Crystal Clear is the layout I made for September 05. No stock image/s were used and so I was rather proud of what came out of it =] The designing itself took only a few hours but the coding took me days ( i suck at coding =P ) but I was satisfied ^^ putting the codes on pitas.com was hell tho ...

as expected, i got sick ;x
went to Whistler one day, and the Hope on the next. both days had horrible weather and it was cold ... even on the job because we were shooting on ice =_= i was wearing so much that i looked fat lol. took the day off from work today cause i just couldn't scream for another day. probably take the day off tmr too -_- but ahh the guilt the guilt! dammit ... guess i'll see.
watched Saw 3 with jack, oleg, herman, and stephen. darren met up with us after the movie on the DDR machine. movie was ... well it was gorey ... lots of scary movies coming out soon =_= dammit ;x i was hoping to see the trailer for Happy Feet but nope =(

Monday, October 16, 2006 [12:16 a.m.]
rain poured down today. the shoot scheduled at 9am was outside and you can guess how that turned out. the kids and parents shoving each other into the shaded area to get out of the rain, which just HAPPENED to be where the photographer had set up his equips. so i had to get the parents and kids to get out of the way while keep calling out names and keeping track of the kids. damn that was hard -_- i couldn't even hear myself talk really ... that lasted until 11:30am. we were supposed to be out of there by 11:10am but teams were late and stuff. this one last coach had the nerve to ask for us to stay 20min for the kids that hadn't arrived yet and they were already 20minutes late. waiting another 20min under the rain while we have another shoot to get to, HA! yea right -_-.
the 1pm to 8:15pm shoot was alright. glad it was indoors, oh so very very glad! but the kids were noisy too -_- i thought i was gonna lose my voice by the end of the night ... i ran out of water so i had to go buy some. we didn't finish till 8:30pm. was so relieved to see the last team come and went. had about 10 missed calls lol D; holy crap ... call me once and when i didn't pick up, wait till i call back or something XD no need to spam my phone D; lol~ anyways, good thing Jess got the paper work done while doing the indoor basketball shoot, otherwise we would've had to go back to the office and do paper work from this morning and the bball shoot too. wouldn't be back till about 1am if that was the case D;
heard about the PS3 pre-order happening at Oakridge's EB Games, gonna check that out and line up at 7am at the door if i can get up at 5/6am lol. if not, then screw it XD i love my sleep when i am sleeping x]

alright so it's october already and how goes my portfolio? not as smooth as i had hoped ^^;; well i did have some things done but now that i talked to Kevin Louis, i want to discard some (most) of the things i had planned to show. they just didn't seemed up to par with what i should be doing. Kevin is a great help tho. he gave me some useful tips and gave me a tour around the office. lots of hard working people there x] very talented i might add. i looked around the office and was impressed with a lot of the things they had done. right now one of them is working on Rob Feenie's website XD can't wait to see it when it's completed =]
after my little meeting with Kevin, i was inspired to pick up a few books at the library to get some ideas. i ended up with 10 books and all pretty damn heavy.
i got a job with lin's help. it was to set-up a website for ELEMENT spa for nails. my first paid website! ^^ they gave me a flash template and i worked from there. got mad confused because i had no knowledge of flash at all, and on top of that, i had to use this program called SwishMax. it's interface just completely threw me off right at the beginning. took me so long just to figure out where each layer is at and which is for which, etc. let's just say i was messing up at every turn i took for the first day XD but i guess i caught up on the second day and started to get used to the tools a bit more. if anyone's interested, at check it out =] it's not completely finished yet so bare with me ^^;
i guess everything is going great right now. i have a job that i like that pays well, i have a goal, and i have someone that loves me =] only doubts i have is my self confidence but i guess i'm building that up step by step. looking back, i've improved a lot.
