I'm Angela. I like DNAngel. (I like Krad best because he's a goddamn badass, but Dark and Daisuke will do *grins*) Go visit my website if you're so inclined (as if there aren't a million other links to it here already).

"so unreal"

I woke up at 7:30 this morning to get in the shower; I really didn't want to, I was still so sleepy. But I got in, did the usual, got on the computer for a few minutes to check the regular webcomics, then went to Zebulon for surgery. I waited a while, then got put in the seat. They took my blood pressure, and it was slightly high (I was getting a tad nervous, after all), then put me on an IV. They explained everything that would happen, and put me on some oxygen as well to relax me. And yeah, I relaxed. They also had some laughing gas, and eventually I did feel that part... It was funny. I mean, yeah I know it's funny because ha ha I'm on laughing gas, everything's so damn funny. But when I thought of it as, "I'm on laughing gas. That's so weird," it got funnier. It's a circular process, so I won't bother talking about it anymore. Then I passed out, as expected. I wake up, my mouth feels numb, I'm told to sit up slowly, and I start talking with one of the nurses. I might have wobbled a bit too much, and I really wanted to go back to sleep (I was already tired to begin with, and the medication didn't help). So I did that once I got in the car. Then when I got home again. Woke up, read some stuff, watched The Matrix, as Mom got it on sale yesterday, ate dinner, and here I am.

John's coming over tomorrow, and that's all I really want at this point. Some things don't change, and that's fine with me.

good and bad, girls and boys

Whatever the hell the title's supposed to mean. I needed something random.

So Animazement was this past weekend. It was good. The first day I wound up with no money! Yay! I spent the majority of it at Sasuga Bookstore's booth, buying up six volumes of Trigun Maximum (1-4, 6, 8) and two volumes of DNAngel (6 and 8, and they DIDN'T HAVE 7, GRR). I also bought Annie the Hyde necklace (the barbwire one) and myself the Gackt CD "Mars". Mmmmmmmm mm good. John and I bought a universal Dreamcast, so once John gets his computer back, we're gonna be in Dreamcast heaven.

Panels and anime. Yeah. Didn't actually see a whole bunch of that. I went to the anime music video showing, and cosplay, and the art auction... I saw the first two episodes of Earth Girl Arjuna (which were strange)... And that's it. I hung out mostly in the art room since that's where Sara was working. Eventually, most of us were working there at least in part too. Except for Tate, who dressed up as a girl and pulled it off nicely, I think.

Anyway, really tired now, so to sum up: Animazement 2003 = all right in my book. Which book, I don't know. But if I look at any Trigun Maximum anymore tonight, I'm going to go insane. So goodnight.

papa lapped a pap lopped

Yeah, listening to a LOT of Gackt right now. I'm also kinda hyped up (for reasons unknown, again). This would be all right, except I'm tired as fuck, and it's the middle of the night. I shouldn't have taken that nap earlier. Wouldn't have had those weird-ass dreams (when are my dreams not weird-ass?). HOWEVER, I did get to talk to John; his poor computer's in the shop for two weeks. I don't know how he's going to get by.

I don't think I might have mentioned that Wray called me on Monday to tell me the server is back up (except for my login... some unfortunate business there). So yeah. Dan, that's who Tracy was refering to, not Tim. That'd be really scary.

Zoo was great that day too, though it brought out some more unpleasant facts about myself. Ugh. But in my defense, I am a psycho. John knows exactly why.

I want more Gackt CDs!

What else happened this week. I spent most of it at John's house, I think. Sakaki likes sleeping on my head ¬_¬ John says it was because I was on her side of the bed, but pfft. She's as crazy as him.

I was tempted earlier to watch Apocalypse Now Redux... But it's four frickin' hours! I don't know if it's worth watching all that on network TV. I mean, c'mon. Commercials, edits, formatted-for-television crap. Besides, all these nifty webcomics were calling my name. The sad thing is I'll probably forget all about them. After remembering Apocalypse Now Redux is based off of Heart of Darkness, I pulled out my Brit Lit II book and... glanced at the story. Which is to say I flipped through the pages and put it back. Yes yes, pathetic, I know. The glory days have all left, dried up like fallen leaves in the sun.

Or some poetry shit like that. "Smush" is a funny word. I wonder what it would be like to be part of a group blog. Not going to happen though. Most of my friends are complete dorks when it comes to things like updating stuff, or writing about their lives. I also wonder what it would be like to create a false blog. Kayla did that once (go figure). Of course, most people think she's a guy. She encourages it. *shrugs*

I want some funky layout that incorporates Courier as the font. I... don't know why. I'm getting goosebumps all over. It's a little cold in my room, despite having no fan on and being next to the yummy heat-producing wonder that is my Lucy2. Maybe it's because I'm hearing Kotani Kinya sing Glaring Dream. Mmm, cold-as-ice Yuki. Why do I go for that type of anime guy? The badass that could care less if he were badass. The cold-hearted bastard. John's not that way. None of my guyfriends are like that. (Psychological warfare on myself! Grarg!)

But seriously Pom Pom, I haven't read Strong Bad's email in a while. Life gets pretty stale without Strong Bad. He's the man. Oh yeah. I'm now staring at the sphere time chart thingie I made that's next to me. Observe:

1 Dot/Sphere - 1 Month

01 - 2 weeks
02 - 1 week
03 - 3 days, 12 hours
04 - 1 day, 18 hours
05 - 21 hours
06 - 10 hours, 30 minutes
07 - 5 hours, 15 minutes
08 - 2 hours, 45 minutes
09 - 1 hour, 22.5 minutes
10 - 41.25 minutes

...where the first column of numbers are the accumulative number of successes rolled with Library and Mentor, and the second are the lengths of time it will take to get that dot for however many successes you get. I wasn't sure how strict Dan was playing to the Bitter Road rules, so I added the tenth success, even if you can only get nine. Won't matter in the long run if the tenth doesn't count, yeah? (I've just been informed by Billy that it doesn't, so whatever. It was fun for a while thinking it'd be possible to get a fifth dot in 3 days, 12 hours, and 22.5 minutes.)

Anyway, I guess that'll be it for now. Good night.

can't really think of anything

But I guess since I archived, I'll at least give this much to the front page.
