Thanks so much for driving us home yesterday, Justin ... I owe you one. *^^* My dad does have 2 UBC library cards! And they look nothing like yours! Which was why I couldn't find yours in your wallet >_<
I am not looking forward to the next couple of weeks. So much for not complaining about IB.
As far as Physics 11 credit is concerned, I see 3 courses of action: 1) Forget it. I'll just not go into sciences, I suppose. Such a shame, though.
2) Take it this summer -- summer school. Which would mean balancing that, EE, CAS, prepping for IB exams, and Subway. You think I'll be able to do that? I'd be ready to keel over by September!
3) Take it next year in IB 12. But that would mean forfeiting my elective! I NEED a free block next year, what with finals and mocks and IB 12 being so much MORE brutal than IB 11.
This is making my head hurt >_< I'll let it rest and come back to it in June. BAH! It would help to know what I want to go into, but I have no idea whatsoever. Daarn it ...

Ai ... weekend over already >_< I did no math! None at all! It doesn't take more than one night to study for a test, does it? Does it take more than one night to study for midterm? Hope not ...
Felt kinda bad for Nicolas on Thursday ... stupid detergent spilled and we had to clean it up ... and he was supposed to meet his girlfriend after school too. I told him to go, but then he didn't.
Talked for a while with Julia today! Basically, she took me for a drive ... Andrew sent her to buy some hardware stoof at Revy, and she wanted some company ^^; I'm so screwed for university though ... she's working towards her Master's in English, and she says there aren't many job opportunities in that field. Sam, I need to ask you about Physics summer school!!

I've discovered that I like having the house to myself. Maybe not for an extended period of time, because then I'd get lonely ... just a couple hours in the evening. It's so much more relaxing *^^*
Other than that, there's not much else to say. There's a reason I haven't blogged for a while, yo! And when something does happen, it happens on a day I'm too busy to go online. Later on I forget.
Pro-D tomorrow!! WIN! What to do, besides sleep till noon? ^^ No plans ... but it's all good! Wait ... must finish Bio lab and History chart and Chem graph and Math sheets and French journal. Bleh. There goes my day tomorrow. But still ... it's all good! (Optimism never hurt anybody :P)
Chen is moving today! Which means he won't be living at St. George's Grocery anymore! And he never got a chance to give me free candy :(
Oh! And here's a rose: --(-@

Laurier tutoring won't be routine for a while now. Melinda's gone to China, so my partners (charges?) alternate. I was working with Shirleen yesterday, and she asked me the most bizarre question ever ... "Are you married?"
O.o I was like "Nooo ..."
"Why not?" Hahaha ... I give her leeway because she's in kindergarten. Otherwise o(>.<)'9"
Ying and Rosey invited us to dinner yesterday for Chinese New Year ... we went to this new Hunan restaurant ... the food was spicy!! Spicy as in it hurt to breathe through your mouth. I don't understand some people ... spice can be good but why purposely destroy your taste buds and then brag about it?
I also find it amusing how we spent 5 months on stiochiometry in Chem. And now we're whipping through atomic theory in a mere 3 classes! Mr. Roberts makes no sense ^^

I'll be so glad once the Socrates Cafe is over! Not that I don't like my group, of course ... we met at school today, and all the teachers were giving us odd looks ... very very odd looks, I might add! But we had a locking, sound-proof conference room in the couselling suite all to ourselves!! That was so win!
Then I bussed home in the rain ... not win >.<; hrmm ... my hair is fairly heavy when wet. It's times like this I wish I could drive. I think Justin should teach me!

TOK is so funny ... I get to be secretary-general again! Of course, I could always drop the "secretary" bit and assume absolute dictatorial powers!! From there, I'd go on with my plans to take over the world! And since our block steamrolled all the others in the last interblock competition, Patton gave us hard puzzlies this time! But it's all good!
BAH Chem!! Although I do think I did better on the retest. The multiple choice was easier and far less time-consuming. The written part, well, it's still good practice for the IB exam we'll have to take a year and a bit from now.
I have a Pro-D tomorrow! And I'll be spending it at school! >.<" Who can give me instances of logical fallacies in The Matrix or Memento or Pi or Le Petit Prince or any other material we've covered in class?? I NEED THEM!

I can't believe the school year is half over! Barois wasn't kidding ... I checked in my agenda ... does that mean we've survived 1/4 of the IB Program already? *.*
I'm bored. Bored and procrastinating. TOK group meeting tomorrow at 2:00 ... I just get everyone to come over to my place ... that way I won't have to leave the house! I'm so lazy ^^
I was rereading all the old Club-S entries just now ... they don't date so far back. Tokyo Nights never ceases to amuse me. Justin, if Catherine decides to create a "Club-Sub" blog, would you post? And would you get James to post? Xixixi ... that would be most entertaining (sounds like Jose Dias -.-;)! Yet I doubt anyone will have time now ... maybe in the summer *^^*
I use too many ellipses. Bah!

History seminar wasn't so bad, I suppose. Then again, I never have a good idea of how I did on anything big, like a test or project or whatever. As they say: ignorance is bliss!
I ended up eating dinner at Iris' house on Monday, and didn't get hime till 8:30! We finished our timeline a little earlier than that. Her mom is nice; she kept giving me food! Yay!
And surprisingly enough ... ^.~

Alright. Math test, Chem test, Bio quiz down ... only English timeline, History seminar, and Socrates cafe to go. Or am I forgetting something? Hahaha, I feel so sorry for IB Geo students ... all those unlucky people who got no sleep at all Wednesday night ... so glad I'm not in Geo! Field studies are not fun.
Bleh ... this was such a burnout week >.<" and that Chem test was evil! IB final exam questions on a Chem 11 SL test ... that's WRONG! It's good practice and all, but it should have been for bonus, I think. Grrr~
Hey hey Justin ... I miss talking to you already *^^*
So, so tired~ *yawn*

*shock*
My Bio essay was chosen for the Dupont Contest! *.* Though now I have to fix up all my citations, cuz I think they have holes in them ... but I got 20/20!!
*shock*
This is going to be a busy week ... I was running everything through my head earlier today, and I have no idea how I'll find time to study for Math and Chem. Grr ... at least I'm getting CAS hours out of this (yes, it's the wrong attitude, I know).
Elementary tutoring today was fun! I walked into my classroom and it was like I never left ... and Melinda never stopped talking ^.^ although it was in Mandarin ... hrm, we'll have to work on that.

I got my Passport to Education stamp today!! In the mail!! My dad handed me the envelope with Churchill's return address and I was like o.O? What did I do?
WIN!! And the grade 10 stamp is worth more than the grade 9 one ... I'd forgotten about that.

Blogging while I can ...
Survived the first day back! Admittedly, I was in slow mode for the first class, which happened to be Chem ... ai, Chem's not that hard. But we have a major test next week. And it's the day after the math test. Not to mention we have our third History Seminar the week after. Actually, I expected this >.<
Hey Bobby, I sent in my article ^.^ so you and Catherine can't bother me any more.
Bleh, must start French journal again ... it's 24 entries since last time Barois marked them, Sam! I'm feeling kinda dismal today; dunno why. School wasn't that bad, honestly. Maybe because it's dark out.

Oh no, it's almost over! School is right around the next hairpin!! I wonder where I got that expression? Probably from the same place I stole all the others XD! A little over one day left, then it's back to the relentless yoke of IB ... oh wait, I've resolved not to complain about IB. Alright then, IB is merely ... a challenge! IB is fun ... kinda like Subway, only Subway was more fun *^^* I miss Subway. I miss Subway people ...
Hurrah for a busy fun-filled Winter Holidays! I honestly can't recall a busier one. Not that I haven't had my share of sleep! I'm just hoping it'll last me till Spring Break.
Walked around Trout Lake yesterday. The lake isn't much but I did need the fresh air, not to mention the fact that David made me run (oh, and I can still beat him). Then after we got back David, Mom, and I made dumplings. It's been ages since we've done that! Also talked to Cat on the phone for quite a while ... it wasn't initially supposed to be such a long conversation.
Justin. Hrm, look at the time ... I should be at Subway! Cat and I did talk about it but, well, it's bussing downtown in the dark. Not very pleasant. Darn it, I wanted to visit! O wells ... as long as you keep your promise, it's all good *^___^*
Unfortunately, I seem to have gotten incredibly lazy over the course of the past 2 weeks. Which means I'll likely receive a nasty shock when IB forces me to shake off the languor.

Wheee!! It's the New Year! Wow, last night was *.* I was all flushed and everything. Hyper hyper hyper!! So many people, and I didn't know any of them. But Mico is nice, and so is Cindy.
Thanks for tagging, people! I wonder if I can actually manage to pull off a visit to Subway this coming Saturday. Catherine, where are you?? And *^_____________^* to you, James; I haven't talked to you for the longest time!
Chen, you make me mad. Mad like MADNESS!! >:C Kuai kuai xiang hao!!

And the endless round of dinners and social events has shown no sign of letting up yet. I actually did work last weekend! *gasp* Almost done reading The Lost Steps ... it's odd. Hard to follow because it goes off on seemingly irrelevant tangents. I'll write my essay on the OTHER 2, thank you very much ... Dom Casmurro I partially like and Chronicle of a Death Foretold is straightforward and SHORT!
Chenie is going away soon! Bleh, math prodigy :P representing Canada for some Math Olympiad thing ... GOOD LUCK!! Da ge, wo yi ding hui xiang ni de ...

Hey, it's sunny today ... but I went up to Mount Seymour with a couple of friends and family, and it was snowing! Snow is so nice and pristine and prettyful. Heheh, playing in the snow with David and Sunny ... that's exactly what I needed ... to be a kid again *^^*
*cough cough*
No! I can't be sick! Bah, all I have is a cough ... it sounds kinda bad, but it's nothing really. I am not sick. I'm not I'm not I'm not.

I've gone out for dinner 4 times these past 5 days! Methinks I need to settle down and actually do some work ... bah! Jennifer and Cynthia are the cutest little kids ever! David and I get to open presents tomolo!
*.* *.* *.* I can't seem to settle down and write anything productive ...

Volunteering at the CNIB booth at Metrotown yesterday was fun! Guess who I was working with? Jon Li!! And some other girls I didn't know, but they were all nice and taught me several tricks of the trade, so to speak. Four hours of gift wrapping is so much easier than 4 hours of Subway ... although the latter also has its charms ...
Guess who else I saw there? Twice? Anthony *.* and his friend Steven. Did I say hi? Ahahah ... not really ... *^^*
And WHEEEEE 2 whole weeks of freedom!! Bobby sounds so enthousiastic. Time to catch up on some sleep!

Justin says: in the end... you just get admittance to any university you want... but you just end up going to ubc or sfu... or some other eastern ones... which you would have gotten in anyways...
