Grrr! Bio essay makes me MAD! MAD LIKE ... MADNESS! XD It's ruining my weekend. Aii ... I cry~
Everyone's in the midst of Christmas preparations and I'm like, oh no, I can't make it to that practice, I need to review for TOK in-class essay, BLEH! So this is what IB does to you. Heheh, David is smart; he's resolved to stay away from IB. If it weren't for that Bio essay I'd prep for TOK and that'd be it! I'd still have a weekend!! BLEH to English, I've read the play at least 4 times.
I can still remember how to play Silent Night on the piano, yay! Be happy everyone ... and does Inderbir really read this blog?

Wheeeee today was fun! And I won at bowling *.* but not at billiards >.< but O wells ^.^ and yay for emoticons! You will all receive Christmas presents as soon as I get them ... unfortunately I dunno when that will be ...
That "pie" had too much chocolate in it. I didn't know that "too much chocolate" existed! Wow. The waitress must have thought the 8 of us were rather ... mentally unsound. Certain people in particular, I might add. Cat and I FINALLY heard Mishka sing!! Wheee! I hope I don't owe anything ... funny how these things always turn out so anti-climatic.
Hrm, what's up with the Dickens reunion thing tomorrow? There are a few old classmates I'd love to see again *^^*
Ying and Rosey have bought another Subway in North Van! I also found out yesterday that they live above Chen's family! That is SO weird!! But he said he'd give me free candy!
Oi, I wonder how Justin's first final went.

I'll always like working with Big Bang people ... even if it's only proofreading and depleting their food supply *^^* And yesterday I was working with someone's special someone (although I dunno if he's still her special someone, lol). We were working behind Dr. Gabbott's desk! And then Will Cheng gave us all sushi and wrote "We will work harder" and "Will C. is always right" on the white board! Only my question is: which William does he mean, himself or the acting President?

IT'S 8PM, WHY HAVEN'T SANJA AND BRIAN SENT ME THEIR INFO YET??? We are SO gonna FAIL this presentation. I mean FAIL. -_-
Can't help but notice the 2 of them lead entirely different lives outside of school than my friends and I do ... not that I was overly surprised. I mean, I asked Brian if he knew James and Mike et al ... his reply: "James? I drink with him." So yeah. Not entirely new, but still.
And Saturday night wasn't "going out for dinner," it was a formal 8-course banquet type thing!

Our English Seminar group is officially DEAD, I think. But at least we have a topic now ... argh, I'm gonna FAIL this.
How do I calculate percentage error again, Cat? My Chem lab results are very wrong. And I'm really not in the right mindset for writing Bio essay now. Grr! Not a good day.
For some reason French journal keeps slipping my mind, so I end up writing an entry every day at 11:30-ish. But I'm not behind, yay! And I did finish all my math homework last night. And we're going out for dinner today, so yay again! Maybe it'll take my mind off IB stuff ... maybe that's why I've been eating so much chocolate lately ... hrm, that sounds unhealthy. Bleh~

Hee hee hee. I bugged Jack earlier today on MSN. Hee hee hee. Poor guy *^^* Oh yes, and I talked to James too *^^*
Yes yes, Catherine, I wrote an article for Big Bang! Happy now? It's about Junk DNA, which Dr. Gabbott taught us about last Bio class! The article contradicts him though ... now I must scuttle off to do math. Bah!

FAIRY TALE
nce upon a time there was a young IB STUDENT named HAMLET. He was SWEETLY CARTWHEELING in the INTOXICATING forest when he met COLOSSAL MACBETH, a run-away IB EXAMINER from the LETHAL Queen YVETTE.
HAMLET could see that COLOSSAL MACBETH was hungry so he reached into his AQUARIUM and gave him his ROSY POTSTICKERS. COLOSSAL MACBETH was thankful for HAMLET's POTSTICKERS, so he told HAMLET a very POINTY story about Queen YVETTE's daughter YVONNE. How her mother, the LETHAL Queen YVETTE, kept her locked away in a DOLLHOUSE protected by a gigantic LEMMING, because YVONNE was so MALNUTRITIOUS.
HAMLET DISINTEGRATED. He vowed to COLOSSAL MACBETH the IB EXAMINER that he would save the MALNUTRITIOUS YVONNE. He would SING the LEMMING, and take YVONNE far away from her evil mother, the LETHAL Queen YVETTE, and EXACERBATE her.
Then, all of the sudden, there was an OVERCOOKED SUNRISE and COLOSSAL MACBETH the IB EXAMINER began to laugh. With a puff of smoke he turned into the gigantic LEMMING from his story. LETHAL Queen YVETTE SOMERSAULTED out from behind a PAPERWEIGHT and struck HAMLET dead. In the far off DOLLHOUSE you could hear a KABOOM.
THE END.

Wedding today ... heh, I didn't know anybody there, but my parents are friends of the groom. And guess what I heard playing? Pachelbel's Canon.
Afterwards we went to the Crystal Mall and had something to eat. David and I tried "Taiwanese crushed ice", which is little more than a bowlful of ice and fruit and flavouring. But it was good, and filling ... who would have guessed mouthfuls of ice would be filling? Of course, that wasn't all we had.
Grrr ... math portfolio makes me MAD! Bah!! I need a graphlink cable. And I haven't worked on Bio essay yet this weekend. Grrr ... I have more to do than I thought.

Lalala, I am slacking. Funny, I seem to slack off more now than I did before. Oddness. This is going to cost me, I just know it.
What do I need to do this weekend? History notes, TOK notes, math portfolio, study for Chem quiz (which I'm not gonna bother doing, I think), Bio essay research, Eng Seminar mtg. Yar, a light weekend. Like last weekend. Yay!
Bah! Not enough people are online.

POWER FAILURE!! Thank goodness it didn't last that long ... otherwise I would have been in a tight spot regarding History notes. David was running around looking for candles and getting me to light them all ... it turns out we have quite a lot left over from a few Christmases ago. I was doing French homework by candlelight! At least I have something realatively out-of-the-ordinary to write in my French journal now ...

Oh Sam, I love my grade 1's too! They are *so* sweet ... especially Tessa and Charlaine (I dunno how to spell those yet). You know how really little kids like to crawl all over you? That's so funny; David still does that sometimes >.<
I'm going to a wedding next Saturday. That's the third one this year, and usually I don't even attend many weddings. I'll do Cat's survey thing later, after I e-mail History notes to people ...

Full schedule today. I went down to Laurier with Sam and Bobby for an elementary tutoring meeting, which meant missing a Link meeting. And because of Link, I missed Block F, which was Eng class, so I had to make up our in-class essay after school. Ergo, I did not get home until ... later. Bleh. But at least the essay is over and done with, and I was also assigned a grade 1 class for tutoring! Aww ... little kids are so cute.
Hee hee hee ... guess who turned 19 yesterday? Yay!!

With a little luck and hope and planning, I may actually be able to scrounge some time for myself this weekend! 'Rah! I missed that ... it's what I like about summer.
People are telling me I don't go online often enough. Bah! There's no time most weekdays. I only go on if I really need to, and even then I always end up doing something completely different from what I originally wanted to do. O wells. It's the end of first term today; I can't believe it! And I ended up with an A in French! Yay!! And this in M. Barois' class, when I thought I would FAIL (okay, so I didn't really think that)! Unfortunately that's the only mark I know, and I don't particularly enjoy speculating.
Ho-hum ... Lydia knows now, and I'm getting precisely the reaction I expected from her. Just go on being my "guardian", Lyd, I don't mind. Yet. And that minister thing ... NO. No no no no no and I never wanna hear you mention it again ever ever.
Hrm ... James' Bday is in 2 DAYS! Yar!! Subway all the way!! Hee hee hee.

Falstaff was *good*; I liked it even better than Bard on the Beach! And Prince Hal definitely reminded me of Neale! I don't know whether it was the hair, or the gestures, or the intonation of voice ... but it was Neale!!
And BAH! to TOK presentations which my group started on Friday ... but we met today and got a plotline. And I just finished our script and sent it to Ellen, who will proof it; then she will send it to Elika, who will add stage directions. Cristina and Ellen are in charge of annotations; Irina is our costume/prop/music designer. We are also meeting again tomorrow. Phew!

Dad's coming back from Calgary today! I rented a car for him there, heheh. Presents ... I want presents! Hee hee hee, I'm in a weird mood. Actually did stuff this weekend, like homework, all of it!! Still need to study for Chem and Bio, as well as start Bio essay which is due in December ... at least I have a topic, although I don't know how to spell it, hehehe. Finished reading Seminar documents; they weren't that bad once I really got started on them. I seem to work better in the evenings, somehow.
Ai ... chatting with James for the first time in ages ... almost your birthday! ^.^ Gosh, everybody's birthday is in November ... ho-hum. I want IB to diiiiee! *sniff* I want my holidays back.

Oh, I hate being free to go home after school -- finally -- and it's DARK outside. That's just ... bad. This entire week ... dismissal anytime between 4:30 and 5:30. I walk out Churchill's front door and it's dark. >.< Dark is not pleasant, dark and rainy even less so. But then there's CAS, and I've got close to 50 hours now.
Link was fun! At least the beginning icebreakers were fun. And we got free food! Wheee! Then Big Bang work session, which was alright. Cat and I made a poster and she drew a mad scientist on it ... I think she had Dr. Gabbott in mind ... hehehe.
Argh ... so many things to do on the weekend! Why is it that whenever there's a long weekend, it has to be crammed? Why? WHY??

We beat U-Hill in today's Reach Game! Wheee! Catherine, you must point out "Bobbicus" to me one of these days. I don't believe I know him.
Speaking of Bobbicus ... Bobby ... it's Bobby's birthday today! Wheee! Hope you had fun and don't mind the locker decorations too much. When will YOU start driving, eh? (I feel it is my civic duty to pressure others into taking the test while shying away from the steering wheel myself. Call me a hypocrite :P)
Grr! French today was EVIL. EVIL!! What is the function of lecithin? And must I stay for the Big Bang work session tomorrow after school? Why hasn't Jonathan Li contacted me about that yet? Eh?

Mom has a new edict ... now I have to do the dishes. And not like before, it's now every day! Grr! But o wells. I don't think I'll be home before 5:30 this entire week due to New Shoots, Reach game, Big Bang editing. Hrm. Busy busy. Mike was BAD and made me lose my balance today. Falling over fences is generally not a fun thing. Die! *POW*
Ying and Rosey came over last night. Moses is a veritable ... tyrant! Yar, that's right -- tyrant! He stomps on the keyboard, for goodness' sake! And he has twice the strength and thrice the temper of any other 2-year-old! Which, of course, requires special handling ... it's called torture ... er, I mean discipline! Yar, discipline. Hehehe.
By the way, Justin, those 2 quizzes you "cursed" me for? I ended up getting perfect on both of them. Ahahaha! So it did decide to work the other way (nor did it equilize). Should I thank you? Hmmm ... ^.^

I wonder if university can really be worse than IB. I mean, it's common knowledge that IB prepares us for uni, what with Extended Essay and TOK and CAS hours and HL courses and killer exams at the end of grade 12. Can uni be that much harder? If it is, why go through with this? Not that I'm losing heart; I'm actually surprised that I'm still on top of things. So far it's not THAT stressful ... it's better than I anticipated. I still get 7 hours of sleep, usually. Yes, some marks are going down a little, but that is to be expected ... we did get ample warning ... not that I'm happy about that but still, it's something I need to get used to. What I'm saying is, so far, so good. Yup yup!
