For Miss Rio Diaz.
Today is a Rio Diaz day for me. All my blog pages will be carrying this post in memory of a woman of strength and courage, who for the past six years battled cancer courageously and very calmly with so much faith in her heart. That for me is the real essence of pure courage and strength that is innate in all of us. The kind of courage and strength that inspires people who are sick and dying. The kind of faith that all of us should have, sick or not.
Wherever you are now, I am praying for your soul. I am giving you my highest respect.
May God bless your soul and may you rest in peace.
Note: I do not know Miss Rio Diaz personally. I knew her only on TV.

Here's one good piece for you. How to Hand Shadows from 1859.
This is from "Project Gutenberg's Hand Shadows To Be Thrown Upon The Wall, by Henry Bursill". Try one of these. It's fun for both the young and the old alike. Enjoy!

About ourselves.
Seeking the approval of others -- in the hope of measuring the worth of ourselves -- makes as much sense as looking for our reflection in a falling drop of rain, with the main difference being this; A raindrop actually lasts longer than does that fleeting sense of self we win for having sold our soul for another empty smile.
Looking for ourselves in the eyes of others throws us behind the walls of psychic prison. The door slams and shut each time we find ourselves feeling good about ourselves simply because someone has given us a needed nod of approval. Let's investigate this strange sequence... JPino

Here's one for the Nature - Wild Aid
Here is a call for your help from . Help the Earth and our Nature.
Join The Fight!
"Looking to the future, we need your help to create a world for our children where animals like tigers, sharks and elephants exist safely in the wild, rather than just in captivity or museums. If we don't fight for this future, whole ecosystems will be in jeopardy, many species will become perilously rare, and some will disappear forever.

We hope that you will join us in sharing a vision of a world where wildlife and wild places are truly protected.
Global Peoples Petition for Wildlife
We, the undersigned, call upon the leaders of all the world’s nations to ensure the conservation and protection of our World's wildlife.
We call upon world leaders to act, immediately, to eliminate the illegal trade in wildlife and devote far greater efforts to ensure the protection of wilderness areas.

* Seek alternatives to traditional medicine that contain extracts of tigers, bears, sharks and rhinos.
* If you see products from endangered species on sale, inform the relevant authorities.
* Warn potential buyers of these products that they risk fines and jail if they are caught.

Yet Another Facelift
I wish you will not get confused everytime you check out this page. It's almost every other day, the front page got different looks, colors and background. Frankly, it did change, total facelift almost all the time. This is because I am applying what I am learning about html codes and of course web page design. Now you get it.
Later on I'll move on with the full Web Design-- a big dream? I already made files for some personal templates i created and they are getting huge. Without bragging, I will design and publish The Bankers Club Tennis Association here in Riyadh. Although this is GRATIS, I think this is a good start ha.
Right now, I am studying the Cascading Style Sheet or what they simply call "css". You see them mentioned on top of the html code like " |
