Just came back from Thailand. Sorry Di, forgot to tell you! It's becoming such a boring thing for me...almost like going home! Anyway, when we got back, heard the most dramatic news!

Weng's younger bro (who's my age) brought his gf home to stay for a week coz' she ran away from home! But he only told his parents that she has some family problems! They didn't know she ran away. After that he actually rented a flat and stayed with her! And day before yesterday, her parents made a police report and came to their house claiming that he kidnapped her and blah blah! And he's so angry so he refuses to go home (and of course the girl also)! Oh wait, the icing on the cake...the girl's not even 18 yet!! I think he's in deep shit and his parents are soo upset! Sigh, I will never understand how people can do such dumb things! I mean, if he's like 18 yrs old, fine! But he's my age!!! People my age are supposed to be sensible and mature already!!! This is the kind of stuff that happens on tabloid magazines, not in real life!

Oh yes, I watched Terminator 3 and Dumb and Dumberer....hmmm...I'd say T3 was okay, not that fantastic as the fighting scenes were abit messy! Plus I had this stupid asshole of an Indian guy sitting next to me who kept talking throughout the whole movie! I swear, he's a retard who cracks up at everything! In the beginning, there's an ad for Heineken who sponsored the movie..so the line comes out on the screen 'Brought to you by Heineken'. He repeats the same line on the screen and laughs out hysterically! Then when the show starts, he starts telling his friend 'Oh did you watch Terminator 2..this was the little boy grown up....' Arrghhhhh! And then throughout the whole show, he would just laugh hysterically about everything! Someone goes Son of a Bitch, he would go 'Son of ..a BITCH! Hahahahahhaha'....and when there was a signboard in the scene that says United States of America..he would go, you guessed it 'United States of AMERICA..hahahahahahahaha'. And when Arnold goes 'I'll be back soon'...he went 'Back soon? Back soon...hahahahhaha..Bangkok traffic..back SOON!' And so on...I was ready to punch him in the face!

Dumb and Dumberer is sooo not recommended unless you have too much money, too much time! It's stupid to the most unbelievable extreme!

Oh I bought some new dvds, Lizzy Mguire, Legally Blonde 2, and the new Julia Stiles movie...Weng got Tomb Raider, Hunted and some other action types! Really show our difference in taste huh? He always goes for the mindless action stuff..I always go for teen flicks and romantic chick flicks!

I think the noveltiness (is there such a word??) of blogging has gone and I no longer have the incredible urge to log in and blog! Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it very much but I don't have the die-die also must blog feeling anymore. Thank goodness, coz' it was driving me a li'l crazy!

Went to the temple with Weng and his mom yesterday! This is my first time kindda 'praying' in a temple! I went once when I was ickle for one of my grandpa's funeral but I fainted in there! Haha..I still think it's funny! Anyway, yesterday was the start of the Hungry Ghost Festival, and I've been abit unlucky lately so I just tagged along and did some joss-stick waving and all...quite an interesting experience I think! But I also feel quite bad coz' I'm a Christian and I should not be praying to other Gods...ahhh...the torments of life! Y'know how when you're down on luck and you will just believe anything! La dee dum!

Forgot to blog about my feelings after watching Amazing Race! Whoa~ I'm so glad Chuck and Millie are out! They're a highly irritating couple! Chuck is a bloody wuss who looks like he's gonna burst out crying any time! And I sooo felt like slapping Millie when she kept shoving the map in Chuck's face when he was trailing Jon's car! She's such an idiot! I mean, if you can't even help by reading the stupid map, at least let the fella follow the other car!! Boy am I glad they're out of the way now! Next group out? Definitely Jon and Kelly!

I finally finished with Beautiful Days. Cried like shit for the last episode but I liked the ending! Actually expected it to be like Japanese dramas, sure sad ending! Surprisingly this one went for the cliche yet nice ending! I don't think I can take it if she'd died...How sad is this? My life is revolving round a Korean Drama!?!?!? Hello!?

We had a huge fight yesterday...well actually it was like he was having a fight with me! Don't really want to go into the details but he was, as usual, being an unreasonable pig and accussing me and yelling at me and like 'You always blah blah blah..Why can't you blah blah blah...Why do you have to blah blah blah...' Y'know, those accussation types! And I did my usual of just listening and getting pissed off coz' I didn't have a chance to explain why I did what I did. And when I tried to explain, he refused to listen! Well, it was about work! And it was only a very small thing which I put right almost immediately! But he was sooo mad at me, which made me so angry! I was really upset so I just put down the phone and basically cried the whole night! Maybe it wasn't just the impact of the fight, maybe it was also coz' I haven't cried in a long time and wanted to enjoy a good cry! So I was like crying like mad and when it stopped, I started watching Beautiful Days, which made me get started again! And it was like that until 2 or 3 am in the morning! Needless to say, I was in a bad state today..my eyes were swollen and I was still feeling pissed off! I hate this! I'm not the kind of person who likes to argue so if someone scolds me or tries to start an argument, I will just keep quiet and walk off. I'm like that with my parents too...so they always say I'm better than my sis coz' I don't talk back! Haha...yeah I do, in my heart!

Anyway, when I woke up this morning, Weng called to apologise for last night....and our conversation goes "I'm sorry" 'Hm' "Everything's okay now (the work stuff)" 'Hm' "I'll talk to you later" 'Hm' "I love you" 'Hm'. Even though I know he didn't mean to yell at me, he made me cry the whole night so I'm just boiling and can't bring myself to speak any legible words to him yet...ah well, should have a good night sleep today.

Cult II
It's Official! I'm hooked on PC game now! Haha..was playing Cult I and I really liked it so I downloaded Cult II and I can't stop playing it now! Hehe..anyone interested, it's a freeware at http://studio-blum.com/Games

It's this game where you're like a police officer and you infiltrate some organisation to find stuff and clues..blah blah..basically you walk around and talk to people and stuff..but sometimes you can really get stuck...so that's where the walk through comes in! Haha..cheaterbug me!

Di and ME
Haha! Seriously thinking of changing the theme of this page to the above!!! Coz' Di, you're the only one I know who's reading this! I haven't let anyone else see this! Haha...

Clearing my yahoo groups account..realised that I subscribed to alot of not-functioning groups like A1, Code Red, blah blah! So I just unsubscribed from a whole bunch..should have done this like years ago but always too lazy! There! This should clear some junk from my mailbox!

Weng's mum bought us each a ivory elephant tooth necklace...okay, I still have yet to figure out if it's the elephant tooth, but it's shaped like a mini tusk, if you can actually picture it. Well, it's supposed to bring good luck..so, being good ole' believe-everything me, I put it on immediately! Hehe~ *Cross my fingers* Hope this works! I wish I may, I wish I might, wish upon a star tonight!

Moody Blues
Had quite a rough day...started off bad coz' I was mad at Weng coz' he was rude to me. And the bad mood just stayed on the whole day! As a result, terrible sales...after which Weng goes on the whole, oh what did we do wrong and we must do something different and forces me to change the whole layout of the shop! I think it looks BLOODY UGLY and UNCHIC! I hate it so much, but I know better than to argue with him! I told him even I wouldn't buy things from myself coz' the shop looked like shit! But he's like...oh how would you know...come on, I just know tomorrow's sales will be even shittier! And him being the stupid MCP he is, insistent on his dang ideas...well, I'll make him see! We bought a new mannequin (which I objected all the way from the beginning coz' there really isn't any space in the shop)...hence, it became overcrowded. Weng insisted I remove a rack and move all the clothes into the other racks so now the clothes look overcrowded and in a big messy heap! Did I mention that I hate it? Well, I DO!

Beautiful Days
I sooo hate to say this but I'm kindda hooked on Beautiful Days! Now, fyi, I would never openly admit that I like any Korean Dramas...simply because I think most of them are too slow moving and I still maintain, the girls' makeup look weird! And to be brutally honest, I always thought Lee Byung Hun was monstrously ugly! But his hair in Beautiful Days very beautiful! Haha...I was just searching for a photo of him when I came across this Singapore website and my gosh, he actually left a msg at the website!! And one of the fans compiled a pile of local reports, translated them into Korean and sent to him and he called her at home! Hmm, nice dude!

Current favourite bits of the show:
1. When he asks Lian Xiu to draw a potrait of him and she asks him to relax...he asks if he looks very tensed, so he started shaking his face to relax and the minute he stopped, his face went back to being tensed! So funny!
2. Everytime he walks around the record store and makes sure Lian Xiu knows that he's looking at her..particularly once when he walks behind her and then suddenly puts his hand on her shoulder without looking at her, then walks away!

There's something in his subtleness and not daring to show his feelings that makes the character so attractive! Last night, when I was watching it, and I happened to be flipping channels, I just realised that the same show is on TV! Baka! But it just started on tv...and I hate the tv dubbing! Crap voice! So I'm gonna continue my quest on vcd!

Talent scouted!?
Sorry didn't blog again last night as my sis and my mum were taking turns using...I decided to watch 'Beautiful Days' instead...I'm beginning to like the show although I still maintain it's quite slow! Anyway, Weng and I went shopping yesterday in some strange places..like Pacific Shopping Centre, Shaw Towers...and wonders of wonders, I found so many magic shops there! I never knew there were magic shops in Singapore! And these are the cool magic shops, they sell like professional equipment, not just the kiddy stuff! One of the shops has like a big cage inside...but kindda disappointed with the outlook of the owner and the customers..they look like any other people, not the David Copperfield semi-evil look, if you know what I mean!

Anyway, the highlight of the day was when we got talent-scouted! Ah well, actually I think the guy was only interested in Weng but he was just being nice! This guy ran out of one of the magic shops after us and was like going on and on about how they have links to the tv station and all, and kept asking us to go for their audition or something! He's apparently from a US-based company, Wilhelmina Scouting Networks. It was quite funny! But this is all just a joke to us..so definitely no follow-ups! I dunno what is it with Weng, he always seems to attract the not-so-straight types!

Sunday again!
So sorry for not blogging yesterday as I came home too late! There were so many shoppers yesterday! Usually by 8 or 8.30, there will be quite few people around and most shops would close already...but yesterday, up till 9.30, everywhere was still packed with people! So we couldn't go home!

I've been watching the Korean drama 'Beautiful Days'. Quite nice actually but abit slow so I'm always on forward mode! Thank goodness the dialogue is in Chinese so I don't really have to concentrate that hard when watching...

Nothing much
I know you're supposed to go Thank God It's Friday! But then, really nothing much happening...doesn't even feel like Friday! Oh crap! Amazing Race is on! I'm off..might leave a follow up later! Ciao~

Back! Damn, tonight no elimination! Just as well, coz' I wasn't really hoping for the engaged couple to be eliminated! I want Mollie and Chuck off! They're soooo damn irritating! Mollie is a bloody bitch of a gf and Chuck is sooo wimpy that he looks like he's gonna cry coz' Mollie's bullying him! Yucky couple!

Today, Olivia and Auntie Jessamine came to the shop! They're so lovely, I always get a good laugh with them! Auntie Jessamine is like this blur old lady who loves Jerry Yan, Won Bin and basically, cute young guys! And she lives by Korean dramas! Olivia is a funky, not-that-old lady whom we're quite close to. Ooh, we got our record player today so spent the day spinning old AbBa, carpenters records! Real cool to hear the occassional creaking sound! Weng also played some metal LPs that sounded amazingly close to cd sound. I'm gonna bring my own personal collection to the shop tomorrow to play! Yipee~ I'm absolutely ecstatic coz' I've never seen a record play before! Haha!

Blooper
Woke up early and decided to watch USO...lots of scary photos in this one! Stopped after 1 episode coz' as usual, my heart can't take that much excitement! Hehe...

Something funny happened at work today. There was this man who was choosing a bunch of cds and he was testing them and all, then he told me he wanted these 3 and the rest he didn't want. So I was like ok no problem. Then he said 'I'll put it back for you' and I wanted to say 'No it's okay, I'll put it back later' but something went wrong in my head and I blurted out 'CANNOT!' afterwhich I realised how stupid it sounded I was like 'err...I mean, I will do it later'. But the guy just looked soooo stunned when I went Cannot...rather loudly! And then I couldn't stop laughing and I was like sprawling on the table laughing and when I looked up, the guy was standing right in front of me staring at me. It was soooooo embarrassing! He was like 'err..can I try these too?'! Ahem...made a fool of myself as usual!

I've been changing my wallpaper on my laptop everyday! It started with Legolas from Fellowship of the ring...then I changed to Return of the King....yesterday it was Ya-ya-yah...today, it's YamaP! Hehe..Maybe tomorrow it will be Takki!

Smile Again
10 Things I hate about you yesterday was real good! Love it...love the table dancing part! I finally found out that the song she dances to is 'Hypnotize' by Notorious BIG. Real Cool!

Had a pretty enjoyable day at work! Some dude comes in with his gf and bought a top..and he suddenly tells me that we were in the same school! Quite embarrassing coz' I totally didn't recognise him at all! And I didn't know what to say when he was like 'You're from ACJC right? We're in the same year'..and I was just like 'Really!?' Haha! Stupid reaction!

Nothing much on tv tonight...so I decided to watch 'Worst date in History'...watched the YamaP one which was darn funny! I love the part where he started crying in front of the thugs...and the girl picked up the light saber to whack the thug!

Crappy Day
Had a bad day at work...I think my sales skill is getting from bad to worst! Sometimes, I think the customers are idiots! I mean, you can put up signs saying that certain sale items can not be tried and even write on the hanger "no trying"...some of them can be so elusive as to walk straight into the fitting room and when you try to explain to them that they are not allowed to try, they'll even roll their eyes at you and give you the "Why can't I try?" It's as if they're gonna spend 50 bucks instead of a miserly 10 bucks! Life is hard!

On a brighter note, the Indonesian girls stopped by! Yennie and her sis..these 2 girls have been coming to our shop ever since we opened! And they actually study in Melbourne but always stop by S'pore on their holidays! So we see them every 3 months or so! Yennie is this really funny hyper girl who can stand in the shop and tell us jokes for 2 hours non-stop! And she is so funny that we always end up with aching jaws!!!! Anyway, it's always a joy to see them!

Okie..just a short blog coz' '10 Things I hate about You' is on tv now....haven't watched it in some time! But I still love it! Julia Stiles rocks in this flick! Catch ya later!

First entry!
Yipee~ My first every entry! My first ever online diary thingy! Thanks to my bud, Dianne Rima! There girl! Your name is the first ever to be mentioned here! ^_^ Aren't you proud? I really love the layout you made for me!!

I just visited Mori Chax' website and I saw that there is a shop in Japan that sells only Gloomy products! Ahhhh *faints* I want to go there like NOW!

For the un-informed, gloomy bear is like the cutest morbid thingy to come out of Japan's crazy collectors world! I started collecting the series of Gloomy keychains but gave up coz' I couldn't complete the collection! Ah well, I got me bloody pink one and that's real precious to me! Went to the toy shop above Borders on Sunday coz' I wanted to look at the Gloomys there but damn, the minute I went in, there were like 3 people all holding on to Gloomy Bears! That put me off so much I left the shop immediately! These ignorant people! Half a year ago, no one even took a second look at Gloomy..now, just coz' recently the newspaper ran an article on it, everyone wants to collect! ~Blah~

Funny! Think I'm hooked on Blogging! I've been saving and then coming back to add stuff on this page! Anyway, I just have to add in that I just watched 'Long Love Letter' and it was so good! Besides the fact that YamaP was in it....and so was Tsumabuki Satoshi (but he looks yucky in this dorama)...the storyline was really good and made me ponder alot about the possibilities! Dee, you have to watch this one!

Today Weng went to cut his hair at Gorgeous Hair salon and realised that Tony was actually the hair stylist for Edison Chen here! And now that Edison is botak, his manager actually introduced Tony to the crew(Twins Effect Movie) so he was the stylist for the whole cast during their promo here! Anyway, he gave us this humongous autographed poster of the cast! Real cool! Been searching around the net and no one is selling this poster so it could be real valuable! *Keching*$$$ Haha...nah, I would probably be keeping it..
