left for Singapore )): Spent the other three days in Sea World, Dream World and shopping. Loads of rides, screaming and financial movements! Bubble tea, Baskin&Robbins, Cold Rock. Plus, several several pictures. Onward to the Bermuda Triangle!  Steph, where are you?!   The sad itchy part? I got sandfly bites on my legs and inflammation on my ears which spread to the side of my face, swelling a little. HELL ITCHY. Not much of a birthday present at all. Ping: Yes, I got the Red DS Lite!  It was reported that a grey Hyundai Sonata was seen parked along the curb at the entrance of the Eastern Freeway facing Clifton Hill. The owner El was giving a driving lesson as per usual when the car stalled, for no apparent reason at 12pm today. Minutes before the incident, El was preparing his student to go on the freeway. However, "More gas! Step on the accelerator!" and "I AM! Unless I am stepping on the brakes? NO, I am stepping on the accelerator!" were heard last before the car decelerated on the lane approaching the highway. *Special Commendation for the absolute kind soul who stopped to help poor El, stuck with the possibly bimbotic car-idiot, push the car to a side. Both spent an hour wondering why the car stalled. El made two trips to the nearest petrol kiosk to buy oil and petrol. After countless tries and aimless assumptions whilst waiting for the RACV mechanic, Leo sat in the passenger seat and El tried to start the car again. Miraculously, the car started and the engine did not die. The answer we think is, there was no petrol in the car but the needle was spoilt thus causing the misunderstanding. HAHAHAHA! eh, it has nothing to do with me whatsoever okay! i am the victim, i spent an hour in the car.. looking rather embarrassed. hurr hurr. ah well, he's still gonna charge me for the first HALFhour i drove adding it to our next 1hr lesson = 1 + 1/2 hours. and, the sushi shop Plush Fish in Union House gave me the wrong change! steal my forty cents and i was too chicken to walk back and ask for it. because i realised after leaving the shop! bahhhhh >:| i feel so shortchanged and sound so cheap-o. hahaha. what an experience. what a start to the week. plus, i know i've gained weight.. that sucks big time )): i'll be missing you i need to seek solace, will you be the one that saves me? Staying back another year was never easy, especially being the only one from the level. Speaking for itself this feeling of being incapable and inferior is awful, which is not something anyone will understand thoroughly. Having to make new friends, to learn things over and have people think it's gonna be easy since I'm repeating the subjects. Doing it again without hardwork, doesn't necessarily equate to excellent results. It's diligent work, obviously. I remember my classmate asked "How did you do?" and upon knowing I did relatively well. She burst my bubble saying "Oh, that's cause you do before right?" When people doubt my abilities, maybe to make themselves feel better because they fared worse.. I start to judge myself and wonder if what they say is true. I start to think, why my peers can cope with the normal route but not me. Negative thoughts fill my head. I managed to prove I could beat the education system, not ideally but satisfactorily. Then, to catch up with people of my age I left for Melbourne. Again, people think I'm taking the easy way out. Why? Because it's supposedly "easier, more laid back" here. Well, let me tell you. The foundation year wasn't as easy as everyone thought it'd be (from my previous rants). We slogged and worked to get the results worthy to compete with the locals. Mind you, they are really smart which is why Melbourne Uni is considered prestigious. Just attend one tutorial here and you'll be impressed with them. Although Uni is daunting, I have to admit it is more slack as compared to College. Then I start to think, is it because we're paying hell loads more than them it doesn't quite matter that we worked for that place? Because, that's how everyone judges me. There are people who are much richer, but did not meet the prerequisite scores to get in and are now studying elsewhere. So, in the end it doesn't matter whether i did pore over books and more books to complete the essays, tear bundles of hair out practising, review the lecture notes, stress myself out madly and study. [Yes, there is the rare case of groups who party lots and still mangage to do well (but I'm talking about myself here? typical not-so-smart nerd).] People still think I took the easy way out. I haven't mentioned the loneliness and independence thrown upon me, indirectly forcing me to 'grow up' faster. Until you can truly "put yourself in my shoes" then are you fit to voice one remark about me or what I'm going through. Which is never. Should I care about what those people think? And what if it is how my friends feel towards me all this while. You may think I'm overgeneralising here, but face it. You feel that way too. Monday, April 9, 2007, 09:11 p.m. i think i could like you thank you ele for the intro to the song How to Touch a Girl by Jojo. i have a few nice songs to intro to you, intro-ed to me by cherie! srsly, good :D oddly enough, i've been living my world in silence these past three days. my songs are on pause; my teevee's muted; my phone's on silent w/o vibrations; my msn status is Away so lesser (which normally there's none) ppl talk to me and i've not left the house (except to buy chocolatemilk and -GASP! to exercise trying to lose weight) at all. also, i agree with ping (if you're reading, i read your livejournal haha). i brainstorm/reflect/think (a different kind from hers) best before i sleep.. which causes me to be deprived of sleep sometimes. cos i wont be able to get to sleep. okay, will be back to touchup on this roughly crappy entry. :D Friday, April 6, 2007, 09:36 p.m. feelings can grow but it has been a FANTASTIC end to the midsemester! SRSLY. heh ((: thursday  cherie, ning and i went to watch Miss Saigon at Her Majesty's Theatre. the spendthrifts in us bought the reserve A tickets, 0?! and, we were seated on the third level.. cant quite see the actors' faces and there was this guy's head constantly blocking my view of the stage?! bahh. but i thought the story was not too bad, for a tragic ending with a very good developing plot combined with theatrical excellence (of moving props and how the scenes unfold, flawless). [secretly, trying to find the play reviewer in me] hahaha, and the lead actress CAN SING! the lead actor has a hot bod! so, im quite satisfied (: today after about one year of nagging, procrastinating and what else. im finally learning to drive!! :D :D :D, scary too. ning and i had our VERY FIRST MANUAL DRIVING LESSON!!! :S hahaha, i was... not terrible. but, errr.. alright. hahah, and just maybe we'll be able to get our licenses before july! watch out sgp, heh. embarrassment: my hand leg coordination isnt superb, i kept stepping on the clutch. HAHAHA, even when im making a turn!? I CAN DRIVE STRAIGHT AND MAKE LEFT TURNS NOW!! next driving lesson's on friday. YAY! :D i want my license i want my license i want my license i want. my not so trusting brother. me: kor, can i try and drive the car while you sit next to me? (after telling him bout my lessons and all) kor: errrrrr... wait until you have a few more lessons luh! me: I KNEW YOU'D SAY THAT. tmd.  and and and, cherie and i went to watch another stage show from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival called Puppet Up! - Uncensored in Princess Theatre. this one cost us which we thought would have been much more worth it if it were . we're such wastrels, i swear. but but but, we went there not expecting much.. turns out its like "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" style. AWESOME!! srsly funky. it was hilarious at most parts, where audiences shout out different scenarios and occupations or whatnot! the actors are exceptional and eloquent, they think on their feet literally with cute puppets on their arms. they can also sing and rap, any style even REGGAE! hurr hurr. a first for everything :D p/s: i updated the previous entry already. have a good easter ya'll. here comes the edit: This may contradict the emotions expressed above, just don't bother if you actually do care. You learn something new everyday. :D Saturday, March 31, 2007, 05:54 p.m. say it ain't so, i will not go UPDATE !! :D stayover at cherie's: pics she made us take when we were taking a walk :s    at college square swanston's pool.  melb's food festival: the gelato (very nice pistachio!), roastedhoney+almond icecream and sourplum icee!!  ning supposedly making a mummy,I-WANT-ICECREAM face  cherie made us pose like tourists. hence, the looks.  see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil.  we had yummy san churros and wrap = madness. this is really really awful blackcoffee slush (which cherie bravely declined milk or sugar). really, do not be deceived by my smile. it's AWFUL.  update on the one heck of a week with the nice i had less than eight hours of sleep in fortyeight hours. see ya'll another short update: i make GOOD lasagne!! steph should be prouda me, hee hee. i cooked lunch on sunday, lasagne and macaroni cake (some desert) for cherie, ning and lyn, adi didnt eat. we went to watch Meet the Robinsons. cherie and i were damn irritated with the lead Louis, cos he was such a brat in an annoying manner! but i like happy endings, so no complaints. Saturday, March 24, 2007, 05:19 p.m. i'll reach out my hand to you it has been quite a busy week: - anthro presentation (ungraded) - accountings assignment (10%) - microecons exam (5% only) coming up: - accountings decision making - microecons assignment (10%) - anthro article summary (12.5%) BAHH! plus quite a bit of subject reviewing to do, what to say? I AM A NERD WHAT. an angry one, now. >:| anywayy, last friday 16th march. we had a bbq at lyn's place, just the usual five of us, smoked like meats and filled with too much food! hahaha! but, we had a lot of fun ((: cos ning had to go home, we moved the party to cherie's place intending to play cards. but ended up watching futurama! heh. all in all fun. this is the story we came up with (warning, versions may vary): there was once a girl who loved to bbq food,  suddenly one day, this evil man snuck up on her.. with tongs!   (i just love lyn's facial expressions, priceless!) then, SUPER EMO GIRL came to her rescue!!  and somehow, the end.  look at her adoring face! i feel so heroic, hurr hurr. lyn makes good lasagne and mashed potatoes! a picture of our seaweed wrapped food (yeah rightt, its carbon ppl. carbon).  and four of the many pics cherie, ning and i took!  wed, we surprised shuk at lions twelveam her birthday. and cherie, ning and i took a 'neoprint' which was a real failure. hahaha! plus, quite a few other spastic shots. examples:   im feeling guilty. since thurs night till now, i've not been doing any work. cos, i've been hanging out at cherie's place.. i stayed over for two nights. we had FONDUE! hell loads of chocolates, didnt slept till real we submitted our resumes' to il freddo but the person hasnt called us back.. and the boss's quite scary. we had red rooster after that, then headed back to cherie's place to eat grilled veggies (i.e. eggplant, zucchini, sweet potatoes and bacon+asparagus). more chocolate, more chocolate and even more chocolate. HAHAHA! oh, and futurama too! hee ((: talked till late and woke up at fourthirtypm. we wanted to go shopping, (erm, window shopping for me that is). ended up having a late lunch, in which i still feel greedy and am gonna have a peanutbutter+strawbjam sandwich! Saturday, March 10, 2007, 02:58 p.m. well, you hit where it hurt another update, another treat. heh (; i realised i didnt pitas much about my summer holiday '06 to '07. i was basically quite disappointed with my, erm.. friends (if you can call them that). the conceited me, feels that if you say you miss me (blahblah) then you should bloody well make time to meet me. instead of coming up with excuses, reasons and whatshit. like, DUH? makes sense? yes no? anyway, at least i got to meet up with some friends. then after once, or twice.. no more. yeahh, rightttt. okayy, anyway. one more thing is, NOBODY gave me a birthday gift!? wtf. i sound really materialistic, but hey. i spent effort in sending gifts back, the arrogant shit in me thinks i deserve better than NOTHING. yeah, all applicable. the greatest would be.. STEPH! she brought me a snowwhite&sevendwarfs snowglobe (though i dont quite like snowwhite) all the way from the states?!?! thank you dear, i appreciate it very very much! i, i don't know why i miss you so much school today was.. slack? i had my microecons tute in the morning, and there was no accounts tute and psych practical (which they did not say, resulting in me sleeping in class for an hour) after. cherie, lyn, adi and i were reminiscing about our trinity days, HAHAHA! and, we totally do NOT act like uni students?! hilarious. met them after psych, watched pursuit of happyness in the halfpipe, snuck nando's in as usual! hahaha.  i think it's another awesome show altogether. seems like its a good movie year, hope the up-and-coming trilogy shows will be just as good. cant wait! Sunday, February 25, 2007, 12:16 a.m. you know it's not easy to do the past two month summer holiday was GREAT! i got to work at ben&jerry's, which was AWESOME! truly. (: made new friends like stef, qiu, jolene, jessica, mei ping and the people working at cathay and great world city. of course, with ele! hanging out with jan was superb, satisfying and stupendous! enjoyed every moment spent with her, naturally. ((: watched movies such as eragon, the holiday, curse of the golden flower, night at the museum, protege, just follow law and epic movie. managed to go to places i wanted to go and eat the food i craved, etc. all in all, it was a well spent holiday which i really enjoyed and miss. ): the past two days here havent been too good, but thanks to ning and cherie helping me with the uni enrolment and little stuffs. BIG THANKS! ((: watched music and lyrics with cherie today, surprisingly feelgood romantic comedy! oh well, sorta. but, still a highly recommended must-watch! plus, the songs were very catchy kind of makes-me-have-to-download.  then we had a mini steamboat, just us. hahaha, we had a hell load of phototaking frenzy. and watched spy kids and the mummy on teevee! going victoria market tomorrow to continue our steamboat. then, school It ain't easy to say goodbye, darling please don't start to cry.
