*_* Week-long vacation, of sorts! Wow ... what is to all essentials the last week of summer has been busier than all of July combined. I kinda like it that way. Still think last summer was the best, though *^^*

Monday - Wednesday: Sunshine Coast! David went fishing o_O;; I think fishing is like golf; lots of waiting around and stuff. Maybe slightly better. Eh ... I swam ^^ water was cold. Billy fell in 3 times xD

*misses Mia and Willow*

Thursday - Saturday: Lyd's house for a long-awaited sleepover. You know, we fell asleep and forgot about the apple cider T-T but no matter ... I luffs Two Towers!! And Night Market was fun too! And I cannot believe how rusty I've gotten with badminton ...

"A red sun rises ..." *^.~* actually, all I see outside is an eyelash moon.

Lydia, why'd you have to put THAT on my otherwise pristine tagboard??

Yesterday was win.

Today sucked. Well, actually today was pretty good ... it was just the one thing that sucked. Sam, you know how I was mad at Ying? I think it's my mom behind it, after all ... GRRRR!!! Cuz I was talking to Rosey today. And, hrm, I'd rather not post details here. But I'm sooo mad ...

Wheee~!! PNE was fun xD! So expensive though ... next time we go, it should probably be earlier in the summer, before the PNE opens. We spent most of our time at Playland anyways. Although the stilts were amusing.

Last year we had 4 people ... or was it 5? This year we had a group of *counts* 7 (^_^). Poor James got called to Subway at an untimely hour ... quelle dommage. Sam, we HAVE to outnumber the boys at least once! So many of them, only 2 of us, what with Cat ditching! >_< I like the Water Logs ... although I was NOT expecting to get drenched! I thought I was safely shielded by Mike and Anthony and Bobby, muahaha. But not so. We all got wet, didn't we?

I'd prefer not bringing David next time. He almost got sugar in my eye!! o_O;

Otanjoubi omedetou, Justin-chan~!! So tell me what it feels like, being two decades old ...

O_o;; School newsletter arrived in the mail. Horrible, horrible reminder. Flipping through it -- what do I see??

No! Noo!! *considers dropping out of high school and becoming a zamboni driver* Oh, how I dread September. This sucks.

In retrospect ... Grade 11 was a very eventful year. A good year. Academics-wise, it was sometimes brutal. But academics aside, it was still ... eventful. Some things you couldn't bribe me to live over again. Yet, I can't help thinking that I could probably handle certain situations better now than I did then. At any rate, hopefully next year will be somewhat less ... turbulent.

EE word count: 1110 *^_^* (and Sam, if you don't have your outline by Thursday ... Sarah will blackmail you! Muahaha xD)

A touch over 300 words into my EE!! I figure I can cope with this ... maybe I can even take it easy and write 2 pages a day or something. Or maybe not, since I do have 3700-odd words to go, after all. Less than that before school starts, actually. I suppose it's not SO bad. Hum.

Comfortably In Love

How deeply in love are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

O_o; I think this is theoretically impossible. Unless love happens to be reciprocated, per se. But whatever ... I don't even pretend to know what love is.

which pleasure are you?

Yum :9 alright ... I should get back to EE (coffee break has already taken too long)! Today is also the day-before-somebody's-birthday! *^.~*

NO MORE PHYSICS!! *^o^*

Wow, yesterday was nice. Too bad I couldn't spend it with the rest of you guys, though ... but hopefully I'll see you Monday!

So. After the last real class of summer school, we went to Ken and Lisa's new place for a BBQ-type thing. They're moving back to Singapore soon, so they've rented out their old house (too bad ... it was big and interesting) and are temporarily staying on the 38th floor of a highrise downtown. Their sons Luke and John are already in Singapore. From what I hear, Luke has some acting-related job now, and John's been drafted into the army. It all sounds rather dramatic ... though I kinda miss Luke. Lydia and I used to give him such a hard time! I was a horrible little girl xD but well, he was so tolerant.

The view from their apartment is breathtaking. It's all windows ... later James and I were just lying on pillows by the windows and looking at the lights. James is so cute ^^ I forget he's about the same age as my brother. Visiting the pool before he came was fun. Dinner was really good too ... usually I find BBQs noisy, messy affairs, but this was neither.

In the evening we all walked down to English Bay and watched the fireworks, which were very prettyful ("beautiness," as James termed it). Go China!! Although I'd have to agree with Sam about the stench of pot. I hate the smell equally as much as a abhor the smell of tobacco smoke. I was breathing through my sleeve but it didn't really help.

And in the midst of all this, how much time did I spend studying for the final today? None at all. Any studying I did occured the day before. Mon dieu, I hope I didn't fail it.

*tilts head*

Subway was alright. Pretty much the same as last year, I suppose, complete with idiotic customers just begging to have knives thrown at them. ("If you don't wanna wait, why don't you leave?") I took over Mike's old job! Yar! Just keep me away from veggies ...

Yay people visited me! Well, Mike dropped in but I wouldn't say he was visiting me x) but Sam and Bobby and Yaakov and Lain did ... so busy though. We never even saw the fireworks, which were right outside the door! Nooo, I was cooped up inside ...

Subway lost much of its style when Mike and James left. I think it's gonna lose all its style when Justin and Tiff leave. And frankly, I don't like Tiff's brother very much; he's very short-tempered. Maybe it's a guy thing. Ehh ... it's not like me to be forming judgements so quickly but, well, it's not James' fault that customers don't all speak English clearly.

Got home that Saturday at 11:30ish and frantically tried washing all the Subway smell off my hair and everything ... eeew.

Fun-ness at Ambleside Park today with Rebecca, Cecilia, Linda ... stupid boys wouldn't leave us alone. I didn't expect the younger ones to be that annoying either (David included xF). Bleh.

I haven't gone swimming for such a long time. Ocean water is COLD!! Tastes disgusting too x_o *splash*

Wednesday ... I watched the Czech Republic fireworks without even being near English Bay. They were prettyful (although I'm far from an authority) and plenty high enough so that David and I could see most of them from the balcony. I didn't even know which country it was ... I kept asking people, but they'd tell me the Chinese name and I'd go, "Huh?" cuz it was something I'd never heard before in my life ...

Yesterday was ... busy. Summer school, then Director's meeting from 1:00-3:00, after which Bobby gave me a ride to Yaakov's house. PA announcement: "It is now twenty to three. The school will be closing in 20 minutes. Please leave." That was the best part of the meeting! *yawns*

I fail to comprehend how people can play mah jong -- correction, anything -- for so many hours on end. I mean, everything in moderation, hrm? Don't you get bored? Oh, but Catherine sang for us! Yar! Only I feel short-changed because you didn't finish the song. And Anthony never cut you off -- lies!

I'm beginning to see a pattern in that I'm always the first one to leave. Only yesterday it was kinda unavoidable, cuz I needed to be at Andrew's house. I told Aileen I wouldn't be home till 7-ish cuz she wanted me to send her a song ... as it turned out, I didn't get home till past 10. And then I ate dinner O.<

One more week of summer school!!

A HA HA HA HA HA HA!!

First fireworks night and I'm skipping out on Subway! WIN! *claps hands gleefully* I hope Yaakov enjoys his first REAL Subway experience tonight ...

However, my next 2 Saturdays are not free. *cries*

Ah! I talked to the original Subway James the night before last; haven't heard from him in, like, forever. He'd better come visit on Saturday! *glares* That was a crazy day on MSN ... cuz I was also talking to Lain and Ian and Lydia and Chen and Tim and Bobby and Sam. MSN is oddly able to give me such a high o_O;;

IB Director's meeting tomorrow (nooo -.-;). BAH! But Bobby will pick me up afterwards (^_^) AND I hear Cat is going to sing for us at Mike's place! Hahahaha ... *^.~*

I might have taken this before.

I'm honeydew bubble tea!
Click here to take the test!

*hrm* For once there's nothing to do online. I should leave and do something productive. Like sleep! Dad woke me up at 6:50 today, telling me that our car got vandalized somehow and I had to bus to Burnaby South. T-T Although it didn't take as long as I thought it would.

No homework! YAY! *^o^*

Ah, just finished my physics lab. I'm so unused to this ... after Bio SDS and other assorted IB labs, it seems oddly ... simple. But hey, I'm not complaining x)

Met with Lain -- Emma -- after summer school today! We ended up wandering all around Metrotown, peeking into random stores. It was actually the first time I'd done that with someone other than my mom ... I'd have to admit that I don't know my way around Metrotown at all. After we tired of walking, we sat down at one of those little round tables with bubble tea. And, well ... talked a lot.

*^^* It was fun!

Summer school is boring x_X;

You represent... naivete.

You represent ... naivete. So innocent and trusting ... you can be very shy at times, but it's only because you're not sure how to act. You give off that "I need to be protected vibe." Remember that not all people are good. Being too trusting will get you easily hurt.

What feeling do you represent?

Fine, so I've been neglecting my blog. I *think* the reason is that I have either nothing, or too much, to say. And random ranting just takes too much energy.

Yay -- no physics homework today!! Aileen and I finished it all in class! x) It was so funny ... I don't think Mr. Chiogna knew what to do with us. He'd be going over last day's homework, and we wouldn't be listening because we didn't have problems with it. So he tells us to go ahead and do the problems farther on in the text, the ones he's going to assign later.

So we finish that. Then he assigns it to the class. So we have nothing to do and start goofing off and distracting other people *evil grin*

Then he tells us to define the vocab for the chapter (sound like Science 8/9, anyone?). After we finish that he hands out a worksheet, which we also finish. And all the while we're about a step ahead of the class, give or take a question or two. And Mr. Chiogna looks ... mildly surprised. Anyhoo, we start goofing off again ... if you count calculator games, talking to Grace and Tim, and me teaching Aileen ASL as goofing off. Hrm.

And the crux of that is I have no physics to worry about today! Wheee!!

Also finished annotating Pride and Prejudice for my EE yesterday. That's half a load off my back. What else did I do? Oh yar, I burned my first CD x) *just testing burner*

Still have to cancel Bard ...
