Hee-hee! Quizzes are always fun. But finals take place tomorrow, and I really should finish up SS notes.
For some unexplained reason, I was profoundly happy all day at school! INT: basically a free block -- I refreshed my memory of chemical equations, as well as played the tunnel game on Cat's calculator.
CT: Mrs. Nicholson gave us chocolate cookies, and I spent the class talking with Jennifer, Lyn, and Claire.
MA: 98% on our last MA test (geometry) is enough to make anyone happy!
PE: Played softball. I discovered that I can, in fact, hit the ball! But I can't catch.

So you're gorgeous, but you're such a prima dona. You blinded a guy for your own sake (okay, so it was an accident) and got so wrapped up in yourself that your hair was your only wonderful asset. C'mere for a kiss, deary. * * * Want to put this on your web page, livejournal, blog, etc?

You're excited about life and in touch with yourself and nature. Tell me, do I have this straight? Virtues: You appreciate humor like none other. Puns might even spark laughter in you (TEHY R FUNNI). You seek adventure and connection with your surroundings. You seek friends who will not only share laughs with you but actually form a deep bond of trust and empathy beneath the surface. You look for adventure and courage in people, and variation is necessary to keep you under control. You see yourself as multi-faceted, so you need people who can see you in your many lights. You're constantly trying to figure yourself out while analyzing the people around you. Silly, silly people. Aspirations: You can't decide what you want to be yet, but you know you want it to be adventures and interesting, with constant changes. You don't know what love will do for you yet, but it's competing with adventure for a place in your heart. An internal conflict has begun: can you be a successful worker, lover, and parent all at once? Quirks: Noise of any sort is irritating when you're in the mood. Smacking gum, loud chewing, humming- it's about as pleasing as bodily noises. You dislike emaciated people because of jealousy and just plain disgust. You're a procrastinator but a hard worker, too. Factors: You need constant attention and support. You're high-maintnence, but a great, reliable friend. Nature needs you and you need nature; it's helped thus far, so keep in touch with the outside world. Future: Who knows! You absolutely need constant change, so vacationing is surely in the cards. Will you settle down or not? Love will find you eventually, as it does to everyone. Will you choose the sweet home life or the rewarding busy-bee life? * * * Want to put this on your web page, livejournal, blog, etc?

Why must we have finals? Why? Studying for a year's worth of material in half a week is really very unpleasant. Mlle. Dong agrees, so there! Actually, it's SC I'm worried about most; that and SS. Dr. Gabbott made the exam sound hard ... and I still need to review my MA notes ... and I need one more Riel source ... "Gar, Riel. Why did you have to go and start rebellions!" Very aptly put, Cat. I agree wholeheartedly.
No, I have not gone to Youthink yet. You'd think that, what with Michael and his camera at lunch, I'd be finished with the favour. Grr, how I dislike cameras -- unless, of course, I am the photographer!
Two more days of classes ... one more day 2 ... one more PE class ...
All IBers should visit ibscrewed.com! I dug it up today in an old Churchill Chronicle article (something that can happen during locker clean-up).

Heh-heh. Yup, I'm still a kid. Ain't that great?

Friday was, apparently, another day of relative academic achievement. Here I proceed to gloat: 96.3% in FR, 96.5% in SC. 48/50 on the dreaded SS Oral Defense! A-HA-HA-HA-HA! Don't mind me. I'm sure many of you out there do better.
Finals, however, are another thing altogether. I spent the bulk of today reviewing SC -- it was not pleasant. Physics is confuzzling. And the fact that I've never taken finals before doesn't help (well, it's the truth).

*Whew* What a day. Very tiring. My legs still hurt (particularly in the knee region) from running those 6 laps. But the good news is that I beat my September time again! From 12:50 to 12:05! Yet I've done better -- like 6 3/4 in 12 minutes ...
Another good thing was the surprising fact that today's math test was NOT as difficult as I feared! I had anticipated evil questions like the ones in the geometry booklet, but they didn't appear! Yes!! The test WAS a 6-pager, though.
Furthermore, I am getting an A in INT ST! Hooray! I originally thought I wouldn't because I don't participate enough. Perhaps this has been a day of acedemic success!
All you people out there who read my blog, I'd like to know who you are ... and wish my group luck in tomorrow's EN presentation!

Yes, I had to suffer through a PE Langara Run today! And I survived ... but truth to tell, I don't mind if that's the last one I ever do! I'm happy enough with my time, however -- 14:59! My September Run was 16:09. Yea, I've improved!
I know I'm only posting short little entries now, but there really isn't much to write.

Yes!! Oral Defense over and done with! And a portion of FR too! Little by little, summer vacation is approaching ... I figure I can hold out for 2 more weeks.
Neale has been reading this blog? Since when? How did he get the URL? Argh ... why all the subtlety? He could have tagged, you know.

Rebecca came over today to keep David company! I took the 2 of them to ol' Sunnyside Park, which I haven't been to in ages ... ever since last summer. I miss those days ...
Aah! FR oral exam and SS Oral Defense tomorrow! Nooo! And the fact that I've never taken finals before doesn't help!
Bobby told me something special yesterday! *_*

My EN group met today at Central Library (why there, I have no clue -- we didn't even go in). But we did make progress, which is good. I have organized and e-mailed the storyline to the 2 appointed scriptwriters.
After we broke up the meeting, Sam, Cat, and I wandered aimlessly around downtown. Downtown will never cease to scare me ...

Your score is 49. You are Kermit!

You are Kermit!
Though you're technically the star, you're pretty mellow and don't mind letting others share the spotlight. You are also something of a dreamer.

How on earth can Ms. Patton be so evil? So evil as to assign a project when there is 1 measly week left of school?? Why??
Ugh, SS Oral Defense on Monday. As well as FR Orals. Sounds fun, eh? Ah, well, only 2 weekends left to cram. At least it's a nice, sunny day outside; that usually cheers me up.

Cafifi's birthday was 2 days ago! *_* Sorry I didn't post on that day ... but I hope you enjoy your present, Fifi! Lyddie, I went to your blog!
Guidance today -- we watched a very depressing video about drug abuse. Guidance is so irrelevant. And we didn't even get free millenium stamps like Cat & Sam's class did!! I was so sad ...

Excellent -- I have finished note-taking on Riel in the textbook! Plus I went to BPL and borrowed 3 more books on Riel (in case you're wondering, no, I do not enjoy this, and I am not in the least interested in Riel ... much. It is, however, necessary for the IB SS 10 final).

Sammo, have you posted in your blog yet? Lalala ... I'm procrastinating again ... I really should be doing MA, and FR, and SS, and reviewing for finals ... Nothing more to say, except that I am mailing my letters today.

Today Churchill hosted its annual Spring Carnival. Yes, the weather was cooperative. Sami, Cat & I ran the duckie pond! Well, actually, they were the official volunteers; I just sort of helped without signing up to do so.
Everything started out pretty well -- business proved good, and the little kids who showed up were really really cute!! A while later, however, things took a turn for the worse ...
At this point I should mention that there was a rather intense water battle taking place near our post ... soon people began stealing water from our duck pond as ammo. At first there were only a few of them, and it wasn't a problem. THEN more and more miscreants came, AND they got ruder and ruder ... and some scooped up water without asking, or asked and stole water without listening to the answer (seriously, what is the point of that?), or -- worst of all -- started fights right beside us!
I mean, HELLO? What is your problem? What do you think the purpose of a specific "Water Zone" area is for? To be ignored? Can't you put 2+2 together to figure that those who AREN'T in that zone DON'T WANT to get wet?? Try looking past your own interests, for cripes' sake!
GRR ... but aside from that, volunteering was quite fun. Enhanced by the fact that the 3 of us each got a rubber ducky for our pains! We deserve them too, no doubt about that. Humph. This all goes to prove that certain Churchillians ARE just as ignorant and thoughtless and deaf and self-absorbed and, yes, stupid, as Idealites expect them to be. Case closed.

Hmm ... the problem with my having a blog is the lack of anything substantial to post. Furthermore, I have very little time for soul outpourings, so don't expect those.
Anyhow -- I got a letter from Jessica yesterday! This was something I forgot to mention at school. Sarah's letter arrived the day before. And ... the PE test wasn't hard. But really, we shouldn't have tests in PE! Isn't the whole idea behind PE exercise and physical fitness and stuff like that? Tests are supposed to be reserved for acedemic subjects.
Oh yes: the world should know that May 27th is CATHERINE'S BIRTHDAY!

Wow ... I have a blog! This is so cool ... thanks for everything, Gemtiger! And the layout and colours and font and stuff are all most excellent! And the fairy is pretty ... and it took me ages (alright, a while) to figure out how to actually write an entry. I suppose I must be on more regularly now. Thanks again! Sammo, you must get a blog too! Merci beaucoup! Arigato!
